I need some new reading material. seriously, I raid Mediaminer.org, fanfiction.net, adultfanfiction.net(18+), and ficwad.com, but none of them have given me the fulfillment that I crave. honestly speaking, I don't read every fic that crosses my path, but I know what I like and I know that there isn't enough of it to keep me busy this summer.

I am looking for pairings involving: Motoko, Tsuroko, Kitsune, or Haruka. shinobu and koalla never seem to agree with me, kanako is just too creepy, amalla is uh... I'm not too sure about her... maybe.... but I CANNOT read anything with naru. *UGH*

now, I keep up on all of the Motoko and Tsuroko fics, and read almost all of them, but I tend to find a few too many badly written kitsune fics and usually I don't look too hard for the Haruka fics...

I propose either a mass revival involving all of the readers of this post forcing everyone their age group (siblings, friends, and lovers) to watch the entire series then read the manga, have them read "loss and redemption" by... either Hawk, or Hawker 748 (I think), then place a pen in their hand along with a thousand sheets of college ruled paper. the other option is for all of you to go out and write a fic of your own. this is much more difficult then the first option, but it can be done.

I know I'm not the best writer out there, hell, I'm not even a great writer most of the time, but I am a great reader. that I am. I may be a great beta, but I've never done the profile for one.... anyway, as a writer of a few things, I must say that you should never stop unless you pass out on the keyboard. if you stop, it's soooo much harder to start again.... if you find yourself pulled away from the computer all the time, keep a notebook with you and write during those times when you're stuck on the bowl (or any number of places) I tend to write with india ink and a dip pen (similar to a quill, except metal and wood), but anything works. if you're bored. write. my excuse for not writing is that my computer died and I can't pull the chapters off the hard drive for quite a while.

anyways, please do one of the options I proposed. please don't forget to post links to the good stuff you come up with.

i do agree with you, not only because i kinda felt sorry for you lol but that i have to practically read every title to find what i want, and some that i do like havent been updated for months, even years, love hina was the manga that got me into anime in the first place and i am sorry to see the poor writing that goes into it. however there are some excellent ones i would recommend A friend in need there are others but i cannot think of others...lol happy hunting
