Topic: Season 3 Stuff
Hey guys. Glad to see the forum being active :D

Anyhoo. Spoilers/predictions/hopes for S3 can go here. Be sure to warn people if you're gonna post any spoilers, though ;)

(SPOILER WARNING) - As such :D

So... I've heard that during the first block of episodes (Lost is running in "blocks" of 5-6 episodes nonstop with month-long breaks between since the way they ran new episodes with reruns all the time last season was annoying) is going to deal mainly with the J/K/S hostage situation and that Kate will "make her choice" during this first block. The writers have gone on record with this, so any thoughts on who she'll pick (not just who you HOPE she'll pick), why, and what it can mean for Skate in the future? :D

I heard about that change in the schedule a while back. I was told that they were going to show one black before hiatus and then all the others without a break for the rest of the season.

I think just about anything could happen. What I think is most likely to happen is for Kate to tell the guys she's going to decide soon and then eventually choose Sawyer. I think that's the most likely outcome at this point. But like I said, anything could happen.

Id hope she will pick Sawyer, but i really dont know. I think she likes Sawyer more, but has been let down by too many people like him, whereas she feels she can trust Jack to take care of her and keep her safe. But i really fo think she like Sawyer more. Hope she picks Sawyer!

Have you guys ever thought a bit more deeply about that incident with Wayne's ghost? I found myself thinking about it this morning. Why did Wayne choose Sawyer to deliver his message? And why at that precise moment? There were other opportunities to do the same thing. When Charlie almost died, when Sayid came back from Danielle's place injured and raving, when Jack was drugged and sleepy. Even when Sawyer got stabbed and was in and out of conciousness. Kate was there for all of that. Why didn't Wayne take any of those chances to ask her his question? And why would he ask the question "Why did you kill me?" and then leave Sawyer's body when she was about to answer? Could it be that he did it that way for a specific reason? My theory is that he saw that she was conflicted and gave her a push in the right direction. He disappeared right then because he wanted Sawyer to hear her answer. He used his abilities as a spirit to get her to open up to Sawyer. Let's not forget that the black horse which presumably represents Wayne is the only spirit vision that's been shared between two people. Could it be that Wayne ALLOWED Sawyer to see him? It seems like Wayne is trying to bring Kate and Sawyer closer. Despite his degredation in life, he seems to have been a positive force in Kate's life after his death. I think that's awesome.
