Topic: Favorite Red Ranger
Okay, who is your favorite Red Ranger and why?

For me, it's TJ Johnson(Red Turbo Ranger). He was a great guy, a great leader, and pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

I don't give a damn what anyone else says...he's cool and that's that.

May the best Red win...

Back to the worst Red Ranger topic...

For me, it was Sky. I watched a little of SPD, and I could not find a SINGLE episode where he didn't whine about not being Red Ranger. I said, "Dude, get over it!"

And when Cruger promoted him, I shouted, "BOOOOOOOOO!" at the TV.

My Mom said that the show was going to my head...

Jack and Bridge(though if only for two episodes) were both better Reds than Sky ever hoped to be.

Sky just...sucked.

'Nuff said,

CJ

I have two favourite!!!!! Casey from Jungle Fury and Hunter(yes Hunter and not Shane) from Ninja Storm!!!

Casey is awesome because even with his insecurities he can handle being a leader and because he worked a lot to reach his comrades level in the martial arts!!!

Hunter because he's simply the best!!! He has all the quality to be a leader!!!

Ps as for Jason!!! I was in love with him when I was little!!! He's the best!!!

Jason was amazing, he was pretty much a leader before Zordon chose him, and then he really made a mark. He was willing to fight solo to save his friends, and he psyched out Goldar by handing over his own coin and hiding tommy's. He's the type of leader I'd follow anywhere.

Carter was a good red as well, especially since he understood that someone may have to make a sacrifice, and he tried to make sure he was the one, not any of his friends. Same sort of Deal with Wes, though Wes could be argued as the heart of the Time Force team, rather than leader. (Remember, Pink is just a light shade of Red. Jen knew what she was doing.) Wes saved his team, willing to go one on a million cyclobots and Ransik to save his home and friends.

Mack was a good Red, even though he did have an identity crisis near the end of the season (to be fair, If I found out I was an android and my memories weren't all real, I'd definetly would've had a breakdown too). And Casey was the opposite of him, where he was unsure of his capabilites at the begining, but grew up to be a strong leader.

So I guess I have five reds I really like. No wait, six. Bridge coming as the red ranger was cool for Once a Ranger. I could see him being a good leader, kinda taking after Wes, and maybe a little after Connor too.

I don't think Sky sucked, and he doesn't complain about red ranger in all the episodes. Just saying.

I have to say that I agree with most of what you guys said.

For me...well to be honest it's hard. I have some that I like more than others, but...well I think all the red rangers offered something.

Jason was a leader before and he was willing to step down and follow. He looked out for everyone and lets face it everyone turned to him, even Tommy.

TJ was a good solid leader. He was there for his team and stayed strong, even when they had nothing.

Andros, I love Andros. He had to learn how to lead and trust his team and he did.

Carter was willing to sacrifice, in order to get Bansheera gone for good he was going to sacrifice himself. He put himself in that line instead of allowing the others to go there.

Wes, he was self sacrificing, it was nice to see him get in that way. He connected to everyone on his team, there was a bond there. With Eric it came at the very end, but he was able to connect with everyone.

Shane was really great, he had to learn how to be a leader, and he did. He tried to understand his teammates and be fair.

Hunter was great too. I love how dedicated he was to Blake. He could focus on what needed to be done and make sure it got done.

Jack also connected with his team. He really cared about others, and you could see that.

Mack, I think he did come a long way. He wanted to be a ranger, and when he was he didn't shirk away from the responsibilities, including keeping the team together on and off the field.

Yeah, I know, but I honestly couldn't really see Sky having the heart of a leader, he has the head for one, but not quite the heart, if that makes sense. Personal Opinion.

I watched Time force and Lightspeed more than any of the other seasons (other than MMPR) So I got to see Carter and Wes pretty well. I've seen parts of all the others, Liked overdrive because the team actually traveled around the world, so I enjoyed watching it.

I think Connor from DT took after Rocky. I know that Rocky didn't really lead the team, but something about the two is really similar. And I'm not just talking about the goofiness of the two, either.

Personal opinion, I'll have to agree with that. Although I do see what you're saying, but I'm more looking into the future, I'd like to think that he would have gained it you know? Over the course of time.

Connor after Rocky? Hmmm...interesting. I don't know, I think I can see what you're saying, but it's really hard to explain.

You know, that does kind of make sense! I never saw that until now. I mean, Rocky and Conner are so alike it's not even funny.

I haven't seen much on SPD, so I won't talk about it...

But I have to say, Hunter doesn't worry about Blake much. (I hope that came out right...) And Blake was perfectly capable of taking care of himself. Shane was the first Red, so he was the leader.

P.S. Anyone fever notice that there's always a Red, Blue and Yellow on every Ranger team?

I have five favourite!

Hunter even though his colour was crimson...but it's just a shade of red so it's ok! XD I loved him! Hi moods, his look, his beautiful smile (when he actually smiled!!! XD) and his fighting abilities...I loved all of that...and as a bonus he was an awesome big brother!!!

Nick was the new guy in the the group of rangers and in no time he became part of my heart! His being the son of Udonna and Leanbow was just the top! XD

Sky and Bridge...even though I only watched them only in one episode each as red ranger(do not ** the end of SPD for Sky because he didn't fight!) I think that they're just right in the role!!! Bridge is hilarious with his toast obsession, but in the fights he rocks! as for Sky...he was one of the best at SPD and it shows in his skill...and he's perfect for the leader role!!!

Casey was the cutest red ranger of all season! I loved him!!! His insecurities about his role soon where overcome and he became a wonderful leader...his tiger spirit helped him making him stubborn, short tempered sometimes (poor RJ see "sigh of the tiger" XD) and very impulsive...but a strong fighter!!!!

These are my fav ever...XD

That's not what set me off for sky. Maybe I should word it this way: Sky has the head to command people. However, he lacks a certain socializtion ability for a small group. Yes, he can make friends, but those friendships always take a backseat to wwhatever discussion on right or wrong pops up. As good of a fighter he is, he's much more suited to say, commanding a base or outpost than a small team.

Bridge on the other hand, has the ability to step back from a situation and view it from a different angle that isn't rule oriented. He's also psychic, so he can keep tabs on where and how his teammates are doing, and he's a good fighter (and acrobat), so I'd prefer following Bridge over Sky in a small team.

Oh, and Superspyder, you've got a point. Maybe the morphing grid likes having the three primary colors around? Pretty much any other color (other than white) is a combination of two or more of the other colors.

I think that Sky has the "heart of a leader" as you would say...or rather he gained the heart of a leader during the show! That's why Kruger chose him at the end of the series! At the beginning Sky wanted only to be in a command position because he was obsessed to make his father proud but having the blue morpher put him in a secondary position in the team...this made him understand the true role of a leader and the importance of being a follower!! During each episode he acquired more skills to be a good leader and in the end he got promoted to Red Ranger status...because of his "growing up", we could say! XD

but I totally agree with you on Bridge!!! XD BUTTERY TOAST anyone?

CJ, I'd have to say that I think Hunter always will have Blake on his mind and heart no matter what. And worry, I'm not saying that Hunter thought that Blake couldn't do anything, but you notice in small things Hunter is there for Blake (not focusing on the Blake to Hunter part of the relationship).

As for the Sky thing, I do think that he gained, through the season, what he needed to become a good leader. And remember in Insomnia, he was able to rationally discuss with the group, his friends, in a nice calm, friendly manner what was going on. I think that shows.
