Topic: Are the Writers Insane?
Does anybody out there agree with me that it appears as though the writers were trying to set up Sonia the Terrorist as a possible love interest for Horatio in last night's episode "Backstabbers"?

Are they insane? This woman is evil! It's just too creepy for words.

just wonderin if anybody round here caught "To Kill a Predator" last night, and what your thoughts might be on the matter. particularly the last couple minutes... *shivers* i mean, ive adored H from day-frickin-one, and i completely understand his motives, but... wow. i have a feelin this is gonna blow up in his face in a really, really, really, really bad way (and i gotta say, usually when i get such a seriously bad "premonition," as it were... :/ im more right than i ever wanna be *worried*)

we're not in Brazil this time around... meep

Hey, this isn't the first time he's pulled something like this.

Remember Mr. Drug Lord who kidnapped Kyle? "Tell me where he is or you're leaving this room in pieces" close interview room blinds and cut to commercial ...?

Nothing ** H off like people who use their positions of trust to prey on others; the dude in question's a pedophile, I don't think H is alone in his sentiment that the guy is one step above pond scum. And it all comes down to "he said, he said", who's the creep gonna call for backup when he cries "police brutality"; Mallory?

I think what we're seeing here is further development of something that I've suspected since day one - try as he might to control it H has a major dark side. If the writers are smart they'll let David Caruso run with this and we'll get back to what drew us all to H in the first place; his humanity (complete with warts), not the Robocop cliche he's turned into.

true. but whats-his-name (Joe something?) didnt seem to be in any discomfort or whatever when they pulled em back up. and they threatened to expose his son's own "issues," so its rather unlikely that much of anything is gonna come outta that corner again *shrugs* as for the newest target on H's personal hit-list, certainly, he deserves it. no doubt id deliver my own vengence if i were there... heh been known to do so anyway to lesser scum anyway, so yeah. what im after is that Horatio seems to be slowly sliding off the deep end and im wonderin just how far he'll go :/ course, with all hes had to deal with, i suppose it shouldnt come as a surprise

if it's season six we haven't seen it in australia yet

we are really behind down here and the writer's strike didn't help nor does channel 9 messing around with eppys and putting CSI Miami on at stupid times it's hard to know where we're meant to be up to

im assuming its season six ^_^() its the latest episode on my local CBS anyway. hm... ya know, they also have re-runs on NBC here. double ep on Sunday night, starting at 10:30 or so (its on right after the news, so it seems to fluctuate a lil bit), in addition to the usual CBS Monday night at 9:00 slot. dunno if they do the same thing where you are, but that might help ya catch up on episodes you may have missed. you said you have it on channel 9, which is what i have too, so... it might be the same

ohh! yeah, i just remembered. lately, CBS has been putting up recent (full, mind you) episodes on their website too the day after they air them. i think they have like 2 or 3 at a time. thats how i caught the "Predator" ep, cuz i was a dope and didnt realize what time it was while i was at the library. only realized it when i glanced at the clock and it said it was half-past 9... XD anyway, hope my babbling helps ya somehow

i live in australia and we are at least a season behind america anyway at the best of times and we'll be lucky if we get to see season six

channel nine in it's so called wisdom have chosen to put Gordon Ramsay on where they should have something more appropriate

and where they used to csi miami they have a crap show called Canal Road - it's an aussie show and trust me you're not missing anything lol lol it's garbage

Kids are watching lol

it's insane

No sx scenes in CSI Miami but it's on AFTER Canal Road

It's really nuts

it's full of sx scenes and violence and it's on at 8.30 which is prime time TV

and to add insult to injury they put Gordon Potty Mouth Ramsay on at 8.30 too and again there are kids up at that time and it's not appropriate

do you tink we can get through to the morons at 9

nope

they're too arrogant to listen to pay attention to us mere viewers

no matter how much we complain they just leave potty mouth Ramsay in the same spot

i'm no prude and i think he does alot of good and it's not so much Gordon as the timeslot

and channel 9's arrogance that reall peeves me

wow o_O() thats messed up. course, we're not any better off here... heck, CSI: Miami is one of the few reasons i even watch tv anymore. mostly, its just pathetic so-called "reality" shows, ridiculously indecent prime time soap operas ("Desperate Housewives" is the main one i have issues with. the mere thought makes my brain cells cringe in horror, i tell you) and ill-conceived sit-coms. oh yeah, and the news- which naturally gets more depressing every day. gah *shakes her head* dunno what the heck im gonna do when they force us all to switch to digital next February. the analog set i have now was given to me, and its not like i have money lying around to buy some expensive HD version... besides, why on Earth should we pay buckets of cash for quality picture/sound when the programming itself insults raw sewage with its foulness?

heh. im done ranting on my current pet peeve ^_^() i dont think ive ever seen any Australian stuff, but ive seen a few British things (tho from what i hear from my friends over there, the shows ive caught are actually in the "good" minority too) and plenty of Asian. loved all that... *shrugs* guess i just kinda hoped that the US had the worst case of this rampant Stupid Virus, that others were far better off. to think that theyre just as infected is... scary *shudders*
