(She's jealous. She doesn't want to admit it so she says that it's because he's her student. But she totally doesn't want him to date... reallly...)

"Hey! You... YOU'RE ON A DATE?! I CAN'T FORGIVE YOU! ARE YOU CRAZY?!"

"It's none of your business."

"No way! I'm your homeroom teacher; I'm responsible for making sure you stay on the right path!"

"What are you babbling about? Idiot."

My favourite moment is in the manga when the class is doing a host club for the festival and Kumiko puts up Akira's picture as the No. 1 host. Then they show Shin and he's ** OFF. He's standing there and he's like, 'That **.' Then he goes and gets a whole bunch of girls just to prove her wrong. I love this on so many levels. But it's especially cute that he has to prove to her that he's a ladies man if he wants to be.

So CUTE .

I also liked the part on episode 13 when Yankumi whispers Shinohara's name.

drama: i don't know what episode it was but i like this one part in this one episode where yankumi is like set up on date(i'm pretty sure that's how it went) and shin and the gang follow to see her. but what i liked about that is that it does a close-up on shin's expression and he looks a little upset. i also like this one episode where yankumi goes over to shin's place and she tries to make dinner but it burn so shin makes fun of her and they end up eating some type of instant ramen. but later on, it shows shin and his friends at his house and their asking him if any girl's have been here and shin immediately thinks back to when yankumi was there with him. so cute.

i just love them both. i also love the whole 'teacher/student' taboo. it makes it all the more hot.

I'm basically just a fangirl, too, so any moment with the two of them together had me giggling like a very special person. Still, I think I squealed a little harder than usual for the times in the drama when they poked each other in the cheek and did the "baka" thing. It was...so very them (and for those pathetic individuals who are not so obsessed as to know exactly what I'm talking about, type in "Gokusen baka" on youtube. They're both on there). Oh, and also the part where Yankumi finds Shin on the riverbank in the morning and calls out to him. He's hot, it's cute...what's not to love?

The scene when Shin absolutely refuses to take part in the festivities and wear a fundoshi but changes his mind when Kyou tells him Yankumi digs men who wear them, and he puts it on. His face gets all red when it works and Yankumi makes gushy eyes at him. And then he gets all competitive with Shinohara-sensei. 3

That was good. In the manga, I think my favourite is when Shin meets Kumiko when he's on that date with that scary girl. I love his smirk when that little girl runs for the hills.

XD When the big bad group of gangsters all bow to him and yell out "Young Master Red Lion!"? Yeah, that was a great scene.

And later, when Noda asks ask, "I've always been curious about one thing. Shin-chan, do you like Yankumi?"

And his other friends go, "No way!" and "Are you stupid?" and "Like Shin-chan would!"

"Noda's an idiot, right Shin-chan?"

"I think," Shin says, "Probably..."

I'm so in love with this pairing.

I know, but nothing fun is happening in the manga. All that's happening is Shin keeps on meeting with Fumi ... BORING!

I know Shin and Yankumi can never get together, so I've decided that I'll be satisfied if there's on heart-stopping kiss. Do you think I'll get it?

Any action we fans can get'll probably be accidental. Sigh.

I'm know. Sucks.

Totally. Since it probably will only be accidental on Yankumi's part. (Kyaa~!!! ~3 ^-^) But I'm in love with this pairing anyway.

I only wish that I could write fanfiction that captured my feelings on this subject, but I can't *sigh*. Instead, I have to write Escaflowne fanfic, because that's the only thing I'm good at.

Actually, I think there's a special chapter sort of thing in which Shin flat out tells Yankumi that he's in love with her. Not sure how she reacts, because I don't speak/read Japanese and I can't find a translated version, but at least there's hope, right?

And even if there isn't, that's where fanfiction comes in.

Exactly! I doesn't matter if accidental or not, Shin and Yankumi are destined! That's why all these "accidents" keep occuring, it is fate. Besides if the show or manga won't show it, we can make it happen, right here, right now...

That's what we should do! We should make a ShinXKumi add-on!

Shinkumi is the best pair in all of anime! But sometimes I don't understand the fuss that's made over them being teacher and student...I mean, at the end of the day they're just going to be individuals in love with each other. We as Shinkumi fans have a moral right and duty to make stuff happen between them even if we are unlucky enough not to own the series...And I don't think Shinkumi are an accidental pair at all...I just know that they have the hots for each other!

Anime: Episode 8, when Shin goes to Yankumi's room

Drama: Episode 5, when Yankumi contemplates whether Shin has feelings for her or not

Episode 10, when Shin gets angry on seeing Yankumi on an omiai

Episode 12, when Shin yells at her and tries to stop her from leaving. Also, when he admits to liking her in front of Tetsu, Shinohara and Kashiwagi.

Graduation Special, when Kumiko catches her entire class at the hot springs resort and Shin watches her slyly and makes her uncomfortable...

This my friends, is a HARDCORE fan.
