 Catherine5There are just too many to pick from... Every episode (every episode, that is, where Lisa Edelstein gets more than sixty seconds of air-time *shoots evil glare at writers) and all of their interactions are just priceless. At the moment I'm thinking of, the entire episode of Humpty Dumpty *cringes at title*... we'll just call it 2.03, and the beginning of Three Stories:Cuddy: Dr. Riley is throwing up; he obviously can’t lecture House: You witnessed the spew, or you just have his word for it? I think I’m coming down with a little bit of the clap. I may have to go home for a few days. Cuddy: Dr. Riley doesn’t have a history of lying to me. House: You said this is the fifth time he’s missed a class this year! Either he’s dying or he’s lying. Cuddy: I’ll give you two hours off clinic duty. House: Fine, I’ll have Cameron do it. She loves inspiring the inspired. Cuddy: You’ll do it. House: Why is it always me? Cuddy: Because the world hates you. Or because it’s a class on diagnostics. Pick whatever reason feeds your narcissism better. House: I’m not doing it. [House leaves, stops outside, then turns around and goes back in] You’re supposed to stop me. Renegotiate. Cuddy: Hmm, and you were supposed to keep on walking. Sorry, I guess we both screwed up. Go on, do it again. *Lisa NAILS this line* House: I’ll do the lecture for four hours off clinic. Cuddy: Two. I know you’d rather spend a couple of hours listening to yourself than listening to patients. Class starts in twenty minutes. Then of course the one about fun bags, the conjugal visit, Cuddy chuggalugging a class of alcohol in one go, their conversation in Detox, the one you picked (must comment- that was so sad! the birthday card and the look on her face and... poor Cuddy. u_u), the look on her face at the end of Foreman's tirad in Deception... Yeah. Just too many to rattle off. *sighs* Me loves me some HouseCuddy. |

BookwormKiwiI agree with Catherine5, the whole 2.03 episode was great Cuddy/House stuff. My favourite scene, though, was in Love Hurts. The whole scene, but my favourite line: Cuddy: Wear the sky-blue shirt. It almost makes you look nice. It makes me curious as to where she's seen it before... |

borgprincessOne of the moments Catherine5 mentioned in passing was just unbearably sad- the birthday card scene. It was such a throwaway moment, I actually had to rewind my tape and watch it again to tell what was going on, how House made it clear he disdained any acknowledgement of his birthday, Cuddy switches into professional Dean of Medicine mode, and then when he walks away, she throws the card in the bin. Catherine5I love that whole (tragic) conversation, and, if you look closely, just how much those 30 seconds show about their characters, and their relationship and everything... it's heartbreaking! The first time I saw it I sat gaping at my tv and missed the next five minutes of whatever happened. *sighs* House, go find Cuddy and kissandmakeup. Or makeout. Whatever. Speaking of, I forgot one - in Occam's Razor (1.03), their whole conversation in her office, and his following conversation with Wilson: Wilson: What’s with you and her? House: Don’t. Wilson: Do you have a thing for her? The only people who can get to you – House: No! There is not a thin line between love and hate. There is, in fact, a Great Wall of China with armed sentries posted every 20 feet between love and hate. (Sure there is, House.) ... Wilson: Do me a favor. Take one of these, wait five minutes for it to kick in, and find Cuddy, and kiss her **. (Oh, the Wilson love) Later: House: I get to knock off an hour early today. Know why? ‘Cause I kissed my boss’ **. You ever do that? What I would give to see that scene... *sighs* I'll bet he meant literally, too. housecuddy1Hey everyone newbie here :D For some unexplainable reason I have gone into Huddy overdrive the last few days! Actually I think its because I saw Cuddy crying on the season 3 promo :'( Argh reading all these moments I just cannot stop grinning! I only saw a few episodes of Season 1 so I'm a bit uneducated on Season 1 House/Cuddy moments but hopefully I will get the DVD's :D I saw the Birthday Card clip on a video on youtube and although there was music over it and I couldn't here what was being said my jaw hit the floor. She bought him a card aaaaaaaah its too much for my shipper heart to take lol. My favourite moment is at the end of Who's your daddy? and Cuddy goes to his office and wants to say something more than thank-you but can't!! HouseAddictionOMG!! I saw the promo!!! Holy crap it was amazing!!! My favorite Huddy scene... Um... Well the whole episode "Humpty Dumpty" was all Huddy!! That made me feel all tingly inside!! The whole thing with him going through her house was priceless! Yep...I saw the birthday card one... I seriously cried big anime tears when I saw that!!! Yes Lisa E. needs more screen time because she is awesome and a great actress!! Oh yeah I totally also like the funbags thing about the produce department in "Kids" That was hysterical!!!! And the sky blue shirt...yes why does she notice things like that???? And in Three Stories with the whole walking out and then walking in again because they both screwed up! And at the end of Honeymoon when he says that whole thing about not wanting to have sex again because it was miserable the first time because of her adminitrative need! But! I have a question!!! During one episode of season 1, Vogler asks Cuddy whether she was sleeping with House. But she says no. But then he asks her if she did and she doesn't answer the question...just avoids it. Think that means something???? I sure hope it does!!! Like when he knew where her house key was! Oh and in Humpty Dumpty when Cameron asked Cuddy why she hired House because she always fought with him and she seems to hate him and Cuddy quickly interrupts her saying "I don't hate him!" What does it all mean!?!?!?!?! What I hope it means is that there is more Huddy in the next season. Inspector MinkeyPersonally, I have to say I love the scene with the morphine injection best, and no one's even mentioned it! I think it says something very powerful that he trusts her enough to come to her with this request (ditto the Vicodin Rx in 3.08). I also love that Cuddy is true enough to herself to do what she thinks is right (whether it's right or not) and give him the placebo instead. Had the situation been reversed, he would have done the same thing (remember the candy and the fibromyaglia guy?). The whole scene says a lot about their characters, and I think the best thing about Cuddy is that she can stand up to him (as Cameron cannot) without being totally overbearing and hateful (as Stacy cannot!). They're perfect for each other: their minds work the same way. A match Gerald O'Hara would approve of if there ever was one. ^v^ | #25 Nov 26th 2006, 3:15pm | |
