So I'm gonna give you the idea I had for it. Casey and Derek had been secretly together and then Derek decides he's going to go to college in the States. Casey's really sad about it and they spend one more night together, the night before he leaves.

You don't have to use that idea, it's just a suggestion.

I have a chapter fic that's inspired by that song. It's not complete yet or anything, but I like it. And it's not exactly the same concept as you had in mind, although Derek and Casey were together and did break up.
