Hmm... Well, that would only work if Raito were using Matsuda. After all, Matsuda is the only one how completley trusts Raito and believes in his 'innocence'.

And, in Raito X Matsuda, Raito would so be the seme. I don't think there's anyone you can pair Raito with to make him the uke.

But, I'd have to say that I'd pair Ide with Matsuda. I don't know why, most likely because Matsuda is always lecturing Ide about romance...

I've actually written a Matsuda/Light fic. It's a good pairing, but certainly not one of the more popular ones. I think that Light wouldn't have an issue using Matsuda and Matsuda wouldn't have a problem with being used because he honestly had/s feelings for Light.

It's also even more angsty when you think about how the series ended.

I think Light and Matsuda could only work if it is written in a really, really twisted manner. Any scenario I could imagine would basically involve Light malnipulating Matsuda's relationship with him for some kind of gain...

Why don't more people write about Matsuda? HE'S COOL I TELL YOU! He can...shoot good...and...stuff...

I actually agree that this pairing could work (being my second favorite next to LightxL), but either A: it would have to be some one-sided angsty, traumatic experience for Matsuda in which he lives in woe or suicides (or anything similiar) or B: a slightly 'happier' scenario in which Light uses Matsuda for the purposes of Kira. Then, Matsuda dying having been of enough use in a delighted way to be of use to Light, as everyone else thinks he is idiotic and hopeless. Or... maybe after Light mopes over L's death and loss of a close friend who understood him, Matsuda and Light become friends and their relationship builds upon that. Either way, this is still an awesome pairing that should deserve way more attention (last chapter? Practically cannon).

Call me strange, but I've thought for the longest time that Matsuda looks cute with Mogi. Also, I'd rather not pair Matsuda with Aizawa because, well, Aizawa's married. (Mind you, you could get some gewd angst mileage out of that, couldn't you? :B)
