I dont like the idea of them changing doctors but i like Kutner hes cool anyways i didnt like foreman or cameron.

I miss my Chase!

I'm still pissed that they got rid of the team. I don't think the show needed it (don't fix what isn't broken) and the new team are poor versions of the old team.

The only newbie I liked is Chase-lite aka Kutner. But I'd prefer the original anyday.

As such I come here on ff.net to get my much needed Chase fix. Thank God people are still writing Chase centric fics.

So the forum has been pretty much flat lined(though magically we're still about 900 posts ahead of everyone else, in post counts!) since Chase has mostly had nothing to do, but pop up, say a line, then disappear. The way it's been going, I'm thrilled if he just gets to say his one line without the mask and scrub cap! And if by a miracle he gets a whole scene, or a couple scenes, well it's like I've died and gone to heaven! Who'd ever think we Chase fans would MISS the days when we were whining about Chase having nothing to do but sit there looking pretty, while gnawing on pencils?!

Anyone else hear the rumor that JS has signed up for a couple more years? I keep hoping they'll just get rid of Chase all together, so I can stop watching, and spend my Tuesday nights watching NCIS.

Sorry, got to admit I only first visited these forums for the first time mid 2008. Lets face it, ff.net is pretty much for fanfiction not message boards. I tend to go to TWop & IMDb instead.

However I shall contribute as much as I can. The Pretty deserves to stay at the top!

Though don't blame you for turning to NCIS Dru, even if they increase our Chase's screetime. NCIS kicks ass and atleast NCIS would never permanantly replace their team. Plus they have the delicious Tony.

Eh. I always have had problems with the writing and the poor handling of character development on this show, though. I mean, I like House enough to keep watching, but really, the dialogue seems like such clumsy exposition a lot of the times (including a lot of stating the obvious or telling us what or who the characters are instead of showing us).

Plus, this season seems to have a lot of 13 in it, and... well, I find her dull. Pretty, but dull. She's a lot of manufactured, external, circumstantial drama for the sake of being interesting, to me. Just this bland character to whom things happen so that she maintain the illusion of being interesting.

On the plus side, I pretty much like everyone else except her and Foreman (who has quickly become an unlikeable and bland character on his own) - I love Kutner, and Taub's grown on me a lot.

But at this point, I'm getting to the point where I only watch in hopes that eventually, the mountains of sexual tension between House and Wilson explode and they fuck each other senseless. Hell, even the show's personnel have vocalized that such a possibility is nowhere near being out of the question.

I'm actually liking it pretty well. I kind of adore Kutner. But did anyone else think it was criminal that they brought a priest onto the show a couple eps ago and didn't have one single Chase interaction with him? I mean, seriously?

But that makes the story line even better. In the episode where the kid had that giant syst-thing on his head, Ttaub only wanted the kid to look better, not to BE better. That created a war, which, I think, made the story even better.

(AND I TOTALLY AGGREE: Taub IS evil! But I don't see Thirteen on the evil list. Since she almost killed herself when Jason had the gun and everything. She was willing to take the medicines to save the other people. That is NOT evil!)

I like Thirteen. She isn't evil. And I agree. What she did during the hostage episode was beyond great.

I like Kutner, I'm fairly indifferent about Taub, and Thirteen seems pretty cool. As a whole, though, I like the old team way better.

He committed suicide using a pistol or some type of gun during ''Simple Explanations''.

I can't believe that they killed him off!

Well, in reality, Kal Penn, the guy who played Kutner is quitting the acting business and joining Barack Obama's White House Office of Public Liaison where he will be the Associate Director.

I KNOW! I was so sad! He showed no signs of depression, and I kind-of wanted it to be a murder, not a suicide because it is not like him to kill himself!!!!!!!!!!! I just can't believe it! I am writing a new one-shot about how House and the team deals with the death. I hope it makes you cry! But that is so cool that he is working for Obama... I guess... But I am going to miss him on the show. I hope they use him one more time in the future as an extra or something. That would be nice.....

i loved Kutner he was my favorite of house's doctors. i was so pissed off he was the dumb and funny one. I liked hiom. one of thye other ones should have died instead. Why him? well he went to do something he wanted so i understand him.

In regards to the Kutner discussion, saying he showed no signs of depression and that it's not like him to kill himself is ridiculous. If anything he was the best character to use this storyline on as we knew least about him. He was Chase-lite out of the ducklings thus amongst many similarities, he was the least utilised duckling with the least screen-time. We knew nada about his personal life really which was fitting considering how it ended.

He was actually my favorite newbie but his death hasn't had much impact on me. I'm thinking it's a combination of being indifferent towards House these days, that they've made the ducklings interchangeable and replaceable post season 4 so I really don't care too much for them, the fact that it was rather sudden and his death and the impact seemed to be self-contained into only one standalone episode plus the Fox promotion has been too OTT and sort of creepy.

Though I'm impressed with Kal Penn's decision to leave acting and go work for the white House. Although I think it's kind of harsh for the actors involved in that whole Survivor storyline considering the lack of stability with acting alongside the climate these days... to score such a well sought after role on House over them and then leave willingly? I'd be sort of pissed. But at the same time he's willing to earn less and work for the man, rather then famewhore up the red carpets scoring freebies and posing prettily. That's admirable. To me anyway.

As for the forum topic. I think the show's been lifting it's game the last few epsiodes. I sort of stopped watching mid season (which I though was impossible but then it started sucking that much) but have tuned into the last few eps after hearing good things. And the extra Chase screentime hasn't hurt at all either.
