Seriously... do you even need an example? i log in to fan-fiction on a daily basics and i go to the naruto section hoping to read something new to add to my favorites, but then i come across the horrible and sad true, yaoi is everywhere i look, from sasunaru to saigaa, from kakairuka to shinokiba, you name it. im tired of seeing more than half of the results with yaoi couples. isn't there some way to exclude the yaoi stories when you look for fanfics?

if you haven't figured it by now, yes i am a yaoi hater, its just sick, just looking at the mental picture of two guys making out or going at it, disturbs me, its just wrong, i just cant stand it in any way, i hate it with all my might and being, yes i know some of you will just reply saying that i have issues for hating yaoi and that i am a homophobe, well excuse me for being with the great majority of the people who would rather read some story about a boy and a girl making out and bringing children to this world (even if its in fanfic) than reading about two guys doing it instead (too bad they wont go as far as bringing the children part)

The above brings me to the following.... Mpreg.... SERIOUSLY FOR GODS SAKE!!!!! (FOR SCIENCE SAKE if you don't believe in god) who in their right judgement would write about a guy getting pregnant. i can slightly tolerate the guys making out, but one of them ending up pregnant, that's going waaaaaaaaaay to far, ugh i just want to kill whoever wrote that. sigh, you all yaoi writers and mpreg authors, you will end up killing me one day for sure, and before you start saying "if you dont like it, dont read it" HOW THE ** IM NOT SUPPOSED TO READ IT IF ITS ** EVERYWHERE!!!!!! ill stop here, because if i keep going i may end up in a killing spree.

If they're the majority, then why are there more yaoi fics than het fics or yuri fics? Shouldn't the "great majority" produce more fanworks than the "un-great minority"?

As for Mpreg.... I have actually written it. I wrote it for a fandom that has canonical Mpreg (Star Trek), and I worked very hard to write it as tastefully as possible. It, like any other plot, can be done well and can be done terribly. Unfortunately, most people do it terribly, but that doesn't mean people can't write what they want to anyway.

If yaoi offends you so much, go to an archive that doesn't allow yaoi. FF.net is an open archive that accepts any type of fic (barring smutfic). If that bothers you, no one is forcing you to read fanfic here.

I ship all sorts of pairings, yaoi, het, yuri, threesomes, ect. I don't hate you, and I believe you are entirely entitled to your own likes and dislikes. Just like I, and any other yaoi, het, or yuri writer, am entitled to like and dislike what I want.

Read the ** summaries. Or A/N's. Or reviews. Or the first three lines of text. I seriously doubt you make it to halfway through the second gay orgy before you're realize what you're reading.

Hon, it isn't that hard to filter out most yaoi, and to not read the fics that slip through--or to just go to a different site. It takes about two brain cells, in fact. Your inability to clicks those two cells together is YOUR problem, not the fault of the authors who labor over their yaoi and m-preg fics because--guess what!--they happen to actually enjoy the thought of m/m sex. Your messy, insulting ravings won't change anything.

If you don't want to read it, don't read it. They mostly warn you in the summary and it's your choice to click on it and read it or not. Plus, as someone said, there are character/genre filters.

If FF.net ever did something as to block out yaoi fiction, people would be immediately getting on its case about being homophobic.
