The way a character is portrayed (in character) depends on how the writer interprets his/her personality. It's just the matter of whether or not the portrayal/interpretation is plausible.

Hehe, me too. I'm okay with Fuji being paired with a guy... if they change his gender (check out Who Am I by mesmerizedbyceruleaneyes). I also like him to be paired with an OC, granted said OC is NOT a Mary Sue (which is why Himitstu and Battle of the Tensais is absolutely kickass... so funny).

I love the Tezuka/Fuji pairing out of all the Tenipuri pairings. They're my number one pair in my list out of my list of yaoi pairings in POT. REasons why because they do make a passionate, angsty, and lovely pairing. They're also good for each other. They do sometimes gaze at each other in the manga and anime. They knew each other since the 7th grade.

Yes, I have to agree with Kyoka. I can't stand the off-hand way people label him a sadist, as if its the only thing that defines his persona.

Sure he maybe over-protective, but that does not mean he enjoys making people suffer...(excluding the Inui juice thing) Oh well, we all love him anyways! *Fuji-sama!*

I have to disagree with your interpretation of Mizuki though...Haha, he's a total crack character! So gay and purple-y and ridiculous...I can't help but snicker everytime he comes on!

I'm with Kyoka (sadist!Fuji is a pet peeve). I don't think Fuji truly enjoys the physical/psychological pains of another person. I don't think he enjoyed it when Kawamura was hurt. I don't think he enjoyed it when Tezuka was hurt. I don't think he would hurt any person he cares about physically or psychologically just because it's fun (fics like that really, really turn me off).

I think he really is just playful, wanting to see different reactions from people. But I think Fuji is really, really compassionate. He'd put other people (his family especially) before himself.

Yep, Perfect pair all the way. It's so hard to explain, they just click! Has anyone seen that episode, umm, when Tezuka and Fuji had there match, but someone went and destroyed the subs? Like, they weren't saying anything different, but the subs were totally whacked out? 'Cause, it's really, really funny and I recommend it.

I love the Tezuka/Fuji pairing. It's the best. I can't stand one of them being with someone else. Especially, Tezuka/Atobe and Yukimura/Fuji - I absolutely hate these pairings.
