I read a fic awhile back about Chase, but now I can't find it for the life of me and I don't remember the author or title. XP The plot ran like this though *WARNING, PLOT CONTAINS ABUSE*:

A little girl comes into the hospital with her liver failing. One DDX later, and Chase gets an idea but he sits on it for a while. He and Foreman search the house of the patient and find a liquor cabinet. Chase mentions that the husband has a young wife, and runs off to test the little girl for cirrhosis (I believe). He thinks the dad has been plying his little girl with alcohol and molesting her. Turns out he's right, and House pushes Chase to confront the husband personally even though CPS could take care of it. There's also a scene where House finds Chase hiding out in the hospital chapel and forces him to go run the rape kit on the little girl. At the end of if House confronts Chase in front of Cameron and Foreman, asking him how he could make the connection between 'young pretty wife' and 'dad's molesting daughter'. Eventually Chase breaks down and admits that his mom abused him, which takes everyone be suprise. House was expecting him to say his dad had, or a priest, or something other than his mother. Then House takes a cheap shot at Foreman about Chase's life being crappier than his and the story ends.

Anyone read this? I would really like to re-read it. *fingers crossed*
