Hi everyone

I'm Mon and even though i've been a member of the group for a couple of months now - I've just managed to get myself on here to, odly enough, write about myself.

I'm a huge Stargate fan, both SG-1 and Atlantis and have written a couple of SG-1 fics. I've also written for a couple of other shows.

I was probably one of the few that was looking forward to a spin-off of stargate (meant more to watch) but due to a blackout missed the premiere of rising and therefore didn't get a chance to watch it until The Long Goodbye. and not only did I realized that Atlantis was absolutely amazing and that it could practically stand on its own w/out having to mooch off of SG-1, which just goes to show the longevity of the show in itself but that from that episode alone i noticed that the chemestry between Torri and Joe and i was instantly hooked.

anyway, hope to get to know everyone else and am looking forward to reading all the fics from spark-a-bet and spark-a-movie

Hello all,

I'm Shayna, or Shay. I'm a huge Stargate fan. I first saw an episode in class, when I think my teacher was bored and wanted to show us something cool (Well, I think it's cool. My friend's think it's nerdy sci-fi. No imagination, them...hmph.) Anyways, I fell in love with SG-1, and sequentially, Atlantis. I wasn't quite sure about Sparky when I was first watching Atlantis, thinking I was imprinting too much of Sam/Jack on them, but now I'm convinced.

So, can't wait to read more of the Spark-a-bet; it looks great! I read through Year of the Spark, and I think that's simply amazing. And a lot of fanfiction! Too cool.

I also write for Doctor Who (my first fanfiction) and Bones, as well as the Stargate!Universe. As opposed to Stargate: Universe, which I have iffy feelings about but am reserving too much of my judgement on until I see the first episode.

Meh, I'm gonna watch Stargate: Universe, but I haven't much hope (TPTB ruined the Stargate franchise for me when they screwed up Atlantis!) but I'll watch it...I suppose I never thought I'd like SGA and I was wrong (for the first 3 seasons! lol) because it was awesome (for the first 3 seasons)

Yes so now I'm rambling...well, I'll say welcome again, others will probably be over to say hi soon..but as I said, pop into the Year of the Spark topic, you'll get many more welcomes (and insanity) there!

Hey there Sparky shippers, I'm CK, some crazy writer from Germany who is totally into SciFi and Crime/Action.

I wrote my first story around seven years ago and have never stopped writing since then. Most of my stories are Andromeda ones, but since May 2008 I've been writing and adding some NCIS fics, too. While the majority of my fanfics is in German, all my ideas for NCIS were always in English, and with them I discovered that the "audience" for English writing is much bigger than the one for German stories, so that I now write all my stories in English (or at least I try it ;)).

My fandoms at the moment are Atlantis and Criminal Minds (and I'm working on some stories for both shows); I would add NCIS, but all my stories for this show are on hiatus right now. It's a long story and all about the death of Jen Shepard. Oh, and I love (and write for) Labyrinth (the movie with David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly) as well as the Musical "Dance of the Vampires" (the German version!).

As for Sparky: I've been watching Adrift and Lifeline yesterday for the first time and I was crying in the end. When John demanded that HE would find her, not them, not the team, no, HE, I thought my heart was breaking. And I thought, if I hadn't seen the attraction between them til now, I definitely wouldn't have been able to ignore it anymore after the season 4 premiere. In my world, Elizabeth is safe at home on earth, with John and the rest visiting her from time to time. Yep. Like that.

Thanks, Crazy! Yes, I ship Brennan/Booth. I know very few people who watch the show who don't! ^_^

CKAeryn, I like NCIS too. Poor Kate...*sigh*

The only crime/action I watch is Bones...actually the only none-scifi show I watch (that aren't comedy things like Mock the Week etc) is Bones...well I like Scrubs but it's not one of my main fandoms.

So anyway...ah! Adrift and Lifeline...I picked up on the "I'll find her" instead of "We'll find her." thing to! *cries* Season 4-5 does not exist and neither does Sunday (the episode not the actual day! lol) or First Strike!! *pouts* haha
