Sometimes I just need crack!fic, especially with Rikkai in it, to make up for all the angst I usually read), many many more.

Random things (the nature of the fangirl):

- I cannot stand the main characters in Prince of Tennis. As a result, I can usually be found eyeing up Hyoutei and Rikkai, and trying to pretend most of Seigaku doesn't exist. I liked the golden pair once, but I think I overdosed on the cute.

- I ramble. I'm sure you've noticed by now.

- I once swore I would never write serious fanfiction. At least I didn't swear on my life; having to commit suicide because I wrote NiouYagyuu angst would just be embarrassing.

- Long ago, my one true fandom was Lord of the Rings, and I hated slashfic. With a passion. Hell, you can see one of my oldest fics, written when I was in my teens, still up here... it's a parody, admittedly mostly of mary sues, but also of LoTR slashfic. Uhm. I was a difficult child. Times Have Changed regarding slash, though there's a time and a place for everything.

- I will stick to my guns when it comes to the Mary Sues, however (any pauses are to reload, or to take better aim).

- I have developed an alarming tendency to write AU fanfiction for PoT, and weirded myself out by doing so, because it's not often that I actually like AU fic that much (another thing I've changed my mind on -- I used to hate it all). I keep getting the urge to apologise for writing it.

- Sometimes, I get the feeling that I have become everything I most hated five years ago. :)

-I AM A HET PoT WRITER! I thought this forum should have some het writers so here I am. hee hee. I was open to slash requests for a while, but no one took me up on it.

-I like to write RyoSaku, but I don't really read RyoSaku fic. Or PoT fic for the matter of that. I'm a very, very, VERY picky fanfiction reader.

-I get bugged by het fangirls who are adamantly NON-YAOI probably because they are homophobes. But I also get annoyed when rabid yaoi fangirls are nasty to het fangirls.

-I love hot guys so I might have strayed towards writing slash except for the fact that 1) I grew up with a gay guy friend and so whenever I think of gay guys, I think of my gay friend Nick skipping and talking about his latest boyfriend in a valley girl accent that outValleys mine. 2) I believe I have slight lesbian tendencies as I enjoy a hot girl as much as a hot guy. (Especially if that hot girl is Angelina Jolie. Woaaah nellie. Shabam she's hot. I don't blame Brad for leaving Jen; who could not resist falling for Angelina?)

Yaoi is... fun. I admit I have a soft spot for yuri from time to time as well, but not so often, simply because I don't like so many female characters in anime (Bleach is the only exception springing to mind ::grin:: ). I suppose I more or less disregard gender when it comes to pairings now. Anything goes, so long as it seems plausible.

I got in touch with my inner fangirl fairly recently. I was such a serious child, so I missed out at the time! ::evil laugh:: Making up for lost time.

I have been thinking of writing an Eiji/Oishi though. That is the only yaoi couple in PoT that I can actually visualize, and I do like Eiji and Oishi both an awful lot. hmr.

(lemons, lime, I was like, "do they mean they like lemons O.O, and so...my mind was completely corrupted at such a young age...and I'm still young O_O)

When I read my first shounen-ai fic I was like.. "Wait...boys like boys!?" Then...after a few moments I was like... "Wow...that's ... interesting..." And the next moment I was drooling over my keyboard.

I'm runningondreams, previously Triton Bloom, and I just joined this fandom about two months ago.

If you really want to know a lot about me you can visit my profile...but for here I'll just stick to Prince of Tennis stuff. I read pretty much everything (or try to), and I write mostly general character exploration fics at the moment, though I've experimented with 'married pair.' Right now I'm focusing on Tezuka, but I plan to devote time to all of the Seigaku regulars and some of their opponents as well.

My dearest wish for fanfiction is to find a convenient way to /edit/. I am willing to edit pretty much any fic (unless I'm utterly overwhelmed) and I really wish I could find someone who would actually edit for me. Thi doesn't mean betaing/ grammar stuff. I want to know about sentence fluidity, characterization, plot flow, whether events are realistic, whether a paragraph seems awkward, whether the whole idea is just stupid, etc. This is incredibly difficult to do over e-mail, but I can at least try right?

Most importantly, I have created a forum called "Evolution of a Fandom" and I would love it if people here would drop by and offer their thoughts. Its primary purpose is to discuss patterns in PoT fanfiction and to offer ideas on how to make our fandom a better (and more interesting) place to write and read. I really want to hear everyone's opinions, and it is /not/ intended to insult anyone or their fics in any way.

Random Facts:

-I enjoy stories that actually have the characters in character. That means Kaidoh not saying "Fshhh" every time he speaks, Inui not giving percents every time HE speaks, Fuji not being a pure sadistic bastard, Tezuka not being a rock, Ryoma actually having a non-snarky side and not saying "mada mada da ne" to everyone every second, Momo not stuffing his face in food, Taka not being only used to shout out random stuff with his racket in hand, Kikumaru not being completely hyper 24/7, and Oishi not freaking out like crazy over a papercut.

-I love daring new ideas that no one has ever tried before.

-I'm usually open to opinions

-Although I do like shounen-ai, I'm ok with reading RyomaSakuno and other hetero fics, but I find that Ryoma is always a bit off character on RyomaSakuno fics

-I usually spend much of my time hunting for good fics

-I USE to talk on a lot of online forums (Gaia, Neopets, etc.) but then I got banned from them from my parents ._. I'm still allowed to visit once every 6 monthes under parental supervision to keep my account active though.

-As you can notice, I have very insanely strict parents

-I skipped a grade in school and I slave over homework, tests, reports, essays, and other projects. I also procrastinate them daily by looking for fanfiction. And I do all this while still maintaining an A average in school somehow XD
