TurbanatorTopic: Welcome to the forum First off, the series is listed below:Book 1: All it took was a little kindness Book 2: Love faces many an obstacle Book 3: A lack of faith brings insecurities I started this fiction way back in early Autumn 2001, and wrote the first 5 chapters in one go in order to prevent the typical oneshots that prevailed in those days. The Love Hina section had around 130 fics in total, a far cry from the 1400~ that now reside here. Look up the older stories, sorting by publish date and you'll be surprised at the good quality of the old writings of those authors. This was also the first ever Motoko and Keitaro match up on ths site (as I have no way of knowing on any other sites), which marks it somewhat significantly. In the future I will be creating more posts to discuss character development, and points on which I feel I need to change to tune the series better. Thank you in advance. | #1 Mar 18th 2006, 12:30am

master-of-the-godAre you still making this a motoko and keitaro fic story because I haven't seen them getting together yet and its taking a while for them. I hope they still are so please let me now if they are still getting together because this really a great story so far |

Wonderbee31Yes I agree, I just re-read this fic today, up to part 3, and while it seemed like Motoko/Keitaro at first, they definitely grew apart in the second book, though that was more due to misunderstanding, imo. I do hope that those two will be able to get together, as they're one of my favorite pairings, much better than the saddistic jailer of Naru, and the masochistic inmate of Keitaro. |

TurbanatorThere is no reason to worry. I've often said in my author's notes (spanning 5 years, wow) that I'd make 9 full books, essentially, a rewrite of the manga, except, tuned more to the relationship between Motoko and Keitaro. So yes, they will end up together. :) The beginning cvan never be perfect though, otherwise where's the fun in that? Besides, when people try and make up for mistakes they've done, you'll begin to notice how much they care for the other person. Likewise, when that person (Motoko) replies in a kinder fashion than you were used to, rather than the harsh manner she's been using lately. Wasn't the scene when she asked for Keitaro's help to take her upstairs more satisfying to see than the more traditional love scenes in the earlier books? I'll be addressing why exactly I made them grow apart in a separate thread, since it warrants it's own acknowledgement. In the meantime, if you like Motoko and Keitaro, read my 28 Days Later story. While it is horror-based, the gradual building up of the trust and friendship between the two will make you happier, and the epilogue will be ultimately the climax of it all. In response to 'the god', I will be writing the next chapter of Book 3 after I've done the next chapter in my Mutsumi-centred story, The Butterfly Effect, which is currently in production. In the meantime, enjoy rereading your favourite parts, and post more comments here to keep up a dialogue. Ask your own questions in their own topic if you wish, no limits. :) | #4 Mar 24th 2006, 12:09am . Edited Mar 24th 2006, 10:10am

Wonderbee31I'm glad to hear that, it can be very exhilarating to read a story where the characters are coming close, only to see them hurridly separate. I enjoyed your LH version of 28 days, wondering how the sidestory with Ranma is coming along, or is that dead for now? I like that currently, you have the charactes about as close as any to canon that I've seen in fanfics, imo, and looking forward to how things continue, including such as when Keitaro finally gets in, only to have his victory taken away sort of, and other moments. Enjoying the great work.B. |

master-of-the-godCould you tell me what book 2 and 3 were about because I am a bit confused two what was going on I had to read it a cauple of times to under stand it but I still didn't get was going on. |

Roi-TanYay! The books aren't dead! Glee! This is my favorite story on the net. If you had killed it, I would have...been sad I guess. Threatening. |

BiGGGsI'm glad this isn't dead but I assume you're expecting some acceleration in your writing, otherwise nine books at your current rate - could expect completion in 2118 sometime. I'm not having a go, it's just that it seems ambitious when you've had problems keeping up in the past.Great story though, hope you update soon (whatever that means :). |
