I think he's an okama(male who cross-dresses) personally, but I knew he was a dude.

I knew Mello was a boy before i even was a fan of Death Note.

Matt seems so calm (and very used to Mello's emotional temper tantrum attitude), while Mello, like I said, can be pretty emotional (poor guy -laughs-). Though, like it's been said, Mello is the one giving orders ('cause Matt don't care XD)........ Now that I think about it, Matt seems like a DOG... OAO (wasn't ther a douji mentioning that? O-OU) Mello does appear kinda feminine in some shots of him (in the manga AND anime), but then he gets that scar and he seems more manly.... wierd how something so simple can make such a big difference. (I showed a friend of mine a pic of Mello before the scar, and one of him after, and she said he 'magically switched genders' after he got burned... U)

I mean, fluffy is good for friends, but I can't seem to like MxM smut.

I like Matt as seme because Mello is a good uke, and the idea of Mello letting Matt (and ONLY Matt) top him makes me go AWWW. I mean, Mello has a real control complex. To have him surrender that control to Matt implicates strong love and trust to me, and that's why I think it's really adorable.

Mello would never allow anyone he doesn't trust to top him, after all. But perhaps Matt... :-)
