dont doubt yourself. first pairings are ones that have been done to death....like puzzleshipping. then the pairings get progressively unusual depending on how twisted compy's mind is....hence the birth of Laddershipping in season.....4 i think?

EDIT - @ Shining: I think we've zapped pretty much all of those "done to death" pairings. Lemme see, we've done Pride, Azure, Polar, Bronze, Tender, Thief, Dark, Puzzle, Puppy, Silent, Psycho....^^; But yeah, I never throw you guys to the sharks first round, that week's just to get everyone used to the system before the oddball pairings pop up. So whether it's common or not, it will be easy.

Yes. That's the only requirement to your fics, aside from making sure they're on time. No matter what the pairing is, het or yaoi or yuri, it has to be romantic. Now, that does not mean it has to be OMG TWOO WUV. Everyone knows there's a million ways to make a romance, whether they're already together ot seperated or will be together or it's one-sided or they're with someone else but secretely want each other....etc, etc, etc. No matter what the couple, as long as the reader can tell that romance is/was/can be there, it's accepted. If you decide you can't do that for certain couples, this contest may not be right for you.
