Akira, when you see in the flashbacks he's not blind. So does anyone know what happened? Why does no one in either the manga or the anime look surprised by the fact that he's blind? Someone explain.

that he asked Akari to do something to his eyes. I think it was said that he had his eyes gouged out... but, I'm not too sure...

Still, it's better than my pathetic explanation. ^_^

My original explanation was that he got into a fight and got sliced in the face. (but, there's not any scars so that explanation is impossible...)

I can't wait until july or August, the last volume is coming out with extras... (going to buy from Sasuga when they get it in...) Want to listen to Samurai Gakuen but have to wait a while...

He opens his eyes for the first time later in the manga in a fight w/ Tokito of the four emperors. HE has really BIG eyes-its kinda odd.

I'm gonna take this oppurtunity also to say that kyo, shinrei and hotaru are my favorites.

Anywho I absolutly love Yukimura Sanada...he's is brilliant! not to mention absolutly adorable and deadly *_^

But Akira, Sasuke, Shinrei, Hotaru, and yes, Yukimura kick **!

I know that the mibu are way out of her league and all, and I do like her, but I do think shes gotta be able to do something more then continuesly yell out 'kyo!' or 'nooooooo!' all the time.

Honestly, I think that Saisei was awesome. A female that can actually hold her own (mahiro doesn't really count.) That and the fact she was based on Tomoe Gozen.

I like Hotaru, he's so out of it, heh heh

i have read all but one book and that was when nobunaga took over her brothers body.....man i want that book so bad.

yuya i liked, but like people above said.. she kinda gets tiresome.. always pulling out her revolver, and never actually shooting...except once...

kyo is cool :) i like the way his character changes.. from uncaring to a little caring.. especially in the last few episodes, where he actually is concerned for sasuke... his doing the same move all the time gets kinda tiresome though
