 Emerald-reiI will bombard this topic lol! Fuji~~~ *cheers* I love him. The way he looks...his play...everything! XDAnyway, there is one thing I am not sure of...about him (what a pity and idiotic thing in the world o__o ) His given name...Syuusuke...In the anime 2nd opening song, his name is spelled Syusuke...But when online, some say it's Shuusuke while some say Syuusuke. I am confused. :( If there are any artist here that happen to draw as well, do tell me so that I can drool over your art of him! XD |

Megami no HikariEnglish: Shusuke Japanese: Both Syusuke and Syuusuke are acceptable,, but our Tensai's given name is "Syuusuke" BTW: the same thing happens with the name Shuichi(Shuuichi, Syuuichi, Syuichi, etc.) All of them are useable but each author uses the name that they like best :) |

Megami no HikariHmm Well it would appear like so in the anime, but you really can't blame her, Yuuta IS the one who formed the one-sided rivalry with his brother and moved out to camp in a catholic school with a duck and a purple shirted thing (at least that's What Syuusuke says :) I personally like Mizuki, but he's fun to ridicule!) that areYanagisawa and Mizuki. I mean who leaves Syuusuke for Yanagisawa's company (I believe him and Yuuta are dormates correct me if I'm wrong) only Yuuta does that. Besides Syuusuke was always the favourite, he was always the genius, besides who could resist that cute little mona lisa smile on a chibi Syuusuke *squeaaal*? XD It makes him really fun to tease...that purple freak. XP I don't know much about Yuuta's school...didn't pay much attention. ^^; Yes yes! No one can resist his overly sweet smile~~ When both of Fuji brothers were young, they looked so cute (especially the protective Syuusuke!!) Megami no HikariI guess thats part of it, I aslo believe its part of his true personality. Fuji is Fuji, he is a simple person and truly enjoys life and all it's aspects because he knows they are necesary to grow as a person. Sweet Obsidian RainWhile I think he is a simple person (in some matters), I also think he has a lot of depth. I think the smile on his face is to show that he's happy the with his life, but he is also hiding some of his deeper feelings. ChibimomokoYeah. but a lot of people think he's sadistic. Although he doesn't help his image by saying things like,"I like to see people suffer even more." But still I think Fuji has a lot to him. He's not a big talker like Tezuka but when people try to hurt someone close to him... But STILL Syuusuke seems like you said a deep person. Who hides his true feelings by smiling. RoseabilityFavorite Fuji part ever? Nationals OVA episode 15. I didn't see the full potential of how smexy he is, but there he was. All in his chick-magnet glory. There was a match between him and Shiraishi. Go see it RIGHT NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO. He also revealed another side of him. When Ryoma said, "Play seriously," I was like, "What? But Shiraishi just defeated all of his triple counters?" He is a sadistic one. What do ya know, there were more moves. My favorite? I agree. *nods her head eagerly* Syuusuke is definitely a very complex character... otherwise he'd never have caught my interest the way he did; because I don't like characters without depth (that much), even if they happen to be eye candy. ;P At the beginning, Syuusuke was the first out of the crowd of regulars I really paid attention to (except for Kaidoh, but that was only because he went ahead of them ;P). Akira Yama Yes Fuji... the reason we live and breath ~sighs~.... He is like the best! Genius as well as beauty. There's only one thing I do not get and I hope SOMEONE can clear this up for me... why is Fuji considered a sadist in the FanFics? I mean I own the entire American series and the Anime no longer shows in America so I scrummage it on veoh, but I just don't see it... er in the manga. Is that the problem? chemiskorpion0002 well he is considered a sadist because he makes his opponents suffer, especially if his opponent had played and defeated/did something wrong to his brother or friend. examples: mizuki (who trained yuuta with the a shot that can damage his shoulders, sorry i forgot the name of the shot) - fuji let him lead by 5-0 (set: 40-0) before playing seriously and not making him score another point, thereby disgracing him infront of everyone. kirihara (who injured tachibana, close friend of fuji) - well i guess we all know what he did to kirihara... | #40 Aug 07th 2008, 9:57pm | |

jamie316 Yeah, plus I think it was one of the first few episodes where Inui juice made its first appearance...and Fuji was one of the few who actually liked it, drinking the whole glass without any reaction. He then smiled and said something along the lines of "It's not bad, I would recommend it". Then when Tezuka made them run laps, Inui suggested the loser would have to drink a whole jug of juice. *imagines the chaos and grins* Anyway, all the Regulars went crazy and ran like mad. Then Momoshiro pointed out that since Fuji liked drinking the juice so much, he shouldn't be running so fast (AKA Fuji-senpai, please lose on purpose so we don't have to drink it) Fuji calmly relied "I like seeing people suffer more" And thus this whole 'sadist' business started.... LOL. But seriously, I can't stand people who just label him as that. Fuji is such a complex and deep character...there is so much more to him than his weird food preferences. ^_^ Plus, I can totally understand Fuji's over-protectiveness...I have a close friend who is exactly like that. Nicest, sweetest person in the world, and normally reserved and quiet, but once you insult/criticise/physically hurt his family or friends, he can go ballistic. Fuji's Girl I LLLLLLLLOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEE Syuusuke Fuji! With all my heart and soul! My classmates ask me why I have a crush on him and tell me that he's a gay, but I know that they're all wrong! I mean come on, how can a guy as hot as him with his eyes opened, as cute as him with his eyes closed, and as dashing as him when his loved ones are in distress be a gay? He is a guy, a real guy, and I absolutely, absolutely love him. In fact I dont want to share :p Joke lang. Just kidding....hehehe... The auburn hair, the innocence, the undying love, the wonderful nature...what's not to like about her? She suits him, they absolutely look great with each other!
