Topic: Weapon Master

This is a topic about the Wepaon Master mode in SC2. Talk about where you are, what your rank is, and the mode's pros and cons. Basically, anything about Weapon Master.

I haven't played SC2 for a while (caught up in SC3), but I can recall I'm a Platinum Edgemaster and has completed all missions (normal and Extra). Also gotten every weapon in the game, but somehow, there are still blanks present in my "Collection" in the options menu.

I forgot what Lv I am, around 40 of 50 I think. I beat normal mode, but some of these extras are hard

Yeah, but eventually you'll get the hang of it. Anyway, have you played the dungeon where you fight every single SC character?

I thinks so... maybe, I fought the ones that were full of Berserkers, the one filled with women, and I fought one that had every character but, if I didn't beat them and returned to the same square as I did before, a different person appeared.

Yeah, but in the end, you'll fight all of them. I think it was the Hero's/Swordsman's Grave. Anyway, I like to abuse one move in long, boring dungeons like that: Nightmare's Sky Splitter. It's diagonally down-right B (I don't understand fighting game lingo), then just press B again when he gets into stance. It's so abuse-able.

BTW, it seems we're the only people here. I wonder if Dr. Facer/Fabian Cruz plays SC2...

I beat the game ALMOST once as a Platinum Edgemaster, but then restarted the game because I couldn't unlock Lizardman. Currently I'm a Gold Edgemaster and have beaten all normal and extra stages using a combination of Taki, Talim and Kilik, but mostly Talim. I've still got blanks in my collection, but I'm working on that!

I abused Ice Wind and Cold Wind in Hero/Swordsman's Grave. Actually...I did that in all of the dungeons. 0_0U

Ice Wind and Cold Wind? Wow, you lost me. All I know is that most of Talim's attacks are in Tagalog (Sipa means Kick, Espada means Sword, Kamay means Hand, etc.) because she's Filipino. Probably those terms were tabbed by the GameFAQS.com denizens, I dunno.

For me, I abuse Nightmare's Sky Splitter in the dungeons. Repeatedly doing the move, and following with pressing B, cleans out most opponents in 5 seconds max.

Ice Wind and Cold Wind are strong Talim attacks. Ice Wind is A+B, and Cold Wind is B+K.

wow... you seriously can't play videogames... because of gender? That is one stupid decision. No offense to your mum, Talim18.

I only use a fewa attacks with Talim. She's not really my best character. I'm more accustomed to Siegfried/Nightmare, Kilik, and especially Raphael.

geez, what's with people and using video games to discrimiate? Gender, age, heigth, IQ (with some execptions), Social class have nothig to do with the gameing world damn it. VIDEO GAMES FOR ALL! AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!!!

Okay, that was really random...No offense, really.

Well, I beat Weapon Master mode. Every mission and every extra mission, I think I was a platinum master when I did. I bought just about everything, but I'm still missing some things.

How I did it, you ask? Well, that's for a later time.

I beat it, and I just kept playing on one file after I finished I just kept doing stuff and I'm Grand Edgemaster of the Furies. And have everything. What are you missing though?

You guys start a Weapon Master forum and compete in lvls?

Lol... well i'm going to make a Weapon Master story... hope it isn't too bad.

But on another note- the only villain in the entire SC series who's reason for being a villain wasn't explained is Veral. Anyone have any thoughs on why he became the Knight of Soul Edge?

The highest level I reached(or the highest you can reach) is Grand Edgemaster of the Basilisk, which is after Platnium Edgemaster. It took a very long time for me to get that far!!

I'm on Level 83 or 84 at the mo :) And I've unlocked the bonus weapons (e.g. 'A Child Sword' for Yun Sung and so on.)
