He probably used to believe most things and it got him hurt, he strikes me as naturally niave but life has made him defensive. Although that theory seems inconsistant since he aways tries to help. I'm very tired amd hungrey.

You're probably right. And that's so sad. It's terrible when such a sweet person gets disillusioned. Because it's partly his illusions that make him so cute.

Reality is a cruel mistress. I think that might be why he started using in the first place. In the vain hope of keeping his dreams alive.

Well his whole world was breaking down around him when he bagan using. His band and family was being torn apart by the person he always trusted and thought would take care of him, his own brother. See no matter how annoying he is I think of the scene when he first started and I just fall back in love with him.

I still don't get it, really. Why didn't he just leave like he said he would. Even if his brother didn't come with him, he could have left by himself. And then he wouldn't be in this mess.

Either he would've felt guilty or he was afraid of being nothing, like Liam said he would. I mean on the island he's proved that he hates to be useless, of course that reulted in a cave in lol.

I think you're right on with both of those. I also think there's a third element to that. Charlie isn't a very independant person. He's a born follower. He hates doing things alone. I think that may be another reason why he didn't leave the band on his own.

I agree with that, like when Jack was caved in micheal runs off to the caves and rather than achually trying to find Kate Charie just sort of hovers around saying "someones got to tell Kate" until Sawyer saves him lol. But I think that if someone trusted him to do something important, alone he's appreciae their faith.

I agree with that. He would appreciate the faith, even though there's a good chance he'll fail at whatever they ask him to do. He loves to be needed.

I think that was an accident. If Charlie had planned that, then I would be impressed. But it just sort of happened. I still love Charlie though.

Jack talked him through that. Charlie was panicking. If Jack hadn't calmed him down, he would have been useless. But the whole thing was really fun to watch. So I forgive him.

He's helping Eko, with wateva the hell he's building (I htink it's a church becasue he's Eko, 'nuff said)that's an extra reason to like Eko although I liked him anyway. He's so trusting and doesn't look down on anyone. BTW am I like the only Eko/Ano shipper out here??

In a few weeks, season 3 is starting. So yeah, we know what happened to Michael over here. I still can't believe he... Well, I shouldn't say. I don't want to spoil it.

WEll I have a feeling that the boat isnt gonna be that helpful towardds a rescue. I heard we're finally gonna get to find out where the hell desmond went. The teaser was amazing. Then E4 tells us we gotta wait 2 weks to see it!!!!

I agree muchly

Kate the fugitive, Sawyer the con-man, and Jack, the doctor Do-Right.

Here's my back-up stuff to tell y'all why I'm a Skater (BTW: you might wanna get a blanket, pillow, food and water cause i might go on forever

#1: Skate and Jate is the same. Skate = Sawyer and Kate, Jate = James and Kate

#2: Kate doesn't trust Sawyer, and he doesn't trust her. But they trust each other for who they are. Jack would have to trust Kate to have a relationship with her. Sawyer and Kae don't need the trust. (Was I rambling there? Did it make any sence at all, cause it did to me)

#3: Who wouldn't want Sawyer? I mean, no offence to Matthew or anyone else but...ewww, chest hair. I mean, not that he takes off his shirt a lot like Sawyer does, but...*shudder*

#4: Kate could spend all day in Sawyer's arms, feeling safe and protected. Jack would run off every two seconds trying to save everyone like a good doctor should.

#5: Skate got the first kiss! (season 1)

#6: Skate got the first haircut (season 2)

#7: Kate makes Sawyer feel loved (not actually mentioned but I thought it was true)

#8: They said they loved each other (season 3)

#9: They are gianormasly cute together

#10: She was worried about him when the polar bear came (remember season 1)

#11: She threw a banana at him (season 2)

#12: He untied after Tom pushed her out while Jack yelled at Tom. Jack could've untied her WHILE yelling at him. (remember season 2)

#13: She said his name first (season 3)

#14: She tried to find his message in the bottle (season 2)

#15: They looked for each other before the raft left (season 1)

I do have more but it's.........2 in the morning and I am tired

hahaha let me write a list of SEASON 2 reasons!! :D:D this is ONLY 1 season as well...jaters eat your hearts out!

1)Kate looks after Sawyer when he is ill.

2)Sawyer trusts kate enough to take the tablet off of her when he wouldn't take it when the doc asked.

3)Sawyer mumbled that he loved her.

4)They both see the black horse (significant to kate)

5)The haircut!

6)Kate gets all upset when she can't find Sawyers message in the bottle

7)Kate was sad that she "didn't get to say goodbye"

8)Kate throws a banana at him!

9)Sawyer untied kate while jack stood there yelling.

10)Kate teases Sawyer about his glasses.

11)Sawyer hugs Kate when she is crying about libby and ana lucia dying.

12)Kate feeds Sawyer like a baby wen he is ill.

the list could go on and on!! and that is one season!
