Stacy was a complete Mary-Sue!!! She totally ruined any hope for House/Cameron in Season 2. I'm glad she's gone.

I disagree- I don't think that Stacy was a Mary-Sue at all. I didn't LIKE her very much, but I didn't hate her, either. She was an important part of House's past and ignoring her or insulting her doesn't make that go away.

In addition, House/Cameron was NEVER going to happen in season two. A meaningful relationship between the two of them isn't ever going to be possible. Obviously Cameron is attractive, and she can sometimes be a good doctor, but House clearly doesn't express serious interest in her beyond that. Any interactions between the two of them that are meant to have subtext always come across as forced and lack chemistry.

Since my last post, I have reconsidered my opinion of Stacy. yeah, sure, she's *horrible* for what she did, but AS A CHARACTER she created soem really watchable drama. Without her, we would be stuck watching the same monotonous storyline play out each week of case after case. She brought some reality and humanness (?) to the show. We could relate to a heartbroken and pining House or the undecided, confused in-love-with-two-people Stacy. Otherwise, the show would get boring to watch. Though we say we strongly dislike her, but if she hadn't come along, then we'd have nothing to discuss. She bring an interesting twist to everything, and that is probably why the writers created her.

Nope, definitely mean losing the post. Some sites have this thing where you can hit the back button, and it's mostly all there, from where ever it saved it...but fanfic does not. That is irritating.

Changing your mind is a sign of growing up. Or something. ;) (Sorry, I know you hate smileys.)

Since I really want to reply again, I think I should mention Stacy at least somewhere in this post.

They've updated quite a bit recently, I'm impressed. Especially how it tells you, now, the characters that the author has selected to represent the story. Normally I'm left guessing what the pairing is, even after it's finished. I hate that.

So I read through all the posts, and decided I don't have anything to say about Stacy any more. She's old news. (I don't like it when people only hate Stacy because she provides competition for Cameron. But that's all I have to say.)

well, it technically wasn't House's fault for being so ignorant and grumpy. Since his father was abusing him, House probably just became mean and stuff to hide his feelings. Its a typical abuse relationship/emotion thing. He maybe doesn't want anyone to see that he's weak. Especially his father.

Wow I never knew people liked Stacy. They must be crazy! I swear whenever I first seen her and I was like "Hoe." and I said that out loud. I mean seriously she is! She has a husband then she goes and sleeps with House after all that and did I mention she's married! Man I swear she like totally ruined House's life then she comes back after five years and what does she do? SHE MESSES IT UP AGAIN! Gah! How can someone like her! WHO!
