my favorite A/P moment(s):

1. The "Gee, what a guy!" moment in "The Busuasaurs" when Arnold gets all gung-ho on getting that egg back for Dr. Skeledon, and we see the rarely seen brave!Arnold. I love that we also see Phoebe's growing crush on him.

2. The "I look like a pumpkin pie!" moment in "Goes Cellular" when Phoebe puts flour on Arnold's face to hide the orange, and after he says the line, she giggles. It's cute.

3. The moment in "Gets Swamped" when Arnold stands up for Phoebe against Janet when the class is trying to move the giant, fallen tree.

4. The moment in "In the Arctic" when Phoebe slips on the ice and Arnold picks her up.

5. The "Arnold, you're a genius!" moment in "Spins a Web" when Arnold's cutting Phoebe out of her own web.

6. The "Well, Phoebe, it's looks as if you have a TAIL to tell" in "In the City" when Phoebe pulls Arnold out of the shed by his tail when they're foxes.

I have too many moments. Pretty sure that's not all of them.

1. When they're arguing after the volcano episode about what to name the island, and they're argument consists of "Let's name it the Carlos and D.A island" " D.A and Carlos." " CARLOS and D.A!" "D.A and Carlos!" and on and on and on.

2. The same episode, and Carlos is reading out of D.A's books, and Arnold is staring at him, and in Arnold's imagination Carlos all of a sudden gets D.A's blonde hair and pigtails."

3. After that color/light videogame episode, Carlos hugs D.A and then they argue about violet. vs. purple.

4. At the end of the haunted house episode, D.A hugs Carlos after his crazy instrument didn't ruin the concert. Anyone else seeing a trend???

5. That part in the theme song where they all get catapulted into the bus, and Carlos and D.A end up in the same seat. Don't ask me why.

Well, that was fun.

At least we know what the Ramone kids would look like. XD

Which makes me remember another favorite A/P moment in the theme song when they're rafting on the river of lava and Arnold grabs hold of Phoebe.

Carlos also hugs her in the cooking/chemistry one. "DA, you really are an amazing chemist!" *hugs* "Gee, thanks..." - or something along those lines.

In "Goes on Air", when they're rolling up the glove of air, Dorothy Ann and Carlos are working together, and D.A. says, "rolling up the ring finger."

one can *never* read too far into a fandom. ;D (slightly straying from C/DA, but...) can we say, the moment in "gains weight" when phoebe, who is sitting next to arnold says "if only i could just do it once, just to see what it feels like"? THE SHOW IS LIKE FULL OF INNUENDO.

Carlos: I get it! The spider hides under the ground until he spies something juicy and - gotch ya! *grabs DA's ankle*

Arnold's imagination: "Wanda would be so impressed..." *Arnold sitting on jars and jars of olives, Wanda rushed up to him, jumps on top of him and throws her arms around him - "Oh Arnold!"

in "goes to seed", arnold falls down a pollen tube when the class is on the "female" part of phoebe's flower, and phoebe jumped in after him, the two alone for a moment at the bottom of the tube...OMG, MY MIND IS DIRTY.

It's for all the teachers who show the videos to their kids, so they don't get bored to death.

Ditto about all those previous innuendos/favorite OTP moments... I jealously horde every single time Carlos and D.A even STAND next to each other, let alone touch each other or interact somehow.

Or the college kids who still watch it. XD

Ever notice that Tim is so often positioned next to DA? ...damn him... Carlos and DA don't sit together nearly as often as they should.. :p

Also, was it just me or in the Busasaurus episode, when the T-Rex was attacking the bus, was Carlos hugging Pheobe? Or kind of had his arm over her protectively ...damn that... *grumbles*

Oh, and during the For Lunch episode, Carlos leaps up and grabs Wanda's hand to stop her flying over the bus, and then she falls into his arms. I remember getting all hot and bothered watching that.

Concerning fanart... can any of you draw?? I'm okay at drawing, much better with cartoons than I am with real people, though I need to have something in front of me that I can go off of, and I'm much better at drawing girls than boys... in any case, I don't have that much to offer, but it's better than nothing... unless of course anyone here is an amazing artist, than by all means go right ahead and go crazy with the idea..

I have a question about the "get's eaten" episode which i haven't seen for ages:

I remember Keesha and Arnold were project partners, but how were the other kids paired up?

Ralphie and Phoebe, Tim and Wanda, and...that's right, Carlos and Dorothy Ann :D

don't kid yourselves, I have every ep (sans chickens) on tape/DVD. XD

- During the "DA/Carlos! Carlos/DA!" argument on the boat, Ms. Frizzle says, "Unlike the earth, some things never change."

and

- While DA/Carlos are fighting over what's colour and light (love the whole argument btw!), and someone says, "Uh oh, this could get ugly..."

Both quotes strengthen the fact that these two are always seen bickering with each other. ;)

And also in the chemistry one, Carlos is assigning jobs for everyone, (Pheobe get the butter, Ralphie the eggs, etc..) and he doesn't make Dorothy Ann get anything, just tells her to watch out for ms. frizzle, but he gives her more time to experiment with chemistry which is what she'd rather be doing - other than flirting with Carlos of course :p

Ditto about the color light argument, that's one of my favorite C/DA episodes!

Do you have, like, every single big C/DA episode????? I only remember the really big stuff that jumped out at me, but you've got all the subtle nuances down! It's totally cool, because I haven't seen a lot of the episodes in a while, so I can feed off what you say.

And when it come to C/DA, of course i remember all the subtle little details! :p

My ultimate favorite one is the Magic School Bus "Blows Its Top!"... I don't think they have that one on DVD, do they?? If I don't, I need to get my hands on a copy, because soon or later they will stop making videos because everyone uses DVD's now, and if I never get to see that episode again, I will die of sadness, because that is a BEAUTIFUL C/DA episode.

No, sadly, it's not. D: I have it on a tape from 1995 when I was in the third grade. I used to tape the episodes, and I still have them. The great thing, IMO, is that "Blows Its Top" is the first ep of the second season. A C/DA heavy episode. The second episode is "Flexes Its Muscles". A R/K heavy episode. And the third is "The Busasaurus". An A/P heavy episode (and, IMO, *the* A/P shipper's episode). Season two was excellent, I must say. ;D

- Butterfly And The Bog Beast (he's the only one not to disagree with "butterflies" and asks for all in favor of the mascot name)

- In The Arctic (he picks her up when she slips on the ice)

- Spins A Web (he cuts her from a web; she calls him a genius)

- Gets Planted (he gives her a mallowblaster)

- Holiday Special (she's excited to see him when he first comes in the class; there's an across-the-room smile)

- Gets Swamped (he joins her in disagreeing with janet; he stands up to janet for her)

- Goes Cellular ("what's the difference between my skin and say, phoebe's?)

Well, to be fair, they WERE learning about how plants reproduce (of course you're going to find innuendo in something like that) and then the whole class jumps in after them. And then wouldn't the bus pushing in Carlos have some sort of innuendo too :p owned... lol

Didn't Tim free her and Keesha from the web? I remember him jumping up to save the day twice in that episode, I found Heroic!Tim very amusing... seeing is how he usually never does much :p

i tend to notice he'll stand up to janet in some way to defend phoebe, even in small ways...

Later on when she made her own web to trap the general that kidnapped Liz. She wrapped herself up in it, and the next scene is Arnold cutting it off of her saying "Don't feel bad, Phoebe; only a real spider could trap that general".

Alas in the end she doesn't because arnold(or at least i think it was arnold) said they needed her to stay on the bus... *sigh* another opportunity for more C/DA shippiness wasted... :p

- In the Haunted House, when Carlos falls down the elevator shaft, it's DA that yells, "Carlos! Are you alright?!" and then when Arnold says, "Well if they tortue you, don't tell them anything!" DA at that moment frowns at Arnold angrily.
