I prefer Matt as seme, generally. Having said that, I hate it when Mello is some kind of... screechy... whining girl in the relationship.

I like Mello as a badass uke, who's all, "Come on, Matt, come and ** me, I thought redheads were supposed to be good **, faster!" and scratches and bites Matt during sex. :D

Cuz it's hot. :D

Mello as seme isn't really attractive to me, mostly because it just doesn't look as good, and I love my badass ukes too much. To me, the quality of yaoi is all about the quality of the uke -- the uke has to be really into it, has to be responsive and emotional, etc. Just like Mello. :-)

I love this pairing! It's perfect and they compliment each other so well!

Mello is the perfect seme for lazy, laid-back Matt. He's just too explosive to be anything else. Unless he was going to be a badass uke. I can see that working as well.

I first got into this paring because of 'Broken Colours' by City Girl Dreamer.

It's such a beautiful story and so different from all the other cliche AU stories I've read.
