Bob D. JohnsonTopic: The Most Shocking Moment Ever! When I speak of shocking, I mean it. What was the most shocking moment of season 1? the pilot getting killed by the monster? Arzt getting blown up? Seeing the monster for the first time? The most shocking in season 2? Shannon getting killed?Well, nothing so far has prepared you for this weeks episode, "Two for The Road". First, Michael comes back. Then, Henry tries to kill Anna. It is revealed that Anna knew jack's father. Then she has sex with Sawyer to get his gun. She wants to kill Henry, but she can't. meanwhile, Walt informs the rest of the crew that the others live in a camp with tents and have a hatch, with only two guns. He stays in the hatch with Anna while the rest of the crew go to get the guns from sawyer. anna reveals to him that she wanted to kill Henry, but couldn't. she decides to give the gun to michael and let him kill henry. Then, the shocker. Michael shoots anna. Anna Lucia is dead. He then procedes to accidentally shoot Libby, who surprises him. Then, he opens the hatch and lets henry out. Then he shoots himself in the arm. I don't think Libby is dead. One of the shots missed her, and she had very thick blankets that probably protected her. but I think she will be comatose for a while. Michael will blame it on henry. he is either lying about the others and is with them, or he knows something that no one else does and is willing to do anything to get Walt back-even kill. So, do you not think that Charlie might have raped Sun now that a caring father just murdered someone? Trust issues have just gotten deeper. More people will die. this is only the begginning, and we are in for one hell of a ride. |

SavvyRavenclaw20Yeah, last night episode was really really shocking. I'm still wondering what is going on. To answer your question. I really think that it's a miracle that sun got pregnant, and I don't think that Charlie raped her. Odder things have happened on the island like Locke being able to walk again, the black lady not having cancer anymore. Jin getting Sun pregnant when he can't anywhere else kinda follows that pattern of unexplainable circumstances that only occured once they were on the island. I also think that Micheal only shot Anna because the "Others" pressured him into doing because she killed one of their members. And they probably told him that if he did kill her and rescue Henry that he would get Walt back. I'm not ready to categorize Michal as one of the others yet. That is too easy a solution for what he did, and I don't think the writers of LOST would make it that simple! | #2 May 04th 2006, 10:42am

Red Bess RackhamI actually screamed out loud when he shot Ana. When he was all shaky with the gun, I fleetingly thought he was going to shoot himself, though I figured that wouldn't make sense since he's bent on getting Walt back. Then while I was wide-eyed, hands covering mouth, edge-of-my-seat, NOT BREATHING, I gasped again when he shot Libby, and my eyes welled up with tears. I was totally frozen and then he shot himSELF! It's like three or four or something days later and I am totally reeling still. My only conclusion is that it CAN'T be real. It just CAN'T be real!!! Surely this is a dream and they're leading us on?? (*I would also like to add that I did not see any previews for next week on the channel I was on, so that may sway my opinion if i happen to see one between now and next week's episode.) Why would Micheal shoot Ana? Why would he shoot Libby? (Ok, that was acciental, but still.) Why was Libby in the bunker? Why would Micheal open the door to the vault, stare at Not Henry and then shoot himself?!?! It CAN'T be real!!! (Yes, I am in denial, lol) But, suppose it is. What do the writers have against romance on this show!? Sayid and Shannon had a perfectly lovely relationship going, and it was extremely romantic when Shannon had her little breakdown in the rain and then Sayid reassured her so genuinely that he loved her truly no matter what - and then she gets shot and dies. NICE. So now, Libby and Hurley are starting to get something really wonderful and sweet going, and she gets shot. WHAT!? We still need to see Hurley figure out where he knows her from, and explore that whole little subplot there. And now, with Ana and Sawyer - granted, I think her main purpose there was to get the gun, but that could explode into quite the subplot too, don't you think? Why kill Ana now!? Ok. I'm calm. LOL. Jin getting Sun pregnant when he can't anywhere else kinda follows that pattern of unexplainable circumstances that only occured once they were on the island. Totally and completely, one hundred percent agree. :D also think that Micheal only shot Anna because the "Others" pressured him into doing because she killed one of their members. And they probably told him that if he did kill her and rescue Henry that he would get Walt back. I'm not ready to categorize Michal as one of the others yet. That is too easy a solution for what he did, and I don't think the writers of LOST would make it that simple! Good theory. Likely, but as I stated before, I am quite frankly in denial, until the new episode. LOL. ~Red Bess Rackham |

spotpc
also think that Micheal only shot Anna because the "Others" pressured him into doing because she killed one of their members. That is too easy a solution for what he did, and I don't think the writers of LOST would make it that simple!
That's exactly what I think happened. There's no other explanation for Michael's actions. Has anybody else noticed the pattern that's developing this season? Shannon slept with Sayid and the next day she died. Ana seduced Sawyer and not even an hour later she died. Any woman who has sex on that island gets killed. Libby isn't dead. She and Hurley were both in the preview. And Hurley didn't look as devestated as he would be if she had died. And according to the pattern, she doesn't have to die since she and Hurley haven't gotten that far yet. |
|
.Lost-Blue-Phantom.You know the guy that was teaching Sun english? The guy she was going to marry, but then they like, broke up or whatever? I think they had a little thing going on. *blushes and is murdered for idea***SPOILER** Since I'm really late here, Libby's already dead. I thought she was dead to begin with, and then she spat up blood on Sawyer and I jumped a foot in the air. **End of Spoiler** I think Michael was supposed to kill Ana Lucia, ordered by others, in exchange for Walt. But then Libby came, he shot because he didn't want any witness, found out Libby was alive, and poisoned Libby when Jack was not looking. There was that one part, when Jack went to go wash his hands, and was arguing with Sawyer(anybody notices how much Jack argues with people), possibly giving Michael the perfect oppurtunity to slip in and out unnoticed. Notice how the **SPOILER** new hatch is called 'The Pearl'**End of Spoiler**. The Pearl is also a book by John Steinbeck. And the main theme of 'John Steinbeck's The Pearl' is Good VS Evil, as Lost sometimes is . . . Another one of my various theories is, that they're all in some drug induced coma. So when you 'die' you actually come out of the coma. So in reality, they're all not dead. The people who died on the island, are actually alive in real life. Just a thought. *slinks behind fortress and is prepared to be murdered* Sorry I have so much to say . . . |
|
Bob D. JohnsonLibby died of blood loss. Jack new she would die, which is why he got cocaine to ease her pain.I think this is all real. The Twin Peaks style "none of this is really real" theories are getting stale. There is far too much going on for this to not be real. Talk about an anticlimax. |

hobbits on the islanduh, i think it was heroine.did anybody see the new one?!!!!! with the list of people? i'm prone to having spasm attacks when i'm nervous, and the guy next to me came in to check up on me! guy: you all right in there?! me: oh, i'm okay, i'm just watching lost. guy: (laughs) yah, it can do that to you. be careful. me: (blush) |

.Lost-Blue-Phantom.lol. Okay, I may sound like a baby for saying this, but did anyone start weeping hysterically when Jack started talking about Ana. And then when Hurley started talking about LIbby. AND THEN CLAIRE HELD CHARLIE'S HAND! |

spotpcLast night, my cousin and her little 2-year-old daughter came over for dinner. Since my cuz is a fan too she stayed to watch with us. And wouldn't you know it, her little girl ended up watching too. Imagine... A little kid sitting mesmerized by a show that's way too advanced for her and enjoying it anyway. That's how good this show is.I noticed Claire and Charlie getting back together. I also noticed what was going on with the triangle. Sawyer just assumed that Kate slept with Jack. And Jack let him believe it. When Kate finds out, they'll both be in the dog house. But Sawyer admitted that Jack was his friend. That was sweet enough to make the whole episode worth watching. |

Red Bess RackhamOkay, I may sound like a baby for saying this, but did anyone start weeping hysterically when Jack started talking about Ana. And then when Hurley started talking about LIbby. AND THEN CLAIRE HELD CHARLIE'S HAND!No, you didn't, b/c *I* did. Lol. I starting becoming teary when Sawyer said he didn't even know her last name. Then when he and Jack had the mini talk there - Jack: "Why are you telling me this?" Sawyer" "B/c you're the closest thing I have to a friend, Doc." Awww!!!! Lol. And then when everyone was heading to the funeral I was all emotional, and yes I started crying more when Jack started talking about Ana - but I didn't exactly love her, so I wasn't deeply sad. As for when Hurley started talking about Libby - um. Ya. Let's just say I cried rather hard, lol. Oh, and my mom, who does not watch the show but vaguely knows of a few characters from what I was telling her here and there, walked in just as Kate was rubbing Hurley's back and she was like, "Aw..." and she got all choked up too. Lol. And she doesn't even watch the show! And about Claire and Charlie - though I AM HUGELY happy that they are back together and was all smiley through my tears when Claire garbbed Charlie's hand, I was like, "Watch it Claire! Don't fall in love or be happy in that relationship! They'll only KILL YOU OFF! You don't want to get SHOT like EVERYONE ELSE!" Lol!! I also noticed what was going on with the triangle. Sawyer just assumed that Kate slept with Jack. And Jack let him believe it. When Kate finds out, they'll both be in the dog house. Hah, I agree. It will be interesting for sure. ~Red Bess Rackham | #10 May 20th 2006, 8:42am

spotpcI love watching the triangle. There's always another development there. It has to be tough on Jack, knowing that he's losing so completely. I think that might be why he did what he did. He wanted to get the advantage back. Of course, it's going to backfire on him. So sad... I think Claire and Charlie will be okay. It'll be a while before they get to that point in the relationship. | #12 May 21st 2006, 2:00pm

Bob D. JohnsonThe last episode stunk. Really. All it did was confirm the theory i had that Michael shot Ana out of cold blood. He said he was sorry, but that's bull. One life is not worth that of 5 others. Michael is one bad dude. I know he's a loving father, but he'll have hell to pay when other castaways find out.| #13 May 21st 2006, 5:22pm

Red Bess Rackham*also hugs Sayid* I love him. He's so smart and the romance with Shannon was so sweet and her death so unfair and poor Sayid!!! I get so sad when he gets angry and tortorous (ala NotHenry). I don't think the last episode sucked at all. I thought it was good. It showed *exactly* why Micheal did/was/is doing what he did. And it made me feel good, b/c I'd had a theory that Micheal was not brainwashed, but merely convinced in some extremely strong, final way that he had to get Henry out and he'd get to see Walt. And taht seems to be what indeed happened... Now we throw in that list of four! So now after Micheal shot Ana in cold blood, accidently killed Libby, freed Henry and further broke Hurley's heart to make him come with the gang, he's going to totally betray Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sawyer. *shakes head* I understand he wants his son and the boat, but I think its sooo awful he's just seems so willing to do all that/this to get it. ~Red Bess Rackham | #17 May 23rd 2006, 8:14am

spotpcI don't think it'll get that far. I think Jack will confront him somewhere along to line and force the truth out of him. But they'll still continue on and walk into the trap, with a plan of course.| #18 May 23rd 2006, 10:49am

Bob D. JohnsonLocke is gonna go insane in this episode and blow up the computer. We will also find out what actually caused the crash of flight 815. And someone will probably die, along with the reappearance of desmond(he'll probably be the one to die. Either him or Hurley). Bob D. JohnsonOh yeah, booyah! I was right! Locke blew up the computer, desmond came back, we found out that he crashed the plane, and then he died. Now, Mk's Spoiler Theatre presents: the painfully long, ** off explanation of the season finale. God, please save me. this episode was so confusing. The best episode ever, but confusing. In this, we find out Desmond's past, we find out that his boat was actually Libby's, and that the first guy in the hatch with him was the army general in that one sayid episode. We also find out that the other's camp is fake, and that their real hatch is somewhere else. We find out that the psychological experiment was really on the people in the pearl, and that the survivor's hatch was the real one. The magnet overload is what caused the plane to crash, and now the hatch is blown up. Meanwhile, we find that Henry is the leader of the others, and that they have sawyer, jack, and kate captured. Hurley is let go, and who knows where eko and locke are. And now we find out that Desmond's ex has located the lost island. Wow. Any thoughts? There are so many questions that I can not wait for next september. | #21 May 25th 2006, 9:30am

.Lost-Blue-Phantom.I don't think Desmond is really dead. Remember, the switch is underground, so maybe the hatch overhead blew up, with Lokce and Eko.I don't think Henry is the leader of the others. I still think, there's one guy, that's above Henry who really leads him. And the Russian DHARMA people. Okay, maybe they're not from DHARMA, but they're still Russian. Okay, you know how one of them was contacting Desmond's old girlfriend. Did he say 'We found it.' or 'We found him'? | #22 May 25th 2006, 2:20pm

Red Bess RackhamMk, that was the best/most accurate set of predictions, ever! LOL! ;)I think Desmond is definitely dead. I *thought* Eko was so totally dead when he set that dynamite off (um, ya - bout that. WHAT WAS HE THINKING!?). Anyways. He probably SHOULD have been dead, or extremely badly burned or something. But it's a TV show, so I suppose I can forgive them (not saying I wanted Eko to die - he's so cool - but it should have after that explosion). ANYWAYS. I don't think Locke or Ejo are dead, though they obviously want us to think that. I hope Micheal and Walt never come back, b/c, as I have stated many times among these forums, lol, I *cannot stand* Walt, and lately I've grown a vendetta against Micheal, lol (mostly b/c of him shooting Libby, letting NotHenry go and, you know, BETRAYING HIS FRIENDS - *calms down* Lol). The kiss b/t Claire and Charlie was *AMAZINGLY* adorable, LOL! But, of course, me, being the cynic about this show and the way they have thus far handled romances, lol, I was like, "Oh, finally. I love them - OH! GREAT! NOW THAT MEANS CLAIRE IS GOING TO DIE - or maybe Charlie - IN SEASON 3!" Lol!!! He said "We found it," and they were Portuguese, not Russian. Eep! I thought they were Russian too. *blush* Lol. Okay, you know how one of them was contacting Desmond's old girlfriend. Um, YA! What the heck is up with that!? Season 2 is over, and the DVD is being released September 21st. I can't wait for the special features. I can't wait period. As soon as the show ended, I was like, "WHAT!? Ok, now I'm going to go rent S2 and watch it all back to back!" And then I was highly dismayed (though, I have to say, *not* surprised, lol) to find out that it's not out yet. And, to the writers/producers/directors of the show: WAY TO LEAVE US HANGING!!!! (I'm convinced that was thier intent, lol, but still). K, the "WHOA" moments: -When Zeke took off his beard, and then NotHenry walks over and asks where it is. Zeke (I don't remember what Miss Clue/Dee called him) replies that they know. I was like, "NOTHENRY'S THE LEADER!?" It seems like he is, but I also think there's a good chance that there's one more person who's "higher up" then NotHenry. -When Jack and company came upon that mound of those notebooks that the people from the Pearl had been sending up the shoot, supposedly to "Head Quarters". I was like, "DUDE! I *KNEW* IT WAS ALL A FARSE!" -When Desmond realized *he* crashed the plane by not inputting the #'s in time, showing us that Eko was the one who was right about the button - that it *has* to be pushed (b/c I was with Locke the whole time, thinking it was a load of crap). -When the DOOR of the hatch LANDED on the BEACH!!! -When the guys in the snowy place called DESMOND'S EX and said they'd "found it" (that was a "whoa... huh?" moment, lol). The "UH-OH" (foreboding feeling, cringing, etc) moments: -When Eko found/got/carried/set-up/lit the dynamite, followed by the explosion that should have killed him -When the whole hatch started shaking like mad and Desmond was rushing to terminate everything, while Locke was looking around in an "Oops, I guess it WAS real" type manner (hah, I was with him on that) -When Sayid found the abandoned camp, and then when Jack could see the smoke, *miles* away! -When the SHOW ENDED, leaving everything in limbo (namely Hurley trekking through the jungle by himself, Micheal and Walt boating off to be "rescued", and Sawyer, Kate and Jack in the clutches of NotHenry and the Others!) Other moments to mention: -The last moments b/t Jack, Kate and Sawyer before the hoods were put on thier heads. It would have been good if Kate could have spared a glance at Sawyer! Poor guy... -The several mentions to Sun's pregnancy made me smile Dude, I am already dying for Season 3, lol. ~Red Bess Rackham | #26 May 27th 2006, 7:47pm

.Lost-Blue-Phantom.They're making Michael and Walt come back. They haven't elaborated on Walt's powers just yet. Yes Walt has powers, I was reading that in a magazine.I thought Eko was dead after he tried to set off that explosion. Honestly, what was he thinking? That was stupid! It sucks, anyone who finds love, just like, dies. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! CHARLIE! They can't kill Claire, who will take care of Turniphead(lol, Charlie's quote again) if she dies? YEAH! WHY THE HECK WERE THEY CONTACTING DESMOND'S EX? OMG! MAYBE SHE'S STALKING HIM! I still think Henry's not the leader. I think the Hanso Foundation guy who is in those Orientation movies, is the leader of los otros(the others). | #27 May 28th 2006, 9:43am

Bob D. JohnsonDesmond's Ex loves him, and she has a lot of money and ambition, which means she can pretty much do anything. That is a big plus for two reasons1. We now know that there is a world outside the island and they are not in someone's mind or something. 2. The portugese people were looking for an electromagnetic anamoly. how would they know what to look for? Her dad is one of the heads of the Dharma initiative and she has found out what he did to desmond. | #28 May 28th 2006, 6:36pm

Red Bess RackhamMaybe NotHenry's not "THE" leader, but I think he was definitely leader of the group now holding Jack and company captive. And I get the feeling that the guy in the videos is long dead, but maybe that's just 'cuz of the way the film is done (seems so old).We now know that there is a world outside the island and they are not in someone's mind or something. I'm glad someone else feels that way, b/c I've heard that theory circulated mercilessly lately and I just can't accept it. The portugese people were looking for an electromagnetic anamoly. how would they know what to look for? Her dad is one of the heads of the Dharma initiative and she has found out what he did to desmond. I can't wait until that whole thing is properly explained. And, is the idea of her dad being a Dharma guy a confirmed thing or a theory, 'cuz that's the third time today someone has mentioned that very idea, so I think I must have missed something in the finale, there... Oh, I remember the other thing I was going to say about the finale. Who else *loves* Desmond's accent and can't help but crack a small smile every time he says, "Brother" or "Sister"? Lol! ~Red Bess Rackham | #29 May 28th 2006, 8:00pm

.Lost-Blue-Phantom.But then what do they mean by 'it'? Are they reffering to Desmond as 'it'? Or is 'it' a DHARMA thing that Penny(Desmond's ex)'s father has lost and now found. spotpcThe episode by that name was around the time that the tailies rejoined the main group. So the title was referring to that rather than anything happening outside the island.I'm not sure Mr. Hanso is involved at all. After all, if you go on the Hanso Foundation website, it says that Mr. Hanso is dead. Either they're trying to hide the fact that he's alive, or he really is dead. Either way, he may have no knowledge of what's going on with the Dharma initiative. | #31 May 29th 2006, 1:07pm

.Lost-Blue-Phantom.The episode by that name was around the time that the tailies rejoined the main group. So the title was referring to that rather than anything happening outside the island.Titles of episodes have to do with more than one episode in a way. The Episode 'Numbers' in Season 1, that has to do with the whole show, and still does! Why am I the only one who thinks Hanso has anything to do with DHARMA? I like the Penny's dad=DHARMA guy theory. It could be. Anything and everything happens on Lost. | #33 May 30th 2006, 4:05am

spotpcYou're not the only one who thinks Hanso is controlling Dharma. Hanso has a dozen projects going and I'm pretty certain that Dharma is/was one of them. But that doesn't mean that Mr. Hanso himself isn't dead. His organization is under new leadership and carries on without him. And I also think Mr. Widmore is involved. I think he has some connection to the Hanso Foundation. But that doesn't mean he knows anything about Dharma. Of course, he could know everything. But there's little evidence on either side of that.Has anybody else noticed the meaning of the project's name? The word "dharma" is used in some Eastern religions to mean "fate". According to those belief systems, your karma determines your dharma. And that relationship is bound up with reincarnation. For instance, if a dog lives an exceptional life and saves lives and everything, then his dharma will be to be reincarnated as a human. Conversely, if a human lives a terrible life and does nothing but cause trouble, then his dharma will be to be reincarnated as a dog. Within that belief, the goal of each soul is to earn good karma, be reincarnated in a higher form, and eventually achieve ultimate enlightenment. I can't help but think that the Dharma initiative has something to do with this belief system. | #34 May 30th 2006, 4:55am

Red Bess RackhamOk, Hanso is the oriental guy in the videos, right? And I have been wodnering if Dharma meant anything in particular. Also, as I was just reading the new issue of the "Lost" magazine, apparently the lines on the Dharma sign mean something too. I don't remember exactly what it said, so I will have to go reference that. But the lines are apparently some form of symbols that mean the eight wonders of the universe, like fire, air, water, earth, etc etc. ~Red Bess Rackham | #35 Jun 01st 2006, 4:50pm

|
spotpcIf the Dharma insignia includes some sort of symbology then I never noticed. But it could fit in with the idea of the Eastern religions being involved. The five Chinese elements (Air, Water, Fire, Wood, and Metal) play a major role in Eastern philosophy. Supposedly, each person should include all the elements in the proper proportions in order to be balanced. If the elements are out of balance, than the person is out of balance too. Could the Dharma initiative have something to do with that too?| #36 Jun 01st 2006, 7:33pm

Red Bess RackhamOk. I'm at my own puter now, and I have the magazine in my hand, so I will type out that section thing about the Dharma's sign for you guys.Lost: The Official Magazine, Issue 4 Q: "In Issue #3 of Lost Magazine, Damon Lindelof said that the lines around the Dharma symbol were 'not insignificant'. As a result, my friend and I have been trying to figure out what they mean. We found out that they are the same symbols as the ones in the corner of the South Korean flag, which represent the concepts of opposites and balance - a theme present throughout Lost. We looked into the symbols and found tha they are tri-grams used in Pa Kua. These tri-grams describe the eight phenomena of the universe: fire (sun), earth, lake (marsh, body of water), heaven (sky), mountain, thunder, and wind." -Sarah and Tessa Helbie, Greensburg, Pennsylvania, USA A: "Nicely researched, guys. What you found out definitely does seem to tie in with the themes and interets of the Dharma Iniative. Anyone care to expand on this further? Write in with your thoughts!" So there you have it. That's what I was talking about in my other post, but I couldn't remember the exact details. ~Red Bess Rackham | #37 Jun 03rd 2006, 12:56pm

spotpcInteresting... Fire, earth, lake, heaven, mountain, thunder, and wind. But what could the elements of the universe have to do with what's going on with the island? That could be what they're going to handle in season 3.| #38 Jun 05th 2006, 3:04pm

spotpcFound it... :)This info came from Damon Lindelof's podcast, co-creator, writer, and producer of Lost. The four-toed statue -- they would estimate the foot alone is between 35-60 feet tall, thus a pretty big statue (in whole). Also, they view the island as an archeological dig, and they're constantly excavating it -- whereas season two revolved around learning about dharma, season three will dig deeper into the island's past inhabitants and history. Dharma arrived in the 70's or so, but who was there before? The Challah(Staff's name for the finale) -- two moments, as they defined it- one being when the two portugeuse men found the signal, and the other when penny asnwered the phone. The flashing white sky -- The brunt of the mystery of season three. Whereas the hatch was season two, the sky is season three. Damon said he would have interpretted the scene in the arctic to mean that the electric signal MADE the island visible, for a very short time allowed it to be seen -- and perhaps the time they referred to missing an anomoly, was perhaps september 22nd. Desmond's fate-- Carlton and Damon both said, in their usual pseudo-viewer role-playing, that they would HATE to see desmond be dead or gone next season. After having just gotten us into his character, and learning about penny, it would be awful if he was killed off. And they also said, we dont even know why he was dishonorably discharged from the army. The first six episodes -- deals more with the others, and why they chose kate, sawyer and jack. It will also deal more with characters, and cashes in on some of the built-up relationships, romances, etc. Other season three hints and bits-- We will learn how locke got in his wheelchair, how jack got his tatoos, and about kate's marriage. At some point during season two, we saw the monster, and were unaware that we were looking at it. The button is broken, and the hatch is basically no longer functioning. | #42 Jun 06th 2006, 1:06pm

.Lost-Blue-Phantom.That black smoke thing was the monster. That thing Eko was staring at. When did Kate ever get MARRIED? | #43 Jun 06th 2006, 6:25pm

spotpcBut everyone knew that was the monster. I'm not sure that's the incident he's talking about.Kate's marraige was revealed back in season 1. Remember that little toy airplane? That belonged to her ex, his prized possession. They were childhood sweethearts but were only married for a short time. After she got in trouble, she found out that her mom was diagnosed with cancer. She contacted her ex, who was a doctor, and asked him to help her mom. The cops tracked her down and tried to corner her in the hospital parking lot. She managed to run their blockade and escape but her ex was shot and killed. His personal effects, including that toy airplane, were stored in a safe deposit box at a certain bank. Kate found a gullible partner and robbed the bank to get the toy back. After getting away with that, she ran away to Australia where the marshall finally caught up with her. He took the toy back and put it in his briefcase which Kate and Sawyer later found and fought over for a while. When Jack asked her why she wanted that toy back so much, she told him that it belonged to the man she loved. When he didn't accept that answer, she said it belonged to the man she killed. Of course, both statements were true. But Jack didn't know that. I hope that cleared up the mystery for you. So in season 3, they'll reveal more about Kate's short-lived marraige. | #44 Jun 06th 2006, 7:30pm

.Lost-Blue-Phantom.Oh . . . but I always thought that guy was her childhood sweetheart, and he was already married when she came back, after she found out her mother had cancer.Oh yeah! Remember when Locke looked into 'The Eyes of the Island' back in Season 1? Maybe they'll elaborate on that a little more. And then, in the Season 1 finale, Locke was being dragged off by something . . . | #45 Jun 07th 2006, 1:02pm

spotpcI want to know why they got divorced. I mean, I could tell they still loved each other when they met again. And he seemed like such a nice guy. So what happened? Did one of them cheat? Did they just grow apart like young couples do sometimes? I'm so curious.I think the monster is a shapeshifter. Maybe even some sort of demon. | #48 Jun 08th 2006, 7:47am

.Lost-Blue-Phantom.I think he was cheating on Kate.1) I like Kate, although Kate's kinda devious, so I wouldn't be surprised if she did actually cheat on him 2) She seemed pretty happy to see him again. 3) I don't remember what three was | #49 Jun 09th 2006, 4:30pm

hobbits on the islandKate wouldn't cheat on her childhood sweetheart! i used to dislike her but she's proved throughout the seasons that she's actually a kindhearted person. same thing with tom.(or whatever his name was) maybe they broke up cuz she blew up a house...question! how many seasons will it take for sun to have her baby? i mean, it's been two years and we've only gotten thru 60-65 days... and it takes nine months... | #50 Jun 09th 2006, 7:21pm
