padme's sisterTopic: The Satan Pit Oh. My. God!!!!!!!!!!!! That was...well words cannot describe how brilliant that episode was!And Rose! Definately her best episode of this series! She became the Doctor so much more effectively than her last attempts at Christmas. Oh, and the definitive Rose moment for me was when Toby became the devil again in the rocket and Rose snatched up the bolt gun. You think she's gonna shoot Toby, but instead she says 'Go to Hell' and shoots out the windscreen, then undoes Toby's buckles and lets him get sucked out into space. GO ROSE!!! Whoo!!! and the Doctor finds the TARDIS again! Yay! Alls well in the end, although only three of the original human expedition survive...thats sad...but its also life. A bit of a far fetched, sci fi life, but hey! Great episode! (and i appologise for sounding so heartless just then - my brother has really been bugging me all day and now i feel no sympathy for anyone (i get like that when i'm annoyed)). |

silent seabreezeI absolutely adored it. I went so hyper that my parents had to yell at me to calm down because I had started giggling really wierdly (I get like that when I'm hyper). There were so many Doc/Rose moments in that. Well, there was two, but you know what I mean. "Tell her...tell her...oh, she'll know" you could just see it was on the tip of his tingue to ask her to tell Rose that he loved her. And: "If there's anything I belive in, its her!" Awwwwwwwwwwwww. Well anyway, enough of my rambling. And they mentioned Torchwood in there as well, which is good. |

Cassy24601That episode was fantastic! It was quite terrifying in some parts but other bits made you want to just go "Awwww!". It's quite fortunate that there are still 4 episodes left otherwise I would have been really worried when the Doctor fell and about the prophecy about Rose (actually that's a lie - I am worried about the prophecy about Rose but still!).The Beast looked amazing - the CGI was brilliant. I really liked the way the episode made you think (well it made me think about religion anyway). Was it The Devil, a devil or just a beast? Does such a thing even exist? Anyway before i get too deep let's talk about our favouite couple. There were a few great Doctor/Rose moments but we needed more! He should have told her whatever he was about to. I was on the edge of my seat at that point but yet again the BBC decide to miss out the fluffiness. The hug near the end was heart warming though. I'm still optimistic about the future episodes though! Anyway, enough of my fanatic ramblings although I am looking forward to the next episode - Peter Kay is going to be brilliant! |

Paine jnrWell, what can I say that hasn't already been said? Both a climax and an anti-climax at the beginning, I thought that balanced it out perfectly. And the basic fears - I laughed my socks off all weekend at 'virgin' Toby! I thought the Beast was going to say that Toby killed Scooti (which he did, in a way, the Beast made him do it). Scurrying through the pipes was brilliant - yet more humor with the bum jokes. 'Not your best angle, Danny.' ~Rose 'Oi! Stop it!' ~Danny 'No, it could be worse...' ~Toby Ooh, cheeky Toby. Personally my favourite character. And Jefferson was so brave in his final moments. That actor ought to be given a medal. So should Will Thorp, but carrying on. Rose was obviously in her element when 'taking command' - she certainly loved it. But abseiling down the pit was the best for me. When the Doctor let go and he still couldn't admit his feelings to Rose, which you immediately assume he was going to say. But the Beast and the way he entered...spine tingling! And then evil Toby. Me and my mate Michael had plenty of laughs watching the cast shooting that scene. Spastic Will Thorp, but it looked great on camera. I only had 1 problem with this episode. Toby. I still think they could have saved his life. After all, he was still a normal human being. But otherwise BRILL BRILL BRILL!!! |

GiraffeGirlLoved it! Scariest one so far! Amazing CGI Beast. And I am VERY worried about that prophecy about Rose, especially after what RTD said on dr who confidential a few weeks ago... about how from the idiots lantern onwards, the show is about two best friends travelling the universe together and having fun... "perhaps too much fun. and someone will have to pay for that." And from the rumours I've heard, last ep in series is probably a cliffhanger... which is SO unfair!Btw, what was Will Thorp in before? | #5 Jun 12th 2006, 12:28pm

silent seabreezeNo, I don't think he was. But the series will end on a cliffhanger?! Oh mean, horrible Dr Who writers!!| #6 Jun 12th 2006, 12:37pm

padme's sisterWill Thorp was in Casualty. He played the paramedic Woody who was killed off in the Christmas special last year when they were all trapped in a tunnel and Woody got poisoned. |
|
GiraffeGirlI think i can guess how the series is gonna end now... god i'm gonna cry buckets... again... just like last year. |
|
padme's sisterOk, now I'm confused! In an interview on tv on thurs...Billie Piper said she was DEFINATELY staying for series 3, although not all of it...then the next day she announces she's leaving at the end of series 2! Has she just changed her mind overnight, or is there something they're not telling us? Like how she may have accidentaly let slip about series 3, and this is to try and cover that up by making people think she's leaving when she's not? Please help, I'm so confused. But you're right, I'm gonna cry too! I may have to watch it in my bedroom alone to avoid embarassement! BIllIE PIPER! YOU RULE! |

GiraffeGirlOh yeh! I always loved something deep inside from when it came out and just kinda never bought it! And I dream is pretty! But also adore she wants you, just cause I can relate to that lol. I keep on making my friends listen to it and am like "its my life! THAT. IS. MY. LIFE!!!" needless to say they think I'm crazy!Love the whole album though... I love nineties pop, just plain better than pop music these days | #12 Jun 18th 2006, 3:24pm

GiraffeGirlI think that maybe, MAYBE, she might be back... like she might go missing in the last ep and then turn up again towards the end of next series? Maybe? I hope! Cos i guess filming will prob clash with filming for ruby in the smoke so she needs time off. Who knows? I like to think that she wouldn't just LIE!!!| #14 Jun 19th 2006, 12:29pm

CiciliannaIf you follow this link: http:// en. wikipedia. org /wiki /Rose_Tyler (remove spaces between "/" and "."), in the top right hand corner it gives a brief overview of the character, including the first time she appeared on the show ("Rose") and the last time she will appear on the show ("Doomsday"- the last episode in series two). She's leaving. . . *sinffles* :(| #15 Jun 20th 2006, 10:01am

gaiafreedom21i agree with that because they said they were going to make the doctora dad at the end of the next series (series 3)so just maybe rose lied about being pregnant?| #16 Aug 11th 2006, 9:09am
|
|
silent seabreezeEh? Where did they say that?| #17 Aug 11th 2006, 9:10am

gaiafreedom21i believe it was in the sun newspaper this week (thurs) " scriptwriters are rumoured to make the doctor a dad in this series , with him revealing he has a son"maybe he already has a son somewhere as he told rose in "FEAR HER" he was a dad once. i don't know maybe i'm just hoping a bit too much!!! | #18 Aug 11th 2006, 9:39am

silent seabreezeAh, The Sun, that explains it. I never listen to anything that newspaper says, as 99 percent of the time, it isn' true. No, when the Doctor said he was a Dad in Fear Her, he wass refering to Susan...in a weird, twisted way. Susan was/is his granddaughter and so, THEREFORE he had to have a son/daughter before he had a granddaughter. Does that make any sense, 'cause it doesn't to me. | #19 Aug 11th 2006, 9:41am

chirlagirlThis, besides Doomsday, was my favorite episode. It had everything. Drama, emotion, suspense, the whole bit. Fantastic!| #20 Jul 12th 2007, 8:48am
