I think most of this pairing was inspired by that ep where Inui phoned Kaidoh and said, 'It's a Date!' I'm not sure which one it is, (So kill me right now) But it was a funny one. Another one was when Kaidoh was training for the Boomerang Snake and Inui came to help... Inui had ACTUALLY SAID, "Kaidoh, would you put your future in my hands?" What do you guys think?

Those and the fact that Inui seems to give Kaidou rather more attention than the rest of his teammates, yeah. Or maybe people just decided 'hey, we've got these three pairings (GP, Perfect, and MomoRyo), and three characters left! Taka-san is always forgotten anyway, so he can be the token straight guy, and we'll put the two anti-social, slightly-weird-and-a-little-scary kids together! brilliant!'

Dragona 2007

Throw in the amnesia episode, as well as the MULTIPLE personal training plans that Inui has compliled for Kaidoh throughout the anime, and you cn practically call it canon, even if the thought of InuiAnyone is a bit scary.........

On the flip side, I'm sure Inui would be more than happy to assist anyone who actually had the guts to ask for it.......

Then there was the Rikkaidai Arc in episode 123 after Inui had won against Renji. As the ending music began to play, Inui and Kaidoh had this...this MOMENT. And, since you couldn't hear what Inui said and Kaidoh just looked down all coyly and smiling a little, you just got this vibe.

I KNOW THAT MOMENT! I SO know it. That was just...one of the most canon moments I've ever seen.

*cough* Though I'm still a YagyuuKaidoh fan. (See OVAs or manga for details. *grins*)

I also think it, Inui Kaiduo pairing, might have been created by the later episode when Kaiduo lost his memory. The last picture at the end of the episode Inui was hugging Kaiduo. I wish I had that pic as my avatar * gets off topic*
