I always thought of pennames as something to describe yourself. It's something you go by that is still YOU, but not your name.

Reasoning behind: Well, i'm a giant pokemon fan, so i love the shiny versions (Specially shiny legendaries). Dreamer because i daydream a lot.... and 13 coz it's my favorite number (don't ask!)

Old Pennames: Well I've had a few. First it was nerdygurl4.0 (I had that for about a day), then HazeShadow13, then -PyroShock-, and back to HazeShadow13, and now ShinyDreamer13.

Reasoning Behind: Chiharu was the name of my Bleach Arrancar back in 2006. XD She had the power to manipulate flowers. She and I are absolutely nothing alike. For one, she's ridiculously nice, and I'm a bitch. XD The 'x's are there for absolutely no reason at all. I can't remember why I put them there. I've kept this penname for a couple of years now. XD The misbalance of 'x's? I can't, can't count, so that puts emphasis on my inability to count!! XD

Reasoning Behind: Okay so one day i walked into the movies wearing a orange brown sweater with a white long sleeve shirt underneath. I was also listening to music using some SK Agents, which apparently look kinda brownish in the light. So my friends dubbed as DJ Raichu, because of the Skull Candy headphones, and the name still sticks to this day.

Old Pennames: I didn't really have old pennames but an old username. My old username used to be Swiper_The_Fox (which i still use on Gamefaqs ;D) after the whole Raichu thing I was kinda forced to switch to DJ Raichu then to xXl Raichu lXx

"Interesting" facts: Uhhh...Despite the name "DJ Raichu" in not really a DJ. I play guitar and one of my guitars has a little Raichu sticker on it. Does that count?

Reasoning Behind: After finally getting the nerve to actually review on this site, I review anonymous under this name. I was unknown, and the souldreamer part just popped up. Then I got my profile. It may sound corny, but it was the best I had, and I like it.

Old Penname: I was also considering Heart of Silence as a penname, but it sounds lovey-dovey, don't you think?

Interesting Facts: I'm a dreamer, hence the name. (I spend more time staring out the window than working or paying attention) I'm also diverse in all types of stories. Games, Cartoons, Anime, etc.

My penname has a different origin. Not cuz I herd u liek Pichus. But pichu was the first pokemon i ever saw. i saw it on the cartoon then i saw it on Smash Bros. Melee and I mastered it. Then I got Pokemon games. I beat pearl with 1 Piplup and 5 Pichus once. :D

Changed my Penname sense it was starting to get confusing sense I have an OC named Toko. From now on all my Pennames will have Green in it, so please call me Green from now on.

"Interesting" facts: - I have the original pokemon manga in Japanese and all! It was actually ALOT more violent than the series that was released on TV. Up yours 4KIDS! Also, the first episode of pokemon that I had ever watched was when Ash and Pikachu both became ghosts and Team Rocket were stuck on the merry-go-round!

Reasoning: Bowoneshi is made up of the letters from my 3 favorite Mario Kart characters BOWser, dry bONEs, yoSHI. I had just gotten Mario Kart DS and didn't know what to use as a name, and thus was born Bowoneshi, often mispronounced and misspelled, but it doesn't bother me. I'm used to it by now ;p. The best thing about making your own words is you never have to worry about someone else taking your name when you join a new site ^.^

BoogiepopShippuden- I swear the acronym is a coincidence! I created this name by taking Boogiepop, one of my favorite characters from my favorite book, and Shippuden, as in Naruto Shippuden.That and I really love the way Boogiepop is written and one day I want to write a story in that style. I keep messing up though.

DtecnoKira- From DtecnoLife and Kira (As in Death Note, not Bleach) I like the song DtecnoLife because it talks about not letting sorrow from the past hurt you. It's a lesson I still need to learn. That and Kira sort of came through and gave me hope for life at a really dark time. Even if his methods were brutal, I kind of liked the idea of a world where I wouldn't have to worry about my family being safe every day.
