I'm glad I'm not being a pest lol and I know people don't mind if fics take a while to post but somebody has to kee some order around here. Steph has kind of lost interest in most of fandom, however I have gotten her totally addicted to Mass Effect. I must write my fic of that soon lol.

I can understand why Steph's lost interest in the fandom. I had to force myself not to. I really don't want to lose Sparky...I force myself to say, that even though there was no Elizabeth in Season 5, you can tell on John's face that he loves her...ergo, Sparky...then I realise that the show only had 3 seasons, so I don't know what I'm talking about! haha

I find it really hard to write Sparky fanfic now though. I have to rewatch Echoes (my fave episode) to even attempt writing some. I've been trying SO hard to do my fic for the Spark-A-Bet (which is Z) but so far, all I have is one page on a word document...and that's nothing...*sigh*

Now I'm just rambling on...

You better post that Mass Effect fic soon (femShep please...I've never played MShep, so I don't really ship with him). I need to get back to reading the fics you gave me the links to! lol *scurries off*

I kind of had to force myself not to lose interest in Sparky too but I think I'm just about over that rut now. I love sparky, John and Elizabeth were the best part of the show. All three seasons were just amazing. You've got plenty of time before Z is due so don't worry about it too much and whatever you write doesn't have to be long.

I will get to work on the Mass Effect story soon, just want to finish my current fics first. It'll have both MShep and FemShep in it, I've decided they're going to be siblings lol. That way I get to write both of them as well as both my ships. I have this huge idea, it'll be two stories long. I can't do anything small can I lol.

Ha brother and sister! lol That'll be killing two birds with one stone...or shipping two ships with one fic... :S

I'd really like to see you write a drabble...you'd probably end up with a 15 chapter fic! haha

I must admit...I kinda lost the fandom big time around January. But, I've been reading a few fics, and I htink I'm slowly getting into it again. And for sure I'm continuing with sparkabet :) In about two weeks (once school starts, I seem to do much more writing then then during the summer) then I'll be able to post more for the sparkabet F fic (it was my sisters, but I think I've taken over most of it lol).

On topics of anotehr fandom...has anyone seen Merlin? It started airing in teh US recently and I love it so far!

Still typin' my little heart out on "J," but it's a lot harder to do it when you're going into crunch time for college prep. In the mean time y'all might want to start work on whatever's left after it.

On the topic of alternate fandoms, I've recently been perusing many fandoms out there, from Two Kinds ( http://2kinds.com/ ) to The Ring of Fire ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1632_series ), and have found many a selection of story in many a fandom, but mostly I've been falling in love all over again with one of the classics: Command & Conquer. It really started when I started reading the absolutely fantastic novelization of the forth game in the Tiberium series by Peptuck, and only continued to grow when I got Kane's Wrath form my 18th birthday exactly one month ago. The reveal that they were making C&C 4 . . . Well, I just about fell out of my seat at that. Besides, unlike TV shows, video franchises will continue to be popular and interesting as long as there are people to play the game.

Btw, I was wandering the ADMM boards (a forum for the Harry Potter fandom...guess what the letters stand for if you must) and I came across this saying that they use a lot there:

...and I think it fits the Sparky Army pretty well...they use it to talk about the fact that JK Rowling destroyed their (well, 'our' since I ship it too! lol) ship by saying it wasn't canon and I thought the Sparky Army and other Sparks could sympathise with that quite well thanks to TPTB!

I just felt like speaking out, maybe giving others a muse boost! haha. Sparky will not be lost or forgotten!!! There will be no white flags above our doors!! *GRIN*

I have two new ships and there is NO fanfiction for them. *pouts*

The first is Bernie Mataki/Victor Hoffman from Gears of War (a video game) but the novels, since Bernie is actually an OC...there aren't even fics just for Bernie and I love her.

The second is Jack Carter/Tess Fontana from A Town Called Eureka (or Eureka for Americans)...and I don't like this ship...it's so obviously meant to be there to create a love triangle but I can't help it. It's too cute. AND THERE IS NO FIC! Tess is new I suppose...there's no fic for just her either at the moment.

I can live in hope.

SO, how many of you have had this situation where you've got a new ship that you love or hate and there is no fanfic for it to make you love or hate it just that little bit more?!

Yeah this forum is kinda dead, has been for a while.

I fell in love with medical investigations a while back, totally loved Stephen and Natalie and there was hardly any fics for the show let alone the pairing. I was very sad about it at the time.

At the moment I'm completely in love with Danny and Lindsay from CSI New York, there's quite a bit of fanfiction out there for it but I'm finding it hard to find fics that... I can get into. Lot's of AUs for it though and since that is my fave form of fanfic I can't really complain too much.That reminds me, must get back to work on my own AU's.
