I am dying to finally publish a Harry Potter story on this page, but I have no ideas as to what I should write about. I don't want to write a typical Harry Potter story, so one full of clichés, but I just can't come up with anything that isn't completely far-fetched or unlikable in some way. Please, give me some ideas, I'm at the point where I'll be eternally gratefully for anything. Thank you so much in advance. =]

I've been playing around with the idea of a story that revolves around Quidditch, but I never got to actually start it. So why don't you do it? :P

The main premise would be that Quidditch can get characters together, in romantic or friendly relationships, characters whose common interest is their passion for the sport.

I'm thinking Oliver Wood, Harry, Dean, Ginny, Katie, even Luna.

It would be better if it's set up after the second war.

So what do you think? :P

7th book, AU: Hermione, Ginny and Luna are the only living people who know the truth about Snape. They must help him go into hiding and secretly protect Harry. Possible romance.

Okay, so the most recent idea that I had is a HarryxFem!Malfoy. There are ** tons of HarryxMalfoy pairings on here, and even a load of Fem!HarryxMalfoys, but I think only one where Malfoy is the girl (and it's **). Most important thing here is that Malfoy has always been a girl and was never a boy or believed to be a boy at any point. Same Malfoy, just a girl. Set in the fourth book, I'm looking for length here and I'm more than happy to beta if you take this up. As soon as Sirius hears that Harry has been entered in a tournament aimed at people with three years experience on him, he imediately returns to Hogwarts and takes up residence in the cave, bullying Dumbledore into allowing Harry to visit him often for training to make up for him allowing Harry to be entered in the tournament right under his nose. Remus gets in on the act and takes residence up at the castle, training Harry more often than Sirius does, however Sirius is still Harry's main trainer, as he was an auror. Remus starts teaching him how to fight physically (you can invent an excuse as to why he knows this). Malfoy sees Harry sneaking out to go and see Sirius at one point and follows him, however upon Harry meeting with Sirius at the cave, she is detected and captured by the two. Sirius, who she believes to still be a Death Eater, acts out the part and tells her that Harry is actually apprenticed to him and that he is going to present him to the Dark Lord upon his return. He then, still acting as a crazed Death Eater, forces Malfoy at wand point to swear an oath on her magic that is essentially the house elf bond (this can be pointed out, possibly by Malfoy) to Harry, that she will serve him help him to prepare etc. etc.

That's all I've got as of now. If you're interested, feel free to respond/PM me/whatever, as I said, I'm happy to beta and or talk ideas. I have other ideas as well, if you happen to like my style xP
