Post anything you're seen that in your opinion is a John and Teyla moment.

I know there's all these little moments that we all think we're the only ones who see, so here's where u can come and let it out, who knows we may be all seeing the same thing...;)

Okay...'The Lost Boys' was on last Friday on SciFi and I think I saw a John/Teyla moment...it was near the end of the episode when they were all captured and in their cell...Shep wakes up (head in Teyla's lap) and then he gets up when Aidian starts accusing him of sabataging the mission...During this exchange of heated replies Shep keeps turning his head to look at someone off the screen...the only person in that direction was Teyla...So why did he keep turning to Teyla...perhaps to see her expression and see if she backed him up or also believed him when he said he didn't put his team in danger on purpose...

I may be looking too much into it but what can I say I see ship everywhere!

Gotta watch that again, we love ship. There is this silent communication between Shep and Teyla all the time. Since I'm thinking about it, in Instinct, Shep takes his coat off and tells Ronon to watch over her while he goes after Eliya, sound shippy? I think so.

I missed that. I'll have to rewatch 'Lost Boys'...when the marathon comes on.

Cpt. that is definitely shippy!...So caring.

That's a good point. I've never seen that ep but I do think you're right. I know there are more Teyla shep moments I just can't think of them. The only one that I can think of is when Shep, kissed Teyla when he wasn't himself. What ep was that in?

The kiss takes in conversion. Even though he wasn't himself I believe he still had some control over part of him. I think that's what someone else said.

He stopped... he had a moment in which he lost control... but he stopped. Something was still there. The retrovirus itself didn't make him want to kiss Teyla, his own feelings being mixed with it did. Even when he was at the peak of the infection, he couldn't hurt her. (He decked every other marine with her, but just ran away from her, after a good long stare, as if he was fighting something)

The Long Goodbye:

1. When Weir (as Phoebus) said to her that she knew Teyla would be the only one who managed to get to Sheppard

2. The whole scene when she was being forced to shoot him (especially when Thalen tells her that Sheppard cares for her more than she knows)

Yes, the anguish in her expression meant that it was true, at least to her, and I think we've already established Shep's side.

Oh, yea! I love the EP The Long Good-bye! It was so cool! And I also think it was a good shippy one for Sheyla. 'He cares for you more than you know' was so sweet! And we all know it is true...*Poke Poke Poke* Don't we??

Well, another few moments were in the EP 'Home'. I like it when they first arrive on the base, and Teyla says 'I thought you had abanded(Sp?) me'.

I also like the EP Thirty-Eight minutes. That was a good one on my eye's.

Guess what? I am starting a SA fic soon, though not right away.

**OMG, I'd forgotten I made this forum** sorry...

Hey Hope!

1. Oh i loved that, you definitely know they have a connection since it was only Teyla who could manage to get him....They definitely know how the other things.

2. You could really just see the conflicting emotions in her as she released the safety and said 'forgive me, John'...

Just a really tension packed scene.

Hey Seeria,

Oh 'TLG', was such a fantastic episode, We all know the truth, but we'd still like to hear it once in awhile right?...;D

Well, another few moments were in the EP 'Home'. I like it when they first arrive on the base, and Teyla says 'I thought you had abanded(Sp?) me'.

Oh i loved that, I liked how he comes back with, 'why don't we get you a new outfit', and when they cut to the limo scene, i'm telling you, in one of the screencaps i swear he's checking out her legs...lol...;-)

I also like the EP Thirty-Eight minutes. That was a good one on my eye's.

Definitely a fantastic episode, We get to see a very Caring Teyla, even thought it's early in the season, it was great to see how concerned she was for him. I really liked the scene, where Sheppard wakes up and says 'Hello Teyla'.

Guess what? I am starting a SA fic soon, though not right away.

Awesome!, Can't wait to read it, there isn't alot of Shep/Teyla fics...

:D

Thx! I also think that this weeks episode, Allies, had a moment for Sheyla. Teyla said the only reason that she aggreed with Michael's de-Wraithification was because she put her trust in him, Shep that is.

Anyway, I have been going through forums at Gateworld.net, and almost every person that will actually post says that Teyla/Shep make no sense. I think Sheyla fans need to speak up! We can give them an arugement! I think that there is almost no chemestry between Teyla and Ronan, but Shep and Teyla just makes SO MUCH sense!

Sheyla fans need to write! Even if you think your writing is bad, it probably is not! Speak out and write. I am almost finished with the first chapter of a fic for a follow up of Conversion. Will post when it is up!

Anyway, I am done. Thx for listening!

We've got growing members in the Sheppard/Teyla ship discussion thread on GW, but we are still outnumbered.

And Allies, can't go without saying this.

"No Colonel, I choose to put my trust in 'YOU'" -Teyla

HOW IN THE WORLD CAN THAT NOT BE CONSIDERED SHIPPY!?!?!?!?!?!?!

#15 Mar 11th 2006, 6:19am

Yup! I SO consider that a shippy moment, and I think anyone that didn't, is a dunce. No, not really, but close. Anyway, I am finishing up the first chapter of my Sheyla fic. Look for it soon! It is going to be called Second Chances.

I like in The Long Good-bye, where Teyla asks how many people are at risk for the gas was a shippy moment. Was she considering not killing John if it was a small enough number? Would she have tried to save his life, by letting others die?

Just my thoughts. And some jumbled ones at that.

The Long Good-bye ROCKS! Except for the ShWeir kiss...:-P

Blugh...(is that a word?)

You know, everyone thinks that Conversion was a ShWeir EP. I don't know how, though. He almost kills her, but a part of him, even when he was losing it, kept him from killing Teyla, and he kissed her! I think that, a part of him at least, was acting through the virus, and that is why he kissed Teyla.

I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW people think that EP was a ShWeir one. They are all dunces!

Sheppard/Weir people focus on the fact that Teyla didn't go to see him, that Weir did. Honestly I don't have a counter for that specific argument. I still believe it was a Shep/Teyla episode though.

As Ritter said most Shweirs are stuck on the point that Weir visited Sheppard in 'Conversion', and Teyla did not. Logically, I don't see why Teyla would visit him. Yes I know we'd all be squeeing that "oh look how caring she is, she's visiting him..it must be love". But as a defense I'd say that Teyla was actively doing what she does best, being a team player and going on the mission to find the cure. Why she hadn't visited him any other time,(in his quarters-cause she was there in the ifirmary) may be because she was coming to terms with the kiss. It was a shock, after all....

Though all the Shweir scenes were that of both leaders trying to get through a situation that could easily turn dangerous, and also that of a person (weir) caring for another (sheppard)...cause i do see their's is a friendship of sorts.

I did sense that. she hesitated as if thinking if it was possible to sacrifice these ppl for Shep to stay alive. I don't think she would have done it. I think she was trying to figure out if they were in such a small number that if they would be easy enough to get to by the time Mckay broke the code and medics would be able to get to them.

*that's even more jumbled*....hehehe

BTW...love your fics...hope you write more for this pair....

Its a tough decision, but the fact that she was willing to shoot... (even as it tore her up inside) really goes to show how much she knows him.

I have a lot of fics for 'em, and I started a new fic. It is not listed as romance, because it is just going to be light. Caring, friendship, and a little more. It's called 'Raindrops Like Blood'.

Oh, and I like in the EP Letters From Pegasus. I was tired when I watched this last, just a few hours ago after a few hours sleep, so I might be wrong.

Anyway, when John asked what Teyla wanted from him, she turned away, sighing and saying 'Too much, I fear.'

JUMBLED THOUGHTS HERE! I probably don't even make any sense. LOL!

Yes... LFP is a most shippy episode... visit the Gateworld Sheppard/Teyla ship discussion thread... we've gone all over each episode with a fine toothed comb... hell, we found shippy moments in "The Tower."

I just went and looked at the screencaps for that episode and you are right. he is totally checking out her legs. here check it out.

i think you have to copy and past it to your address bar but that is the screencap.

I laughed so hard when i looked at it. it may actually just be a coincidence but it doesnt look it.

i just thought that all of you should know where to find the picture so you can look at if for yourself.

Hi. Im new to this forum. But i am a massive Sheyla shipper. Most of season 3 well the back end of it is all about these two in my honest opinion. I wont go into details as i dont want to spoil any of the episodes but i will say those two need to get a room ASAP!!!

The back half of season three was awesome for Sheyla shippers. The ones in the front half of the season that grabbed me was during Sateda when Teyla was reading John's mind/interpreting his half spoken thoughts for him. Holding his hand. Squee!

Also if you look at it just right, during Phantoms. Teyla was the teammate that John's messed up head decided that he had to protect. It could just as easily have been any other. Johm knew that he couldn't hurt her.

I donno. "Home" was pretty shippy although Teyla scared the crap outta me when she started chugging that beer. Talk about a jaw-dropper! But that's just me. Season one they were pretty close. Season 2 not so much. Conversions was the real kicker. I f***ing loved it. The Long Goodbye... Season 3 Sateda...one particular secene on the Daedalus between the two was sweet but lacked something...

SHELYA 4 EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With regards of Teyla downing the beer in Home, I think it is like one fic writer put it. We're the lightweights of two galaxies. The Athosians probably brew their own moonshine. Season four looks to have some shippy moments.
