Topic: MSB Crossovers

Instead of bogging down other threads with crossovers, I figured let's have a thread for them. I'm fine with them. I'd start, but I'm not into the Harry Potter fandom thing, and I think that's exactly where this will go.

That said, discuss crossovers!

Ralphie is so Mac from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." DA must be Dee because she's blonde and tries to rely on her learnings.

I see your Sunny crossover and raise you Arnold = Charlie. See Arnold in "In a Pickle," objecting all over the place. Compare to Charlie in "Mac is a Serial Killer," going "Law & Order" all over everyone's... yeah.

I don't usually have good reasons for drawing crossovers... my latest one I'm so ashamed of that I haven't even scanned it yet... anyone here firefly/serenity fans? lol! yeah... no good excuse on that one except MsFrizzle amuses me as being Book... (the reason I came up with the idea in the first place was to have Keesha as Zoe and Ralphie as Wash.... yeah, stupid, I know).

soo.... DA=Hermione=Lily=SamCarter(SG1)... and Carlos=Ron=James=JackONeil...? hehe (I started a new picture with these in mind, but I think I'll have to leave L/J out, it's too rediculous as it is...

I've been wanting to see Serenity, and I thought Firefly was pretty interesting show, but sadly, I didn't get into it.

Going back to Dallas, Arnold would so want the Bobby Ewing hair helmet (considering he already kind of had the Patrick-Duffy-80's-hair-helmet):

MSB gals and disney princesses! Yeah, I went there. :p

Phoebe = Snow White

Because they both love animals, are sweet, are romantics, are good housewives (okay, this one's PC..), and are kind to everyone. And Phoebe'd feel sorry for the "poor old woman" too and would let her in her home.

Dorothy Ann = Belle

Well, they both love books, duh. And I also don't see DA as falling for the gaston type - she needs intelligence.

Wanda = Mulan

Okay, NOT because of the whole "they're both asian" thing. Because they both kick ass, and their loved ones (be it friend or family) are the most important things to them (Wanda not going to the ballet she's been waiting for all year so that she can spend time with Arnold and make him happy). I can also see Wanda with a bit of Megara and Ariel in her. The rebel/spunky gal.

Keesha = Megara

This one was hard. But they're both kind of sarcastic and down to earth.

Well, most of the disney princes lack any sort of personality.. save for a few. i could see Carlos as aladdin, hehe. I could also sort of see Ralphie as hercules... and hey, with Keesha as Megara... ;)

There's definitely less of a choice with the guys..

I see Arnold as Milo Thatch from Atlantis--except I don't know if Arnold would rent a billion dollar submarine to go search for a mythic city. ^_~

Hmm...Prince of Egypt. I see Ralphie and Carlos as young Moses and Rameses (due to the mischievous nature of each brother), Phoebe as Miriam (because she gets passionate about things), and Arnold as Aaron (as the movie portrays him). I don't know who would make a better Zipporah; Keesha or Wanda.

In Pocahontas, Liz would have to play Meeko. They're just so alike.

lol! well, for now, I just wanna call Megara/Keesha :P and Arnold/Milo too :) I guess if I get those done and no one else has done any others I can do more, hehe.

(contemplates my screenname) lol, I should get my sister RogueDragon to help but she doesn't draw as much anymore. I wonder if I should ask her if I can change the screenname to "Nebulan and RogueDragon" but it is her account... I'm just stealing it to post on this forum, hehe

oh yeah, I thought we were doing Ralphie as Buzz Lightyear, I confess I like the idea of doing all of them from different movies. Which would involve either DA or Janet not being from Beauty and the Beast... just a thought *shrug*

I see Ralphie more as Buzz Lightyear mainly because they both thought they were superheroes at one point (and finally confessed that they were not). They're both chubby, they have the best lines, and they're both incredibly cute. =D

I confess I like the idea of doing all of them from different movies. Which would involve either DA or Janet not being from Beauty and the Beast... just a thought *shrug*

Let me have a quick moment:

In the film Brainy and the Bog Beast, Dorothy Belle falls in love with Robbie Benson, but the evil Jastonet is in love with D.B. (zomg slash!) and wants to kill Mr. Benson.

Riiight! i forgot we'd decided Ralphie as Buzz lightyear. It totally works, for all the reasons you stated. :D

Okay, and um, *cough* msb/arthur! (okay, it HAD to be done)

Arthur = Arnold

Francine = Wanda

Brain = DA (or Carlos - with the inventing aspect)

Buster = Ralphie - cause they both eat a lot (so does arnold, but he's more arthur...)

Fern = Phoebe

DW = Janet

And hmmm... I don't know about the rest... I can't remember all of the arthur characters...

And i want to organize my msb/hp crossovers too, so here:

DA = Hermione

Carlos = James/Ron

Arnold = Neville

Wanda = Ginny (older ginny)

Tim = Dean Thomas

Phoebe = hmmm... Hermione with the spew thing... other than that, i don't know...

Keesha = has Hermione's practical side, I also see a bit of Lily in her..

Ralphie = another hard one.. Maybe... Oliver Wood? they're both jocks who are obsessed with sports :p And I'm sure Ralphie can get very competitive

Janet COULD play Francine. After all, by implication, Janet is Jewish, which matches Francine's heritage. Although personality wise, Wanda is more like Francine than Janet is. Francine does have her "Janet" moments, though.

There was one point in each series when each class was convinced their teacher was a vampire. But Mr. Ratburn isn't a whole lot like the Friz as far as personality goes.

Harry Arm could be Binky. Do you think he has a baby sister adopted from China?

I guess Keesha's the only one left to be Sue Ellen. How many countries has Keesha been to?

Tim could be George, I suppose. George just wouldn't be as shy.

Liz as Pal, William as baby Kate.

I haven't read the chapter book where this character is mentioned, but...Zil as Nemo.

Speaking of Dallas, I know some of you were either born after it ended, never heard of it, or never watched it, but I'm a huge Dallas fan and can't help but draw parallels:

Arnold = Bobby James Ewing

Both were/are playboys (Bobby had Jenna Wade, Pam, and April Stevens; Arnold had Tiffany, Wanda, Phoebe, and D.A.), have fluffy hair helmets, and are the trusting nice guys. Both also feel very obligated to their friends and family.

Phoebe = Pamela Barnes Ewing

Both grew up with just their dad (I make this assumption since we never officially see Mrs. Terese in canon), both are very maternal, and they...have the same hair color.

Dorothy Ann = Sue Ellen Shepard Ewing

Both have two names, both strive to be the best, and both are stubborn.

Carlos = John Ross "J.R." Ewing, Jr.

Both can be controlling, both want the best, and both are competitive.

Tim = Ray Krebbs (Ewing)

Ray, the ranch foreman for the Ewings (until it's later found out he's Jock Ewing's son, but he still runs Southfork), had his bad luck with the women. He had Pam who left him for Bobby, Garnett McGee who used him, Sue Ellen who also used him, but then he met Donna Culver, who he married. I see Tim not having his luck with the women until he and Janet get together and realize that they actually have a pretty good relationship.

Wanda = Lucy Ewing Cooper

Both are short, fiery, headstrong, and can be thickheaded.

Ralphie = Cliff Barnes

Both grew up with one parent (again, making this assumption because we never see Mr. Tennelli), and both like to picture themselves larger than life.

Keesha = Afton Cooper

Both seem to like keeping their men in their places, whether it's Afton keeping Cliff's ego from growing or...Keesha keeping Ralphie's ego from growing (ie- Ralphiebot incident).

Janet = Donna Culver Krebbs

I see Janet as the more conniving and meaner Donna. Both are smart, and I always got the impression things came easy to Janet, kinda like with Donna.

So I don't know if any of you heard of or seen the 1980 classic Nine to Five (starring Jane Fonda as Judy, Lily Tomlin (aka- the Friz) as Violet, and Dolly Parton (aka- Katrina Eloise "Murph" Murphy) as Doralee), but it's one of my most favorite movies, and the three main characters I realize remind me of three of the MSB gals.

Phoebe = Judy Bernly:

Both are the new girls, be it to Walkerville Elementary or Consolidated Companies, and both are somewhat naive. Judy didn't like the deer's head in her boss Mr. Hart's office, as I'm quite sure Phoebe wouldn't like either.

Keesha = Violet Newstead:

Both are the strong, independent types that befriend the new girl (I can see Keesha becoming Phoebe's first friend when she first comes to the Friz's class).

Dorothy Ann = Doralee Rhodes:

Doralee in personality isn't really like any of the girls, but her "D" name and blonde hair put her closer to D.A. than Wanda.

And since I'm on a 1980's classic roll, I'm also going to put it out there. MSB girls = The Golden Girls:

Despite both being named "Dorothy", both Dorothys are the "smart ones", and they tend to be the most sensible.

Phoebe = Rose Nylund:

Both are the sweet natured animal lovers, but I don't see Phoebe quite as artarded as Rose.

Wanda = Blanche Deveraux:

Both are self-centered and somewhat selfish, and I can see Wanda becoming somewhat of a slut when older. Maybe not as bad as Blanche, though.

Keesha = Sophia Petrillo:

Both are the quick witted sarcastic ones, and I can see the girls coming to Keesha for advice, like Dorothy, Rose, and Blanche tend to go to Sophia.

So I'm just about finished with Arnold/Milo and Keesha/Megara... (I was surprised how much I got done on the two in a couple classes yesterday...)

Is anyone else gonna draw some of the MSB/Disney crossovers? come on Melon, you know you want to! ;P How I've been doing them is using coloring book pages as a reference (I didn't trace, tho that is one way to do it, lol!) (seriously, google "disney coloring" there's a ton out there! here's some:

I've lionized everyone in the class except Liz (who is already an African animal). The link to see my first (colored) drawing is under the fanart topic. It's Ralphie and Keesha. Eventually, when I have finished coloring them, the others will appear in the following pairs: Carlos and DA, Arnold and Phoebe, Tim and Wanda, and the Friz. I did it that way because I know everyone's favorite couples; I figured you'd be happy.

So that's what I've done with Disney crossovers. Ralphie looks like Kopa with a red hat.

What I love even more is that Arnold used karate, and Phoebe is in karate class in The Magic School Bus and the Electric Field Trip. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia validating my ship in HILARIOUS ways makes me giggle. :D

Anyway, speaking of "Day Man", in the episde Charlie and Dennis write the song and makes a glam rock duo called "Electric Dream Machine". Wanda and DA do the same:

(these really do work, I promise, Keller is the kind doctor, i can see her as Phoebe, Vala, while not looking asian at all, acts a lot like Wanda in that she's always pestering Daniel(Arnold), usually by trying to seduce him, lol! Daniel is Arnold like Milo is Arnold, becuase Daniel is Milo (lol, take my word for it). Rodney is nothing like Ralphie, actually, Rodney's really grumpy, but I *loves* him. Adien works very well for Tim becuase he's also the most underdeveloped character... ever. John is Carlos, he's the one who's always trying to make a joke. Teyla and Keesha are nothing alike, but I'm convinced the voice actor for Keesha is the real life sister of the actress for Teyla. and Sam is DA, like DA is Hermione and Hermione is Sam, lol!)

Daniel is Arnold like Milo is Arnold, becuase Daniel is Milo (lol, take my word for it).

I've never seen Stargate or even know who Milo is, but I'll take your word for it. :D Awesome banner.

"Fluffy haired" goes for both, "forbidden" for B/P, and "nerdy" for my Daywalkers. Plus, I love how Bobby's brother hates Pam, and Arnold's cousin doesn't seem to take to kindly to Phoebe.

Like I said earlier, my Dallas OTP, Bobby/Pam, reminds me a lot of A/P...okay, more like A/P reminds me of Bobby/Pam (seeing as Bobby/Pam came first in 1978, nine years before Arnold and Phoebe). Bobby and Arnold are both the trusting nice guys, both devoted to their friends and family, slight playboys (well, Bobby was before he married Pam), and both have fluffy hair. Pam and Phoebe both grew up with just their dad (again, like I said before, making this assumption since Mrs. T was never officially seen in canon), both are maternal, supportive, and somewhat feminist (and I can easily see Phoebe going crazy like Pam did if she couldn't have children).

I've never seen Stargate or even know who Milo is, but I'll take your word for it. :D Awesome banner.

lol, thanks for looking at it, even tho you don't know Stargate. Milo as in Disney's Atlantis, the guy we decided above for Arnold's Disney crossover. I could make a threeway crossover easily with Milo/Daniel/Arnold, I promise ;)

I'm not familiar with Dallas, but I like your banner too (hehe) :D
