here's a challenge for all those out there reading, how about a Jack/Kira fic? The actors that play as those two are dating in real life as it is. I think that it would have been cool if the writers of SPD would have 'played' with that info with the episodes "History" and "Wormhole". So my challenge is...

"A believable Jack/Kira fic that involves time travel, after all in regular SPD timeframe, Jack is 19 while Kira would be.... 30ish?"

Here's a challenge for all you fanfictioners out there (is that even a word?)!

Rules:

#1 Has to be a one shot (500-2000 words)

#2 The pairing used has to be Sky and Z OR Sky and Syd (your favourite)

#3 Use proper characterisation

#4 Can't feature any other characters UNLESS it's absolutely necessary!

This is a way of finding out which of these pairings is the most popular. If there are a lot of responces I'll gather them together and the winner's URL will be displayed on my bio page. Have fun!

Hmm...I might have something. Ok, I challenge anyone on this site to write a Syd/Doggie fic, I don't care how except that A) it's actually done in a way that makes the whole thing believable and B) the big blue dog is a widower to avoid turning the whole pairing into one big frelling soap opera. (and face it, the odds of him turning out be a widower were really high and the whole "the person who was thought to be long dead but is really alive" thing is totally cliche and the way they did it didn't help matters one bit.) This one's open to all, any questions just PM me.

Wow that is Really out there if you ask me, I'll have to think about it. To be honest, the pairs mentened in the above postings, I don't know, to me... just didn't seem to fit anyone.... ah well.....

I'd like to see some more development for the Jack/Ally relationship. Will it last? Or is it just a convenient plot device to get Jack out of SPD? How would you define Ally?

Anyway the last time I talked to her, she was definitely considering building a shrine for Jack and Ally sometime in the future.

I would like to see more crossover fics with the power rangers involved. Power rangers in space running into the Battlestar Galactica, one of the female power rangers turning into a vampire slayer, Dr Thomas Oliver visiting Jurassic Park, and so on.

I got this story idea, but since I don't write PR stories so well, I'll make it a challenge.

Based on SPD episode Endings part 1 and/or 2. Why did Grumm keep Isinya as a prisoner all that time? Did he have the foresight to keep her to use agianst Doggie, or is it something more complicated and sinister?

I would So love it if you could incorperate hints or more of a DoggiexKat relationship, but if you don't want to it's perfectly fine!

i have a couple

1. what if in swat 2 bridge actually was in trouble?

2. a bridge centric one where maybe he is on his own in town for some reason and then has to face against a monster by himself and gets really beat up. (sorry i like bridge angst! but i like when he gets better too!)

3. a bridge/sky where someone is trying to get back at sky by going through bridge

Quite honestly, I think stories revolving around the relationship of Jack and Syd are far more interesting than Sky/Syd or Bridge/Syd.

I would love to see more stories going into depth with chemistry Jack and Syd shared in 'Stakeout' and various other episodes. I think there was, in fact, much more spunk and spice between Jack and Syd rather than the stone cold Sky. I want to see stories that use their drastic difference in lifestyle(i.e. Jack is a street-rat while Syd is a rich girl) to bring them together. The other good challenge couples are Sky/Z and Bridge/Sophie, which, in my opinion, are clear throughout the storyline. I'm tired of placing the pretty girl with the pretty boy. It would be nice if someone switched things up a bit!
