Okay I need help for characterization for AntiCosmo. In our fic Jorgen has exiled him (and AntiWanda) to Earth with minimal magic and he lands the two of them jobs as child caretakers(maybe because of an unconscious interest in godparenting?)This is an AU cast (AU to our characters) The story’s atmosphere gets a little darker probably a T rating to be safe.

The family is:

Melanie and Elliott Stryke-Both divorced and remarried.Met at a domestic violence support group.They each have a child from a pervious marriage and their toddler son, Timmy (not Turner) ESP tendencies run in Elliott’s family

Simon –Elliott’s son.Aged 11Generally a pacifist and part of the school’s ‘weird’ group with his loyal friends Jewelyn and Rusty.He has blonde-brown hair, aqua blue eyes and somewhat tall.He’s telekinetic

Roxelle-Melanie’s daughter-Aged 8. Roxy is an albino and ‘gifted’ with telepathy.Her verbally cruel and gambling addict father and brother regard her as a ‘freak’. Roxy has a bit of trouble with calling her peers names, partly because of her father’s tendency to call her things such as rat-girl, freak, and ‘witch’.She doesn’t usually get along well with Simon

Timmy-he is the clairvoyant three year old brother. His premonitions are a source of his fear of sleeping alone.He clings on to his pacifier and talks through it when he has to.He also has some underlying empathy and tends to get over stimulated at public places (as well as Roxy) (His clairvoyance will eventually fade when he hits preteen years and his empathy will be more pronounced) He tends to point and make noises when he wants something and then start crying when people don’t understand.He occasionally likes to have things done for him (The ‘I want to be a baby’ stage). and other times he wants to touch everything and play with everything he sees.

Some time within the plot characters from their past, (such as Egan Dryden Roxy’s father) come back as well as characters related to them (Blade, Simon’s cousin).

We need some help with some situations and instead of asking one person we thought we’d ask a small variety of people.

1.)Discipline issues?How would AntiCosmo handle certain things, such as the fights between Roxy and Simon, and Roxy’s temper and tendency to call other kids names when she gets upset?Timmy’s temper tantrums?Simon’s habit of hurling small objects at his wall and slamming the door on his little brother when he wants in?Fights between the kids in general?How strict would he be with varying issues?

2.)How about Blade’s antagonism.Blade sometimes shows up uninvited at the house?He’s flirtatious and teasing towards Roxy and brags about being able to French Kiss.As well as teasing Timmy about his size.(Note: Blade isn’t all bad, like Simon he has family issues showing just how evil Simon’s mother is to all of the family except her favorites.He also has an underlying reason for avoiding home).As for AntiWanda ,I can just see her repeatedly telling Blade to go to his own house)Also Blade, being British, knows a lot ofEnglish slang that AntiCosmo would be familiar with(calling Simon ‘Queen Stryke’ )

3.)Later in the story as AntiCosmo is brushing Roxy’s hair (sounds like it will be hilarious at first) she quietly asks him if she is a freak.When he asks why she explains about her brother going to Simon’s school.(Note: Mel hasn’t gone into detail about the nature of Mr. Dryden’s antagonism, just noting that there were irreconcilable differences)

4.)The parents leave a shopping list and money and AntiCosmo usually takes AntiWanda with him, but she has volunteered to drive the kids to school.So AntiCosmo winds up with three –year-old Timmy at the grocery store.Timmy is not usually good and public places and tends to withdrawl from strangers.He’s also a curious kid.(It’s just funny to imagine a scene with AntiCosmo trying to get through a store like Sam’s or BJ’s with him.) I can see a few temper tantrums coming.

5.)Simon’s escalating withdrawl from people and bizarre, depressive behavior.Teachers begin to send letters expressing concern over Simon (Remember that both used to live with antagonistic parents Roxy strikes out angrily while Simon withdrawals in episodes of self hate).The climax of this occurs when after a bad days AntiWanda notices him packing a suitcase in an attempt to run away.Simon claims he doesn’t want something in his past to happen again.

Any ideas?

But for your questons asked I only have an answer For number 5

When you have Simon beating himself up I would advise not having it to suicidle if you wish to have it be T rating standards. For you see If it is M every computer that's hooked up to fanfiction sets the defaultat K+-T and not many people know that you can chage the setting so your story would not gian a lot of popularity. As far as him runnign away and kepping it misterious is good. A great way to keep readers going. but, alas, you have to tell them that mysterious thing or they get angry and so will you. that's all I gots to say bout it.

Okay. well basically Simon feels he will become like his sociopathic brother Dex (who's with his mom) and he tells AntiCosmo he's running away because he's afraid of hurting Roxy and Timmy the way Dex hurt him. He claims it's better that he just goes away to let them live their life. AntiCosmo could disagree with him and point out the Simon's perfectly normal and Roxy needs protection from her biological sibling. Could you help me (preferebly with an exceprt or example of how AntiCosmo could argue this?) any ideas for number 4?
