KatAngelQueenTopic: Schools Out Forever! Omg, I LOVED the second book! Though the isolation tank thing totally freaked me out, since i have minor claustrophobia. Not cool. |
MistressOfTheMireI want to know how Ari came back to life. It was freaky when he appeared. Any ideas? |
KatAngelQueenI think it was because of his messed-up genetics and because he hated/loved Max for taking his father and making him an eraser, so yea.| #3 Jul 08th 2006, 12:35pm

MyrahMy qusetion for the third book....WHAT THE HECK IS FANG'S SUPER POWER???????? Also, I was looking at the cover, and is that Fang or Iggy on the cover? Whenever I ask someone this, they go "Fang, duh!" But I was looking REALLY closely, and the mystery guy's hair looked kind of strawberry blonde. Plus, Iggy would make more sense because he got ditched with his parents in the story. |
KatAngelQueenI think its Iggy too.We will just have to wait and see, doll ;) |
Moonpi8Am I the only person here who is convinced there will be a thing with Iggy and Nudge? |
KatAngelQueenNudge is too young for him! heres my thing:Nudge/Gazzy Iggy/that girl from the sewer where ari "died" Fang/max Angel/ NO ONE! shes too young xD |
MyrahI kind of think Nudge might have a crush on Iggy. I don't think they'll ever have a real relationship, but they're is probably SOMETHING going on.| #8 Jul 17th 2006, 11:11am

KatAngelQueenYea, but i think its more of an admiration, you know, like a brother or someone you like but notlike THAT.| #9 Jul 17th 2006, 11:12am

Ashley-LampostI thought the person on the front was Ari. That's just what I think.| #10 Jul 27th 2006, 5:44pm

Quill and SaberMy question for all of you: doth it matter who is on the cover? I think it would make more sense if it were Fang, because he is more important in this book than Iggy is; I think if it were Ari the form would be stockier. However, if you look at a lot of bookcovers, the artist didn't read the book very well and thus it may not be anyone in particular.| #12 Jul 30th 2006, 3:40pm
MyrahTrue, the girl on the first book is totally NOT Max. But I'm still pretty sure that the guy on SOF cover is Iggy. The hair just gives it away for me. 1) the hair looks kind of strawberry blonde when you look at it closely and 2) Fang has longer bangs, they keep mentioning that in the book. Plus, it does make sense that Iggy would be on the cover (though Fang is more important to the story) because Iggy got left behind at his parents place.| #13 Aug 02nd 2006, 8:39am

KatAngelQueenAgreed.| #14 Aug 02nd 2006, 8:49am

Ashley-Lampostthe birds in the backround are just birds. I've examined them, like on the back of the first book, it's just five circling birds. And the person on the front, there's no way to tell the color of his hair because it's just on big shadow thing. They just show you the shape.| #15 Aug 07th 2006, 9:11am
MyrahNo, if you look carefully at the "backround birds" you can see that they are miniature people. You have to look REALLY closely though, and it only works two of them. Theyt made it so that it's hard to tell, but i'm almost positive that they are winged kids.| #16 Aug 07th 2006, 3:34pm
Ashley-LampostI've checked really closely too and it didn't look like they were people. But I'll check again.| #17 Aug 10th 2006, 11:41am

KatAngelQueenYea. Thats a good idea.| #18 Aug 11th 2006, 7:51am

Ashley-LampostI don't seen any kids, and I've used a magnifing glass. (I know I spelled it wrong) I really don't think they're are any bird children.| #19 Aug 12th 2006, 9:51am
Quill and SaberI repeat my statement: do you think it really matters what is on the cover? Really, book covers tell you nothing.Take the cover of The Blue Sword, for example. Harry's got something that looks like a wooden pole and she's hitting some guy with a headscarf on. However, that never happens in the book. The bird shapes and bird kid on the front of the cover were just meant to suggest birds and birdkids, not tell you anything about the book. | #20 Aug 12th 2006, 10:07am
Ashley-Lampostyeah, sometimes I don't think the people who do the cover actually read the book. hence the saying "don't judge a book by it's cover."| #21 Aug 12th 2006, 1:44pm
dinolove453That's true about the whole cover thing. I mean, sometimes they are based off the book- Like in Gregor the Overlander, where after you read you can totally tell what the cover means- but in other cases it doesn't. It depends on the cover artist.| #22 Aug 20th 2006, 4:38pm

Quill and SaberStarr33,could you please restate that using proper spelling and capitalization? Punctuation would be helpful too...| #28 Oct 08th 2006, 5:43pm . Edited Oct 08th 2006, 5:44pm

KatAngelQueenQuill, this isn't exactly a literate thread, but it's helpful. I'm sure you can decipher it as is.In response to Star, I agree, now that you bring it up. | #29 Oct 08th 2006, 7:21pm

Quill and SaberI've got a little bit of a personal problem reading stuff that isn't considered "literate" (if that means what I think it means). I really can't read that stuff. I know, it's a personal failure I have to figure out, but English isn't my best language (even though it's my first). I have serious trouble reading it if it isn't written in Standard English.NO OFFENSE WAS INTENDED TO ANY PARTY! | #30 Oct 08th 2006, 8:07pm

Wings Wolves and Greek GodsThere's always just 5 birds on the cover but there's 6 bird kids that might be foreshadowing that ones getting killed off or that the person sitting has to be one of the flock. Just a thought!| #32 Nov 14th 2006, 4:58pm

Ashley-Lampost(In response to Quill and Sabar)Okay, this is a writing site where people submit stories, if they were written like that, well, I wouldn't read any. And it doesn't take any extra time to use proper English. A few spelling mistakes are fine, but to read that is just painful on the mind to figure out. We all know proper English, we're on here, so that means most of us use it, and actualy using proper English all the time is a nice habit to get into. All right, rant over. Who brought it up before? I don't know, but someone mentioned that Fang and Ari are always fighting the most, kind of like over Max. Ugh, who was it that said it??? Anyway, kind of a teritorial thing, right? | #36 Mar 20th 2007, 1:49pm
