If DW companions have alter egos in other worlds, why shouldn't the Doctor? What if this alternate Doctor's experiences hadn't taught him to abhor violence? What if it taught him that the only way to succeed was to defeat his enemies with out hesitation or mercy? What if the gap between reality breaks up & the two Doctor's meet? Will alternate Doctor tolerate the foolish version of himself who allows inocents to die just so he can keep his conscience clean? Can our Doctor reason with the evil version of himself, or defeat him if need be? And even if he can, will he? Can the Doctor stand to look his own inner demons in the eye? Can he truely defeat himself?
