Okay, i just want to know, do you guys like ALL types of stories, as long as it's SS or do you like certain types of plots or avoid certain types of plots like the ones with princess sakura and stuff or the playboy ones?

If you do, what plots?

If you don't, wow, but reply if you don't anyway.

Ummmm I've actually never thought about that. I guess I'll read any fanfic as long as I think it's good, so I don't really have any special preference or dislike to any certain type of plot. Hope that explains anything ^___^!

people, be creative

not that you aren't

Well, I like a lot of SS stories that doean't involve the whole hate then love thing. . I only read the Humor, Romance, and Drama (sometimes). Also the rated M stories with smut and lemon.

I guess I like Romance/Humor or Romance/Drama. I hate horror, but vampires and stuff is okay (Though I don't really read any of those). I don't like ones where they die and/or something bad happens (i.e. Rape).

I like lots of fluff XD. I like fanfics in Sakura's POV and Syaoran likes her (Without saying anything, just is very moody), but she gets all confused. Do you understand that? I don't think I understand it myself O.o...

Uh, I like mostly romance, humor, and sometimes angsty stuff. I don't know exactly what plots are the best....I think it depends on how well you know and are able to capture your characters. You may portray them differently in your ficcy, but you have to have a sense of who they are, what their thoughts and dreams are. That sorta thing....Be able to know your story and where it's going, make sure it has a direction that each chapter is leading to. Hmmm....that's mostly what I look for in a ficcy. But I don't really like the ficcys that have where Syaoran is a total flirt, I just can't imagine him like that... *ponders this* ....nope I still can't. I've read a LOT of CCS ficcys and I love most of the ones I've read. Also, I know in the manga and anime there are some....uh, well...creepy relationships, it scares me when people write more about those relationships.

i kinda get bored with some plots like the first enemies then love things

it gets on your nerves

there are good ones out there

and arranged marraige ones are kinda old

unless they have a plot twist or two

Well, I think most are ok. It depends on if the writer can keep their story full of suspense where the reader doesn't want to stop reading. Where it feels like you're actually there witnessing it. There are quite a few arranged marrige ff, where they have to get married but they hate each other, then they fall in love, then something bad happens, then everything is ok again and they live happily ever after. Ya, I agree those can get kinda boring. It's nice when people come up with an idea for a story that you haven't seen before. Something new and fresh, something unique. Yup. Ok, I should probably go back to doing my homework instead of trying to get away from it.

Yeah...I agree with that. I love fics where the writer describe them as if we're watching them LIVE. It's a hard thing to do, believe me, but then again it's unique. Magic fics are ok as long as they're original like you make up the name but it's still cool and yours. As for original fics, I have to agree that the enemies thing can get a bit...irritating coz it'll only be the same thing: in the end, they fall in love.

Hm...that sounds like the fic I'm trying to do, but I think mine's gonna have a twist in the end. Oh well.

But if the writer is really creative, it'll be nice to see a very unique fic where they fight but still talk like friends. Does it make any sense? I think Wonderland by FireTemptress would be a nice explanation or Slave for A Week by PinkCelestial. Did I spell that right?

Anyhow, it really does depends on the writer. But then again, us readers just couldn't stay away from S+S fluff!

I agree with xsuppixchanx about the stories in Sakura's POV where Syaoran makes no obvious signs that he likes her and then he does something out of the blue and your stomach just jumps. I like that feeling. In fact any story with a scene that makes you react physically because you're drawn into the story so much where you feel like you are the character, those are the good stories.

Personally I like stories with substance. I like stories where Sakura isn't just kawaii and happy go lucky but has depth. I also don't like angsty Sakura without a reason. I guess I like characters that have been developed. I don't like to be just thrown into a story where they're jumping each other at the first moment.

Basically I like novels. I like descriptive writing, paragraphs and smooth flowing dialogue with witicism. I like Sakura and Syaoran to have some friction but not to out and out hate each other without good reason. I like humour and drama but with a happy ending. I like stories that involve everyone not just two characters and for each character to interact differently. I actually have very high standards but mostly romances with substance. Couples who work together, not with the man taking control and the woman a simpering belle of the ball but neither does she have to just take on everything by herself and kick every ** in sight. She can rely on people, so maybe I like characters who are human, each and everyone has a flaw but not all of them know it.

Oh and moody Syaoran but with a soft heart for those he cares about though unwilling to show it, also good.

Teehee. I know how you feel. To be honest, to me the whole "Sakura being dense" is overrated. No offense to the peps who like Sakura like that. Dunno....but i like a tough Sakura. The one who is willing to stand up to herself without having someone protect her. Does that make any sense? Yea, a badass Sakura is the kind i like. Liek the one who deals with gangs all that good stuff. ^^ A good Syaoran? Naw, that's just plain...freaky. No offense though! Sometimes i like stories in Sakura/Syaoran POV. Other times i like them in our POV. More then 1 coupling makes a great story. Especially Tomoyo/Eriol coupling. OHOHOHOHOHOH!!!!!! *.*

Love at seconds sight and hate at first is getting old =__=;;

I like it when they are attracted to each other first and slowly fall in love XD

Some stories with Sakura x Syaoran hating each other at first is okay..but I find it quiet boring..

XD But I'm an angst lover X3 and drama with angst in a mixture is AWESOME!! XD

But we have sooooo little angsty S+S stories in this CCS section though...;__; and more BL stories are angsty, which is gooooooooooood =D (just a bit off topic, but does anyone here like BL? XD)

I like original S&S fanfics. ^^ I'm kinda embarassed to say that I usually don't try and read a fanfic unless it has at least 100 reviews... and even then when I begin to read some (hai even my own) I wonder why it has that many reviews. I'm really tired of S&S being a punk, a nerd, a prince, princess and etc. I'm really really bored of that. I don't even read those types any more. Even if a fanfic has 100 reviews... if I start reading it and it doesn't have enough detail or great dialogue I stop reading it.

When I want to read a Card Captor Sakura fict, I want to read a CARD CAPTOR Sakura fict. That being a continuation fict, whether it's sad, angst, happy, action, drama, whatever, the story should follow the events of the original series.

I do not want to read Sakura without her cards, fallin in luv wit 'Xiao Lang' 4 da '1st time,' tough Sakura and wimpy Syaoran, etc....

I might not be so displeased with Alternate Universe ficts if they weren't so over done with characters whose only resemblance to their CCS counterpart is their name. In Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles may be filled with different worlds, but at the heart of it- the characters are still themselves. Tsubasa Syaoran and CCS Syaoran may fight differently, but their motivation, to protect the one they love, is exactly the same.

To MoshiMoshiQueen:

Lol XD looks like i'm not the only picky reader here XD hehehe

Same here actually, i look for details, beautiful descriptions that can bring out the feel of the story, the hidden emotions etc.

A lot of ideas have been recycled, Sakura being a princess, sakura or syaoran = nerds/super popular people, high school romance, wayyyyyyyy too boring. =____=;;

People often interpret Angst wrong. When someone says angst, they immediately thinks about character death. =____= angst is just more realistic and has a somewhat dark, brooding feeling. *mumbles mumbles*

i'm not THAT picky, but once you read a reat fanfic, you start thinking more and more suck.

like once you read jagged amber, butterflies, and stuff like that, the ones with little detail and dialouge that isn't lifelike is BORING!!!!!

the princess ones are stupid, no offence but i just don't like them.

the hate at first sight is getting REALLY boring

i guess angsty is okay, but i sometimes don't like too much sadness, though i like the realistic part

the nerd/popular cliche is REALLY old and most of them are WAY to boring!!!!!!!!!!!!

i like love for a princess though, it does have some angsty, and i like it

i'm half a picky writer, half not

but i DO look for confusion from sakura and syaoran, little voices in their head, making the story just SO real!!

I like Romance/any other genre. I see a lot of romance fics out there! Yeah, I do think the hate and love thing is not so original, unless you put some twist XD. And another "Yeah," a multitude of characters and not just a concentration on two, makes it so much more realistic.

Could I ask a question here? Why is it that when I went to take a look at my new story in "Just In"(ugly, unoriginal, maybe), it said "STORY NOT FOUND. STORY ID BLABLBABLA*** (I forgot the ID)," How could this be?!

But it DID appear in the "JUST IN" list.

Okay...sorry for going off-course (the topic).

I have no idea. But it should have

-Minor romance (TOTALLY LITTLE!!! Or bigger if you want)

-Action

-Adventure

-Some Horror

Or something else. Adventure is the coolest. I know we're talking about plots but... Meh.

I really don't mind any types of fics, as long as they don't get too unrealistically mushy, have too many cliches or get beyond understanding. Then I'm fine. But I would really like to see some more unique story coz I'm a bit sick of seeing the same plots being written over and over again. I, myself, also hate the prince and princess plots... But what seems to be more common these days seem to be high school musical fics and frankly, I absolutely can't stand them.

Um...hi?

Not sure if this is still active...ANYWAY, I like romance stories obviously involving SS :) I generally just read anything that's GOOD which is pretty hard to find :P But I avoid the cliche plots like Syaoran and Sakura meeting on a bet, or Syaoran the playboy and Sakura the nobody and vice versa or anything involving vampires, werewolves and other fantasy creatures. I enjoy drabbles and one-shots the most and I only like the ones that include magic if they're well-written and not too ridiculous. Yeah...but I love any good SS fics really :)
