YKYOW you obsessivly check the House/Cuddy LJ community 10 times a day to see if anyone has posted anything.

YKYOW you see a JDate billboard and think, "So THAT'S what House was talking about..." and instantly start cracking up at picturing Cuddy in the place of the insanely grinning woman in the overly-cheerful couple in the picture.

Also-

when you are out to dinner with your aunt and she can't find her keys, and you start to say, "Hey, that's like in that movie when..." and then you realize it's not from a movie, it's from a House/Cuddy fanfiction you just read (Honey, by friendsholic, over at the LJ...)where House and Cuddy are out to dinner and he steals her keys and she freaks out cuz she thinks she lost them....

So, clearly, you can't really mention that to your aunt. Because, you know, she's not really the sort who would get fanfiction... at all.

Someone else please post here. I feel silly. But I have things to say, dammit!

Anyway.

So, YKYOW, even though you totally KNOW it's going to be Stacy in bed with House in "Need To Know," you can't stop yourself from mentally praying "PLEASE let it be Cuddy. Please please please please please!!!"

YKYOW... you accept it may not be Cuddy going to bed with House (after much sadness) but keep reminding yourself that if its Stacy, she's leaving, she'll be gone, and Cuddy will have House all to herself! Remember less Stacy, means more screen time for Cuddy, which means more Cuddy/House flirting moments!

Anyway, slightly off-topic, I'm really excited to read (on the "Hey!" thread, I think) that there's a new House/Cuddy story/author, namely you. Going off to read right now!

By the way, does anyone recommend any good House/Cuddy fanfiction sites or stories?

On this sight, Eleanor J., Enlee, Gomes, and shadowfood all post some excellent writing that focuses on the housecuddy relationship. Also, morgan72uk focuses on the house/cuddy/wilson friendship and/or romantic entanglements. A popular fic is cincoflex's "Tempered" which can be found at cincoflex[dot]net. And like I said, most of these and more can be found at the ffnet housecuddy c2.

Ergh, I DEFINITELY forgot some....

Yeah, you really don't want to get me started on housecuddy fanfic... I hope this helped, though.

There was a HouseCuddy fanfiction archive but it's down. I think some people are working on it this summer, though, and when it's back up the link is on the LJ. Meanwhile, it's sometimes difficult to go through all the tons of pages in the community. It's easier to go day by day, so if you want to access the calendar you just add [slash]2004 (or 2005 or 2006) to get to the calendar.

As for more fics... Well, again, most of my recs for this site are on the C2. I know zauberer-sirin and lilyrite both wrote awesome oneshots... Lily's is more angsty. there's more I know, I just haven't read on this site in a WHILE. I'll try to think of more recs that are only on the LJ, but they might be hard to find because I don't have the URLs... again, you'd have to sort through the archive. I know Catherine5 (known on lj as hihoplastic) sometimes makes lists of good fanfiction in her journal, and there might be some in her memories...

I have no idea how much LJ knowledge you have so if any of this doesn't make sense don't hesitate to ask. Sorry this was so rambly and there weren't many actual fic recs, but I wanted to be able to give you something and I can't think of more fics at the moment without going through the archive myself.

HouseAddiction, I thought of two authors that I forgot from a while back who write phenomenal housecuddy fics- earthdrago and flying cat. They're both excellent and I would highly suggest checking them out.

You wish in every new episode you see that there's gonna be a H/Cu scene. or

You examine carefully the sneak previews of the new episode if there's any hint of Huddy scenes in it...

-if you saw an awesome Huddy scene, you'll dream of it all night long....

You watch and listen to every comentary available/interviews to see if there's a hint of this pairing in the show(even though it seems like the whole world says its gonna be H/Cam(blegh)

-if they say its gonna be H/Cam in the end (or H/Stacy) you argue and babble all about Huddy,, jsut to prove they're wrong...:P

You write every H/Cu scenes you see in an eppy then plan to write a fic about it...

ok, I admit, I do all of these stuff...:D

- You have to write a short story for school and the main characters are called House and Cuddy.

- You visit youtube and spent many hours watching Huddy Fanvids or Huddy Scenes from the third season which you haven't seen , because they haven't been on TV yet.(it's not fair...and now there's even a winter break...with repeats.)

- You only watch House for the Huddy moments and you scream if you finally find one xD

- You visit a friend just to write a Huddy Fanfiction with her ^^

- You want to have the third season on dvd so desperately that you think about buying it on the internet, even if you know you will not understand everything.

- You make a House calendar with many Huddy pictures

- You paste your school folder up with Huddy pictures

-You check back on your favourite fanfic every two or minutes to see if they've posted.

-You download the latest episode just so you can use the Huddy moment/moments in a music video
