Topic: Is Sakura the most powerful anime/manga character of all?
Or in other words... Vegeta, what does the scouter say about her power level? It's over 9000!!!!!

Ahem, seriously though, as I recall correctly, at the end of the manga, Eriol said that Sakura had the potential to stop the sun from rising. Also if I remember correctly, Clow powered his cards with the energy of the Sun and the Moon. After Sakura has captured all the Cards, she recieves a vision from Clow that from now on her magic would come from the power of her own star. What I take this to mean is that Sakura has surpassed Clow and can use the power of the stars themselves to fuel her magic. She's young and still hasn't really scratched the surface of her potential, but if what powers her magic is the stars themselves which are countless , her potential power level is indeed over 9000

Thoughts?

Meme alert.

:]

I haven't read the entire manga, however, that is very interesting.

Well, I really wouldn't put it past her at all. I mean, she has the Sakura cards and all of her magic now, and she's still in Fifth grade. (I think she is in fifth grade by the time she changes them all, right?) Not only this, but she is also a very kind person, so I don't think she has really shown all of her power, just like in the anime when she made Syaoran and Kero turn away when she was using the power card to move King Penguin because she was embarressed to show her strength. I think she really could be, and it wourks just fin to me, because her and Syaoran are probably my favourite of all the anime characters! (Just look at my avatar. :) )

I'm sure no one cares about this debate any more, but I'd like to comment anyway. :)

According to the manga, Sakura is the most powerful magician in her universe. Eriol confirms in volumes 11 and 12 that Sakura has surpassed Clow's power, and will be able to control powers that even a magician like Clow Reed could not. Clow, the manga explains was the most powerful magician in history, wielding, as Yue describes in volume 10, "unparalleled magic". In the CCS universe, most magic is slightly related to the sun and the moon, but Clow surpassed all of that and developed the power of darkness with which he made the cards. Sakura's power of the stars is even a step up from Clow's, putting her far beyond the power of anyone else in the CCS world.

As far as power is concerned, Sakura is the most powerful; beneath her was Clow, and therefore Eriol, but when Eriol spilt his power between himself and Fujitaka, he gave up being the second most powerful magician. With Eriol's power broken, the next most powerful sorcerers under Sakura are Yue and Cerberus since as Yue explains in the final Judgment and Cerberus in volume 7, they cannot ber magically surpassed by any but Sakura, or their former master, Clow. Fujitaka and Eriol fall below them, and Ruby and Spinel are even lower. Beyond that all other people in the CCS universe have normal power, which is far below the main character's hierarchy.
