Sorry about the last part. I wasn't kidding when I said I was the oldest person on this forum. I got married right out of high school to a man claiming to be a preacher, we had three children together, my oldest child is 11 and she is practicing her writing skills to hopefully post something on this site soon. Well after ten years of marriage that a** decided it'd be cute to try and kill me, so I left him. Being in the abusive situation actually helped define Yuri's character and I hope to get my book published soon. In the past two years of being a single mom, I've wrote more material, made new friends, and met new people. I'm not remarried to a wonderful man, who is actually a few years younger than me...sorry no one my age or older is remotely interesting and at least he likes to have fun. We now have a baby on the way and it's a girl and we are going to name her Lilith River.

Some say I should probably grow up, but what's the fun in that? All my friends are younger than me except for a few that are actually older than me. To Psycho the Max - BPD is not the same thing as schizophrenia or the same thing as having hallucinations; in fact, it has nothing to do with seeing other people or anything like that at all. Please do not use diagnoses that you have no idea about; as a psychology student, I find it irritating and it makes you look ignorant. Let me break down BPD for you:

1) Personality disorders mean YOUR PERSONALITY IS SCREWED UP. That's not something you exactly broadcast.

2) It is characterised by:

-Unstable moods (depression, anxiety, anger)

-Poor self-concept or grandiose self-importance

-Unstable relationships

-Impulsive and self-damaging behaviors,

-Is often duel-diagnosed.

3) Furthermore, it is more common in women then men, as men tend to be sociopaths - oh wait! That also has nothing to do with hallucinations or psychoses. That is antisocial personality disorder, AND WAIT! Has nothing to do with being antisocial.

I now own two forums relating to such, one a feral play-as-'mon RP where involving Elemental Nations (humans are rarely heard of and never seen); the other a not-so-feral play-as-'mon RP called "1000 Years Post-Apocalypse" to give you the setting, where the plot is quite literally "Try to take over the world" (humans are extinct, and Pokemon are beginning to rebuild society in their absense). :3 I like world domination RPs. With a full-time job and a non-stop life, i've never been able to finish my stories (only 4) i started since i was 16 years old. I'm hoping someday, i finally will? However, I've always got original characters ending up in them, so personally, i don't think the stories would be as appealing to anyone else other than myself and my close friends. But, i might give them a try anyway. If so many years have gone by, and i still got the plots on my mind, i think it's something i need to tend to.

I really respect a good writer that's not afraid to lean away from a character's original personality, as long as it's believable, smartly written, enjoyable, and has a point. I think it's fun to put the characters in uncommon situations, or give them uncommon roles (such as a mature or cynical Yugi). As such, i don't mind reading stories with original characters, or out-of-character personalities.

The only Yugioh story i've ever created is one involving Seto Kaiba. I'm slowly trying to boost my inspiration for it, since i think he's a very interesting character. Any tips or suggestions, or just comments would be welcome.
