Reasons why I don't like Paulina - Paulina Haters Forum

I'm anti-conformist. I'm against conforming to the demands of society. Which means I'm pro-weird.

There's no such thing as non-conformity. Non-conformity is the new conformity, anyway; Seventeen actually dedicated their May issue to being different. Suck it up, pal, and admit that you are not unique.

The way she acted at the end of Parental Bonding

Are you referring to the way in which she destroyed everything while wearing the dragon amulet? If you are, then you must hate Sam as well, because she basically did the same.

Her flakiness

Paulina is not a flake; she is a prep, and you better not be whining and crying about how much preps blow and punks/emo kids/Goths are better. It's shallow and stupid, and people who do that irk me to no end.

The fact that she calls people who are different "nobodies"

-.- Oh, grow up, "non-conformist." Most of the world is populated by nobodies -- no one really makes a difference. [Bitter, me? Nahhhh...] You are a nobody. I am a nobody. Paulina is a nobody in the most literal sense, because she does not even exist.

The fact that she likes Danny Phantom, but treats Danny Fenton like low-grade scum. SOOOOO FLAKY!

Oh, and I expect that next, you'll be creating anti-Mary Jane forums because for quite a time she was infatuated with Spiderman but not Peter.

Look, Paulina doesn't know that they're the same person. As she does not hang out with Fenton, she is rather unlikely to notice the personality similarities; don't say she should know him by the name, because she, along with the general public, believes him to be "InvisoBill." [The Ultimate Enemy nonwithstanding, as Danny erased all that from everyones' memory.]

She's concided and uses labels. she cares about herself. she spoild and rotten. She's as big as her ego and she well an idoit. She's a clone, a plastic doll you could find at a toy store. She thinks she "miss perfection" when she dosnt even come close to it. no one dose. She's an idoit and can feeling. i think we got the fact that she's flaky down well. She see's herself as a Princess which she knows she's not.

First of all, that does not make grammatical sense. I have never encountered "well" as a verb in English class or in any book.

However, I am going to assume you meant "she's, well, an idiot." I'm afraid I disagree; she has to at least pass her classes to stay on the cheerleading squad, which I believe she is a member of.

I never called Sam a "goth" or paulina a "prep" I also didn't say Sam or anyone else here didn't use labels. i was stating a fact of why i didn't like her or a reason why, that's one thing i dont like about everyone, inculding myself. I don't think I'm perfect and I don't find myself anywhere close to it, but paulina does she thinks she is. Sam is unique and realistic while paulina is one of those girls you can find anywhere, she isn't realistic. I did say she's an idoit what i meant was that she was or is idoitic and can feeling is an inside joke i won't fill you in on.

There is the fact that at times i am suicidal but i don't have the guts to do anything about it. I have grammar probelems that have to do with a mental condition i have so dont make remarks like that towards people you dont know I could that the wrong way but the fact that i dont know you i won't.

Just a tip -- don't put inside jokes in works you plan to show the general public. They will not get them and, if they have they same nature as your in-joke, supercritical people like me will probably deem you illiterate.

People have a passion, as you will, for writting fanfics. And having those critisised for everything they do is just horribly rotten. If u don't like Sam, fine, but that doesn't mean you should bash ds writters. I'm a DS writer, but no, I don't think Sam is perfect. But in the stories, people can warp the characters and make it so the are actually an individual. People may not capture it the best way it can be, but they try. No one's perfect.

And...maybe the knife thing was a little harsh.

I don't bash DS writers. I bash bad writers. Thing is, DS is the biggest ship in the fandom, and bad writers gravitate towards the major pairings. See? And I'm not bashing the writers, I'm bashing the bad stories.

There's a difference between challenging and grinding into dust. If you really are trying to challenge it, then it's as if you wnat them to yell back something like "I love DS so screw you!" I love challenging what people say, but only cause i want an explanation of y they think that. If I think something is shallow or just plain insane, I ask them "what the hell is up with that?" Normally they give me a reasonable answer and I go about my business. I get you like challenging what people say, but y do YOU challenge it. I do for explanation, but what's ur story?

I'm going to take the time to point out one thing that I've seen someone else post before and it made a lot of sense:

Paulina is the /only/ character to figure out a connection to Danny and Phantom by herself. That alone says something about her character. She's got to be pretty smart.

I really like Paulina actually. She's so funny. Sure she's a little mean(but it's so funny), but it isn't undeserving. Sam's just as mean to her and we have no proof of who started it. And I really hate Sam(except in that episode with the gorilla). She's so fake. Why would have an "utter disdain for anything popular"? Like what you like, hate what you hate. That one line ruined Sam for me forever.

Though, there are some brilliant authors out there who can write Sam in a way that I actually like. Yes, yes. I hate her most of the time, though.

But this isn't about Sam. It's about Paulina. And she's pretty cool in my eyes. But that's just my opinion.

lol. I can tolerate Sam if she's paired with Tucker or Dash, though. I guess my love of weird pairings overrides my hate for Sam. And it also depends on who writes it, I guess.

Sam's like Hermoine for me. XD I can't stand her most of the time, unless she's paired with a Weasly twin.

And that gives me an idea for an interesting crossover story that I'll never write. XD

I don't think I like any character of Danny Phantom anymore, except Danny and Tucker. Those are my two favorite characters. By reading all this, I don't like any character besides the ones I just said. Also, people get mad at you if you spell Danny's last name wrong.

The only character I have a major problem with is Sam. Everyone else just mildly annoys me at times.

Of course, the only ideas I get involve Sam anyway. Or some crazy crossover with no plot(Hannah Montana/Danny Phantom... don't ask XD) that would never actually work because they make no sense.

Add in the fact that I have no time and my ideas never get written. XD
