Topic: Season 5

Did everyone see the premier? I have many questions...

1. Where will the survivors on the island settle in time?

2. How long will it take for the Oceanic 6 to reach the island?

3. Will Desmond be able to help the other survivors when he gets to Oxford?

4. What exactly is causing Charlotte's illness? (See the other thread for my theory.)

5. How does Locke end up dead in the future? And how will Jack smuggle his body out of the country?

6. What exactly is Ben up to? Is he still an enemy? Or has he become an ally?

7. How can Hurley's friends help him now that he's confessed to murder?

8. What new twist will Richard provide when Locke gives him the compass?

9. What is Sun planning for Ben and Mr. Widmore (the two people she blames for Jin's death)? And how does Aaron fit into it?

10. Where is Claire? Will she recover from her spirit possession? And how was Christian affected by the time jumps?

Theories anyone?

I think that Claire, Boone and Eko will return but it's not really them but a weird island entity taking their form. I think the island is a ghost with extra-ordinary powers like it has a good side that heals the sick, restores people's faith and builds new foundations for relationships but I think that it has a bad side to it like chooses when people die, it can mess with time and the smoke monster.

I think the bad side ( the thing that possessed Locke) is the evil side and Jacob is the good side. Ultimately I think this is a Life & Death and Good vs. Evil theme.

Lost was and is a good show. We have seen characters that we have come to know and love go through many evoulutions within themselves and resolve issues, we've seen people die and people born and we've been on the edge of our seats, laughing, crying, gasping and trembling at all the revalations that have unfolded before us.

Lost is truly a amazing one-of-a-kind show that will go down in history forever and we should all be grateful that we have seen it unfold before us.

Lost is amazing.

Peace

Out

It sounds like you're saying goodbye to it. We have another whole season ahead of us.

Not sure if anyone still posts here but I saw this forum and thought Id answer what I could for you spotpc incase you havent completed s5 yet...

1. Where will the survivors on the island settle in time? They go through flashes of time, ranging from the time of the egyptian statue to up to when they crashed on the island. After Locke leaves they finally get stuck in the 70's.

2. How long will it take for the Oceanic 6 to reach the island? 3 years. (Coughs, it could have been earlier, but it wasnt till Locke got back that they decided to get off their buts and do something about it.-sorry still bitter, hehe)

3. Will Desmond be able to help the other survivors when he gets to Oxford? Mmm he sortof helps them.

4. What exactly is causing Charlotte's illness? (See the other thread for my theory.) We dont know exactly, it has to do with time travel and Charlotte not having her constant there on the island with her. See Desmonds episode, s4 for details.

5. How does Locke end up dead in the future? And how will Jack smuggle his body out of the country? Locke ends up in the future by finding the frozen donkey wheel, aka island time machine and poofs himself into the future. Jack doesnt have to smuggle his body, Ben does it for him.

6. What exactly is Ben up to? Is he still an enemy? Or has he become an ally? Ben is Ben. It can always be debated whether or not he is one of the good guys or bad. He is a ruthless MF though so, that isnt so nice.

7. How can Hurley's friends help him now that he's confessed to murder? It's Lost. If Kate can be acquitted for first degree murder after Jacks testimony, that had nothing whatsoever to do with witnessing the murder I might add, Hurley can get off.

8. What new twist will Richard provide when Locke gives him the compass? Honestly I barely remember this part. But I know the compass represents Locke being special and chosen by the island.

9. What is Sun planning for Ben and Mr. Widmore (the two people she blames for Jin's death)? And how does Aaron fit into it? Nothing, I thought Suns story was going to be kickass too, but it turns out she just wanted to kill Ben for taking away Jin.

10. Where is Claire? Will she recover from her spirit possession? And how was Christian affected by the time jumps? We still dont know where Claire is. She poofed. Hopefully in s6 we will find out.

Hope that helps! :D
