This has been bugging me for the longest time. What is under Lavi's eyepatch?! Anyone got any ideas?

I've seen a lot of pics of that. Some people say he pointed a firecracker at his eye. lol. That sounds like something Rabi would do.

I just watch episode 22 of D. Gray-Man and he say an Akuma's soul how in the world did that happened?

Okay, when Allen's eye evolved, it becaume more powerful. Anyone, within a certian radius, can see the Akuma's soul. He can even force the Akuma into it's true form when it's disguised, or so I'm told.

I think Lavi has a "stronger eye".

In the Ark part of the story, when the twin Noahs appear they take away their key. They make more, Lavi uses his patchless eye to find it because he dosen't forget anything. He than says "With only my left eye,I won't be able to make it come out in an instant..." So if you ask me he might have his eye kind of like Allen's just that he can't see akuma. In which it's stronger so he can remember things... if that makes any sense to anyone! ^_^'

That was what Rhodo brought out from his psythe.

In chapter 113, she says it clearly: "I am the sheep of Noah that possesses 'dreams'. The 'here' you're in right now is inside the dream given birth from the Noah by the name of Rhodo Camelot."

In other words, whatever Lavi sees in this world, is the creation of HIS mind, taken form before him by Rhodo's ability. That includes the dead bodies he saw. It was, I think, his greatest fear and Rhodo showed it to him clearly. His eye has nothing to do with it.

That's an intresting theory. You may be right. After all, Lavi, as the successor of the bookman "sees everything and everyone". However, he had said that with his eyepatch still on, so he might have lost it. Unless further information from the mangaka is provided, that's the only solid theory.

Yeah, I agree with the theory that saws Lavi has a 'stronger' eye. It's definatly a good theory.

that is a good theory....cuz that means lavi's actually stronger than he really is....^^...either that, or he just is covering it up like an injury....it could....a lot of anime characters do that. (ie. Roy)

The possibilies his eye contains. Be it a sharaigin(sp) like kakashi(Naruto), vision eye like Sven(Black Cat) [The guy has an eyepatch too!!!!], or *gasps* Death God eyes like Misa/Mikami(DeathNote)!!!

It seems that every character with an eye patch is either injured or had a power... I think Lavi has a certian ability with his eye. But maybe it's like a last resort or something.

Hum, I remember Subaru and Seishiro from Tokyo Babylon and X more clearly. I mean, Seishiro was blinded for saving Subaru. Then Subaru's 'secret wish' turned out to be 'become like Seishiro and also have one blind eye' (which Fuma grants all too eagerly). Considering the relationship, it makes me go ?!?!

And then there's Watanuki and Doumeki from xxxHOLiC...what with the spider stealing the eyesight arc...

wait.....so 'fai' is really yuui.....who took on the name of fai because the REAL fai wanted yuui to get out of the tower meaning he would have to sacrifice himself so he died, and yuui became fai....so the real fai is dead.............o.0 But Yuui is actually no more because now he's Fai since after the real fai died, the real yuui became the 'new' fai thus making is seem like yuui died when really it was just yuui impersonating the real fai when he was actually like the real fai since he got all his memories........so......the child saying to fai 'you killed me' was actually...fai? but was actually yuui since what happened when fai died they basically switched roles but with the same body thus making it really yuui's body getting out there but fai's soul-ish thingy getting out there...meaning even if fai 'died' it was really yuui who really died since the real yuui got all the real fai's thoughts and memories....wait. then does that mean that fai really did die and its yuui with the same soul with just fai's thoughts? Then that person with Yasha is really fai but is like yuui....BUT........HEADACHE. o.0 CAN CLAMP MAKE IT MORE CONFUSING?????

The way I see it, 'Fai' made the choice to save Yuui, 'Fai' died, while Yuui went masquerading around the worlds as 'Fai'. So... in other words... Yuui lied... AGAIN. First the feather, then the powers,a nd now this? O_o'

CLAMP always had that ability to confuse their readers...

WHAT'S WITH CLAMP MAKING EVERYTHING SO CONFUSING!?1?!?...I'm already confused with xxxholic and Tsubasa RC........they're tied some way....Sakura's in the dream world, Watanuki is some how connected to Syaoran as a best friend even though Watanuki doesn't know anything, Wei Fong is confusing everything, there's two Syaorans, Fai really isn't Fai but is Fai, Fai knew of Wei Fong's plan, Watanuki, Syaoran, and Sakura all have the same birthdays, Watanuki's name is April 1st which is some how tied into Sakura and Syaoran cuz it's weird to have your last name your birthday and two other people connected to each other somehow, Wei Fong's servant person got killed from betraying him to let out the real Syaoran, and Yuuko's being as elusive as ever. Oh, not to mention the ties she has with Sakura's dad and how the real Syaoran is Sakura's half brother.......so far, the only person with a not confusing story is Kurogane....
