i don't really like sean in Gangsta' Gangsta', he's really mean to emma, just so jay will like him. what's up with that? if he liked emma it shouldn't have mattered what jay thought. but you're right they are cute while they are together at the beginning.

totally agree, sean and ellie got along better than sean and emma, but he left both of them.

Sean being mean to Emma was much more than just him wanting Jay to like him. Sean was really frustrated and he felt like he couldn't do anything with Emma because Emma was helping take care of Spike and such and with Jay he was completely free. They had a fight and Sean didn't want to apologize because he's stubborn.

Sean and Emma did get along, we just don't see much of their relationship when they are, they focus mostly when they're having problems. Besides Sean and Ellie--I just got turned off when she was ticked at him for needing his parents after the shooting.

alright, you got me there. ellie was very insensitive about sean needing his parents. but emma didn't look too happy about it either.

Even if Emma was sad about it, she didn't go up and make a huge deal about it, neither did Jay. Emma stayed in the back and let his girlfriend and best friend say good bye. Emma didn't look mad about it, it was more of a bittersweet good bye, as in she realized he had to do it, but she was going to miss having him around.

This reply may come a weeee bit late but i don't think that Emma was really angry bout Sean leaving, I think that she understood that it was part of his healing and getting past the whole school shooting deal. I also think that her understanding kind of reopened the relationship between the two of them.

I agree. It did show that their relationship was open because she understood and respected him about that.
