Claude le VisteTopic: General pairing disscussion Actually, from reading the manga, there were actually not much GoldenPair yaoi hints! Not much at all! And now I'm actually thinking that the people who animated P.O.T were the sick ones who thought of the pairings... People have been saying that there were no obvious hints in the manga, but in the anime... WOAH. It's like a complete different series. I am sorry if I am wrong, I haven't read every chapter of the manga, and all this is actually based on the private messages that people sent me concerning this... People... Please POST in this forum, not PMing me... Other things you may talk about here: Other pairings I have missed in the topics and discuss it here... Things that sugest pairings like FujiEji and InuiEiji... (...*twitch*) Talk or ask about why a pairing isn't famous like TezuFuji and MomoRyo. And basically anything in the general range. I won't punt you out for getting off track, but please stay close to the topic.. Don't say stuff like, 'OMG INUYASHA ROCKS' Or else you will fall into the ocean and get eaten by sea slugs. XD |

runningondreamsI have a semi-question about Tezuka and Oishi. These two are a pairing (I've seen it called Toast&eggs, I think...), but they don't seem to be very popular. Why? I see just as much potential for them as anyone else, and I actually like them a lot more than some other pairing just because you have to put a little more thought into them to get them to work. They ARE best friends, even more than Eiji and Oishi, and no one ever seems to remember that. I've never seen any real hint that Fuji and Tezuka are even friends. Just teammates. What really annoys me is when authors write GP or Perfect Pair fics and completely neglect to mention the relationship between these two. One shots are okay, but a fully chaptered fic? People might hang out with romantic interests more than their friends sometimes, but those friendships usually aren't excluded... Also: I agree about the difference between manga and anime. I've heard that the story really starts to diverge at the Hyotei arc, but I haven't gotten through that in the manga yet. I like to use a mix of these two definitions of canon when I can. Another Pairing: Inui and Tezuka. Even as a friendship/teammate relationship I think these two are interesting (they have an odd dynamic), and I'm actually (slowly) working on a fic for them. There are Doujinshi out there (haven't read them, but I know they exist), but I can't seem to find any fics at all. Why? Inui developed data tennis in order to beat Tezuka right? Doesn't that imply just as much of a rivalry as Fuji and Tezuka? |

Yabuki YuuriSome of the less common pairings or weirder ones are actually a bit more interesting... In my opinion, anyway. But, yeah, I can't really argue much on this because I like almost (ALMOST) all of the pairings. Ah, it'd take too long to think of one that I don't like, so I'll leave it here. PoT rocks! xD |

MoonExpressionsThere's so many pairings . Thrill (Fuji/Echizen) Cap(Sanada/Echizen) Perfect(Tezuka/Fuji) Royal(Atobe/Echizen) Imperial(Atobe/Tezuka) Data(Yanagi/Inui) Dream(Fuji/Kikumaru) Ah-Un ( Momo/Echizen) Pillar (Tezuka/Echizen) blah... the lists goes on but nonetheless people will see "something" that sparks the pairing. Perfect and Ah-un is popular because in the manga/anime, they're seen together many times while other pairs are more subtle like Thrill and Imperial where it's based on a match or history. I'm actually o_0 as to how Inui and Kikumaru can be paired because i see no chemistry but I guess whoever thought of that "saw" something. XD |
