Now, my first question will have to be, what pairings are wanted? Since my story, Love Hina: Next, is supposed to be light comedy with a dash of the dark thrown in, I'm fairly open to suggestions. Just to be safe, I included a breakdown of major characters, actual odds of unision, and a short description of how I get those odds.

Urashima Keitaro x

Narusegawa Naru - Odds: 70% - She is the promised girl of his memories, he already loves her, and

there is a pretty decent chance she loves him, too.

Maehara Shinobu - Odds: 50% - She is naive, sweet, innocent, loves Keitaro, and most importantly,

she supports him. Getting Keitaro over the 'little sister' issue is a

toughie, though.

Otohime Mutsumi - Odds: 50% - Just like Shinobu, but a bit more ditzy. And older. :D No younger

sister complex for Keitaro if he attempts this.

Urashima Kanako - Odds: 33% - She is tough, determined, and desperately in love with Keitaro. While

their 'relationship' is a bit of a trifle, they can overcome it.

Konno Mitsune - Odds: 25% - Bah. She is always trying to get into his pants. It'd be funny if a

relationship developed out of that.

Su Kaolla - Odds: 25% - Aw, who doesn't love Kaolla? Make her a tad more serious, make Keitaro

less of a target dummy, and a relationship might blossom.

Urashima Haruka - Odds: 05% - Er, no. I don't write incest flicks.

Noriyasu Seta - Odds: 05% - Er, nothing against gay people, but not my style.

Noriyasu Sara - Odds: 05% - Er, no. I don't write pedophilia flicks.

Haitani / Shirai - Odds: 02% - Geez, who would want to read about his unknown friends? See Seta.

Aoyama Motoko - Odds: 00% - Er, no. I don't write necrophilia flicks.

These are just my rough numbers, I may have forgotten a few people, which probably means they rate lower than 00% (like Hina, Kentaro, Tama-chan, etc.)

And yes, Motoko is a 00%. While I like the girl enough to consider writing a Kei-Moto, I also dislike how insanely popular that *** is. She is, imo, worse than Naru. And for all you people who say 'but Motoko is the most developed character in the series!!!!11one1!', sorry. She isn't. She is the character that Akamatsu changed the most. Not the one who developed. I don't consider having all your character flaws changed in one dramatic impact a development, but I will consider it a change. Therefore, there are two Motoko's, by my book. Feminist Motoko, and Kawaii Motoko. And while I like both of them, I don't like people who see them as the same individual. They aren't. And therefore, I turned Motoko into an infected slab of undeath flesh as soon as I could, so people wouldn't beg me to add yet another pile of FMxKei but FM=KM to the ** pile. If you want a feminist Motoko x Keitaro fic, I'll do it. If you want a kawaii Motoko x Keitaro fic, I'll do that with panache. But I will not consider them the same character, and therefore write a fic about how Motoko, while struggling with her inner femininity, decides to kill Keitaro, but falls into his lap and promptly falls in love. That is an insult to both Motokos.

Who knows, worse comes to worse, I can fix Motoko, bring her back to life, and develop her relationship with Keitaro. But rest assured, this will neither be a Moto-bashfest, nor a Moto-omgiluvh3r party.

Same for Naru. While I gave her the highest odds, I'm personally rooting for the underdog. Darling, sweet, lovable Kanako. I am so a KanxKei pairer. :D Then again, who can't love a girl who is devoted to the point of mindless fanaticism. :)
