You're right, they are all very good at writing sparky. ;) We're all into sparky here, obviously, but I think everyone here likes all sorts of pairings from the stargate world, which is great to talk/debate/fight-with-threats-of-publishing-each-other's-stories about.

Well, since your a fan of Steph's, maybe you can help us. She hasn't updated in forever and we would all very much like her to do so. Hannah even threatened to stop updating her fics until Steph did, but that didn't work. And I know I sent her a couple PMs, but maybe another person can convince her? Crazy, you seem to have somewhat of a thing for mentioning the words 'Sheyla' and 'torture' in the same sentence. Now, used this way its perfectly alright, but using them in the opposite order can be quite threatening. (i am referring of course, to your review)

Kisto - Bored and evil

I'm bored too. So I'll post the first thing that comes to mind...

OH. Last night, for the first time EVER, I had a dream about Sparky! O: It was in a futuristic world (as if Atlantis isn't already) and John and Elizabeth just sort of met, but they were totally head over heels for each other -insert squeal- and time seemed to progress a lot faster and they were both in love (yay), and other things.. and Teyla was there looking for Ronon too. :D I sort of felt like I was right there in front of them, but later I had the feeling that there were episodes that I'd missed or something and I was all anxious to see them.

And then I woke up. ._.

Why?!?! Oh well. Now it's back to fanfiction.

Wow. I've had a couple of SGA dreams before, but they were really weird...involving me and Teyla shooting some flying bugs...and another one where I was standing on a gangway across the middle of the Gate room and John was half bug creature (similar to the one in Conversion) Nothing shippy what so ever, count yourself lucky! lol

I also had a really weird dream about Pride and Prejudice (the book) last night...*shakes head to rid herself of the dream* I'm reading it at the moment for English homework you see...

Oh and some of you (Like Steph and Hannah) might remember ages ago BBQmice told us of that drink in Brazil which was called Sparky Juice and I offered to write a fic about it...well I've gone back to writing it. I look back at what little I've written (since I wrote it ages ago) and it was terrible, but I'm too lazy to do anything about that so I edited it a bit and have continued writing it at a better standard (since I *know* I've improved my fanfic writing)!!

It'll still be a while yet, since I'm only on Chapter four (they're quite long chapters though) and I think it's gonna be at least six!

Oh my gosh, I know! Ughh! If they were to do that, I would absolutely die! In my mind, it's Ronon and Teyla, and John and Elizabeth. There's just no other way I could imagine it. It even makes sense. Like, John and Elizabeth are the leaders, and Ronon and Teyla and the 2IC's. SEE! It makes perfect sense, and so that has always been my theory, and I believe it should stand!

Hey guys, I know it's been forever, lol. I finally posted a new sparky story called "Isabel" that I was hoping you could critique. It's mainly for my writing style and characterization, but I hope you'd enjoy it. I'm asking here because you guys know sparky so well and you are all such great writers. :) Thanks a lot.

EDIT: I just added another story/tidbit called Of Recognition and Acceptance. I didn't include it in Isabel because it has some angsty points to it. I'd love it if that could be reviewed as well. ^^;; But suddenly I feel bad for posting this here, looking for readers. D: I guess I just think the story themes aren't going to attract many readers and even less reviewers, and I'm just looking for some feedback on my writing itself, not just the story, so sorry if this seems rude to anyone and thank you in advance to anyone who reads them. :)

To start off, I guess I just felt the need to post this here, because no one I know really watches Stargate and I wanted to express what I thought...

I just bought season 5 yesterday (as I hadn't watched it when it aired) and having just watched the episode "Ghost in the Machine" about an hour ago, I was totally SHOCKED that they brought back Weir's storyline. I mean, I knew Torri wasn't going to be in it, but I was amazed the show even acknowledged that little cliffhanger from back in season 4. Pathetic part was, I think I almost cried at the end when she... well, if you haven't seen it, I won't say it, but for those of you who have, I was just sad.

I did, however, appreciate the little look that Elizabeth/Fran gave John before stepping into the gate at the end, though, if anyone remembers that. ;) But now I actually understand why some Sparky stories reference Ghost in the Machine in their summaries (I don't think I read any of those). I'm just glad there's closure to that plot, but I was sad nonetheless. I'm pretty sure that proves my nerdiness when it comes to Sparky, lol.

On a completely unrelated note (sorry!!), was anyone else completely freaked out by the episode "Whispers"? Daaaang. D: The writer MUST have watched The Ring right before making the script that involved freaky things climbing super fast out of a well. Just wondering if anyone else was creeped out.

Sorry for posting twice in a row, btw.

My sis and I watched season 5 when it aired, and because my sis loves spoilers, we already knew that they were going to tie up Elizabeth's story. We just didn't know how. and we knew that Torri Higginson herself wasn't going to come back too, so we were even more curious. I thought it was an excellent episode, but it was very sad! I was so sad for Fran/ELizabeth when Teyla told her about Torren, because you knew that Elizabeth was really happy for her but couldn't really express it. And yes, I definitely remember the look at the end! :)

As for Whispers, that was a creepy episode! Never seen The Ring, so I can't do any comparisons there, but Whispers was definitely freaky!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. ;)

Has anyone ventured over to the craziness that is the GateWorld forums? Holy ravioli. I finally went over there to see what all the fuss was about, and there are some amazing Sparky shippers there! Who write fanfiction too. And not just Sparky, but all sorts of pairings. I know that some people here are regular users there too, but just wondering if everyone in this thread knew about it.

I was shocked to read all of Torri's posts there too (gumboYaYa). I do believe that at least one Sparky author on this site has conversed with her, which I envy. :)

Hey flame-carriers of Sparky!!! Thought I would just pop in and say hi to everybody!!!! How are you all doing? Though I've been a bad shipper and haven't been posting or writing much, I always make sure I read your stories and congratulations on the Year of Spark! All you guys are just amazing! However I have just started writing a new story which I'm really excited about 'If Only My Mother Could See Me Now' which I would just love your feedback on.

Saw one an Atlantis season 5 episode and it was so hard to watch; I spent most of the episode shouting at the screen: Where's Elizabeth?! If Weir was with you that wouldn't have happened, would it?! etc etc etc. But even without Sparky scenes anymore or even Atlantis anymore, I love that people are still out there writing away. I don't know if you've read Stargate Ren but that's one of my favourites.

I've started to read your new fic, although I'm sorry to say that real life is really getting in the way of me reading or writing any fic right now. *sigh*

Man, I am the same way when I'm watching the fourth and fifth seasons. There were SO MANY episodes where I could picture Elizabeth there perfectly and I just felt a knot in my throat each time. Truly. I'm just going with the awesome theory that John dreamed up the fourth and fifth seasons as a result of being infected by Elizabeth's nanites (after touching her arm in The Real World) and that he will soon wake up to find his lover alive. ;) Yes, that's a much better theory. (Heck, they even speculated at the end of that episode that they *could* be still in a dream).
