I've been thinking about that for a while now... what is it really that makes those two together so cute? Because, really, they are!

*Is it because Zoro is such a typical seme? And in comparison Luffy is rather uke? (... in a way, ehe ^^'')

*Is it because their personalities are quite the opposite of each other? Ye know, with Zoro being all quiet, stern, cool and all, while Luffy is happy-go-lucky, loud and stupid.

*Or is it just that they just look good together?

What do you guys think about the matter? Maybe you have your own theory? Then do share it! :D

zolu is cute because it just is. its that simple. oh and i think luffy would be the seme in the relationship( he's hyper and is after all the captain)

Aah, ZoroLu is awesome - my favourite pairing of all time!

They just fit together. That's what makes this pairing so good, because of how they act towards each other and how much faith they have in each other. The way they almost know the other's thoughts and those small hints we get in the manga makes my heart flutter~

I guess that's where I feel ZoSan and ZoLu parts. I'm not usually one to discuss between pairings, but I can't see the feelings in the ZoSan relationship, while there is a lot in ZoroLuffy. It's just my opinion though - as well as many ZoSan fans see Luffy as too childish to be a character suited for YAOI. It's a personal choice which you want to support - but I'll stick with ZoroLu, most probably forever.

Luffy is the uke in the relationship for me, even though I don't mind it the other way either, if it is written well. I usually have problems reading doujinshi with LuffyxZoro, because it's so hard to imagine Luffy being the seme, even though he's the one with the most authority on the ship (being the captain and all). I guess it is because of Zoro's built - he's rather massive, and higher than Luffy + that he's two years older. And Zoro's always repriminding Luffy, so xD Zoro has also shown that he cares a lot for Luffy, screaming for him when something happens and when he's in danger, and the same other way around...

Yeah, ZoroLu is awesome. And cute. And adorable.
