Before Danny became the halfa we all know and love, Butch Hartman had some VERY different ideas regarding how the show should be, chiefly that Danny was a fully human ghost hunter and part of a team called the "Spector Detectors."

Obviously, these and other details didn't make the final cut. But if for one reason or another (ie: a ghost capable of crossing parallel dimensions attacks), Danny, Sam, and Tucker accidentally wound up in a dimension where Butch's original ideas were reality (hereafter referred to as the "SDverse")? What would their counterparts - and those of Jack, Maddie, Jazz, Vlad, and Valerie for that matter - be like? Fairly similar? Complete opposites of the versions we know (Hel-LO blackmail fodder!)? Or something in-between? What happens after the trio arrives, and how do they get home? That's where you come in!

Things to include:

*Both versions of Danny, Sam, and Tucker are old enough to drive (at least 16, reason is below), but the events of "Phantom Planet" haven't happened. Whether or not Jack and Maddie know Danny's half-ghost at this point is up to you.

*SDverse Danny rides a motorcycle and has a pet owl, Spooky.

*SDverse Danny and Sam have a telepathic connection.

*SDverse Jack and Maddie are members of the Spector Detectors (and perhaps younger?), but not related to Danny.

Alternate suggestion: The two versions of Danny end up in each other's dimension. Confusion and wacky antics ensue (not that the latter can't happen in the first challenge as well)!

I'd love to do this! Can I? =) I knew about the motercycle, the owl, the telepathy, and the Specter Detecters, but I didn't know Jack and Maddie were part of the group. Coolie!

Yay! Sure, it's open to everybody! And I don't know if Jack and Maddie were in the original idea, let alone part of the group. I just figured they needed a place in that universe, and being part of the Spector Detectors fits them for obvious reasons. Send me a link when you've started posting the story!

I should have this up before Easter. Maybe not. I'm kind of busy at the moment. I'll tell you when I've got it up. =)

That's understandable; I said "start posting" because you didn't say whether it'd be multi-chaptered or one big one-shot. I've got a lot of unfinished projects - fanfic and otherwise - myself. I'll be waiting!
