Okay here is the spot to say who your favorite hero is an why.

My favorite hero is Claire, because I love her power and just her whole charater in general.

Claire is good, but I am in love with Peter Petrelli! He is so sweet and giving and tries to help people. It really sucks that he is the bomb that will kill everyone in New york City though. I really hope that the other heroes can change the future so that dosen't happen...

My fave character is Claire! She has a pretty awesome power. Maybe I like because Hayden Panettiere is my favorite actress of all times. My second fave is Hiro! He is so hilarious! The only reason my bro watches the show is because of him!

I'm sorry to say I disagree with you all: Hiro is the best. Peter is awesome, but Hiro is untouchable. You can't tell me you don't fall in love with him every time he smiles wide and claps his hands rapidly, or grins and pushes his glasses up with a finger, or clenches his face tight when he uses his powers. He's earnest and idealistic, determined to save the world while rescuing every cat stuck in a tree along the way. He's so geeky-cute...irresistible.

My favorite Hero is Zach!! Yes I he doesn't have any powers, he's like the unsung hero we normal guys can relate to!

Plus i think one of the key lessons the show is building up too is that everyone on there is some kind of hero.

Zach always has Claire's back, and if she wasn't indestructible, he'd take a bullet for her.

Hero indeed

P.S: i agree with the above comment too, Hiro's a close second, I want to time jump!!

Nathan. I love Nathan. He has a dark side, loose morals, and is basically a grubby politician, but something about that struggle appeals to me so! Plus, this dark side is coupled with his power of flight, which is such a classic power of goodness. The contrast is delicious to me.

My favorite would have to be Hiro. Besides the fact that his power is amazing, (He can freeze time, slow time, fastforward time, go back in time and teleport to any place on the world) But he appears to me to be one of the most creative and unique characters on the show. We get a great look into his personality, goals and motives. We can see through the episodes him growing and maturing and learning how to grasp with his strange and somewhat startling powers. We get to learn so much about his personality, his determination to save the world, his love with the idea of being a hero, his dedication to his mission. That and his personality itself is so unlike that of most heroes! He is your average fanboy turned hero! Its not to hard to believe that Hiro is just any ordinary Japenese guy walking down the street. Mostlikely coming out of a gaming or comic book convention somewhere. Thats why I like Hiro so much, he is by far one of the most complex and realistic characters on the show.

Oh, Hiro! If I were forced to pick one, then my favorite still remains at Nathan. But Hiro does indeed occupy a little corner of my heart.

I would say

Peter and HiroNathanSylarall the rest.

Even though Sylar is evil I still enjoy watching scenes involving him though I like both Peter and Hiro more (so much i cant choose only one).

Peter. It's always been Peter.

However, Ando comes in a really close second. ;) I absolutely love Ando.

just drifting

Well, I haven't watched anymore than the first series because I am still waiting to aquire the second from my uncle, but from the first moment I saw her, Eden was my favourite character. Why? I don't really know. She was sweat, caring, bubbly, cute and just...I loved her so much. And then I found out she was evil(ish) and it basically broke my heart. But not as much as when she killed herself! I still haven't gotten over it and my throat chokes up and tears spring to my eyes every time I see that scene. Like is happening now. I know - I'm way too obsessed for my own good, but everything is just EdenEdenEden.

Every time I see a scene of the Company, I think: She should be there. And, I'm sad to admit: The world is a cold harsh place without her, and she should still be here, brightening it! I was - am? - a huge fan of the Mohinder/Eden pairing (as you can see from my DP!) I know I'm probably just inventing stuff here. Like, they knew each other for a couple of weeks and everything was completely platonic except that ONE kiss at the end, but **, I can't help it! I've had this plan in my head on how her death was stopped and then each night, I write her into an episode (Sad, I know).

Also, I'm really interested in the extent of her powers. It didnt work on Syler, but is that just because its him or because she can't order someone to kill themselves? Like in Doctor Who, when he orders everyone to jump of buildings but it doesn't work because self-preservation is too strong. And, when she said to Mohinder "You'll be back" was she using her power or just assuming? And does her power work on animals? And so on and so forth.

Now that Eden's gone, I suppose my favourite living character is Mohinder, closely followed by Peter. I didnt sleep the night I watched the episode, I think it was number eighteen, where Syler has Mohinder on the ceiling and is about to cut open Peter's head. I thought they were both going to die too!
